“We went here for my spouse's birthday dinner. Upon walking in, one hostess was exceptional with a birthday greeting, and we were excited. The live music was amazing, and we had a great table right by it. Cocktails were spectacular and I loved the drink menu... bar staff was was excellent. My spouse got the Chinese-style mahi mahi, and it had incredible flavor! I ordered the rib eye; while cooked well, it was mostly fat unfortunately and I enjoyed the mahi mahi much more. Service was pretty good although I would've appreciated the server just acknowledging my spouse's birthday.“

The place is decorated with nostalgia from the '80s '90s and some very eclectic decorations.. I got a Mai Tai, it was decent $9 had some conversation with a local at the bar. I would definitely go back here. They did have a food truck out front not sure what it was but it looked pretty good.“

“A fun, hipster bar - especially perfect for audiophiles. Ambiance: This bar is definitely a "chill" spot. The lighting, interior, and song choices were all a 10/10. Drinks: My friends commented that the drinks were creative, delicious, and worth the wait. I would expect to spend around $30-50 per person if you were to order a few drinks and snacks. Parking: Since this spot is located in Chinatown/Downtown, parking is a little tricky. If street parking is not an option, the municipal lot is nearby with parking being a a few dollars. There is also a lot next to the restaurant, but parking prices I believe, are just under $10.“

“It's a restaurant and bar located in Ala Moana Center. It's a little difficult to find as it takes a special elevator from the second floor, but there is a parking lot and easy access. It's open in the evening, so it's not crowded in the early hours, but it's so popular that it's nearly full for dinner after 6pm. All of the meals are delicious, but I especially recommend the dessert sundae and hot chocolate cake. The service is attentive, and no matter how many times I return, I am always satisfied. This restaurant is located in Ala Moana, but reservations are required, and you must be careful as Japanese is not spoken at all.“

“Pretty decent food the evening we went! Great friendly service with live music. The restaurant had no windows so it could be a little dim. I feel like it could use a bit more decor to make add more warmth to it. My favorite items there were the mud pie and surf and turf. The filet mignon was very tender and juicy and the lobster was delectable. We also tried their escargot, foie gras, duck breast. The escargot could use a bit more herbs, the foie gras was mostly fat and not much liver, not very good quality, and the duck breast was cooked almost like in Cantonese style? Too much hoisin sauce for me. Overall nice evening to celebrate my birthday in a small, local restaurant.“

“Went here for lunch the other day with the work buddy. It's been a while since I ate here, so wanted to check if it still had the ono grinds. I didn't eat breakfast, so I decided to the BEAST BOWL. Wish we could've got some midday libations but we were still working. It wasn't that crowded when we were seated but by the time we left it was getting full. Got my BEAST BOWL, oh my words it had the meats, the umami, the meats, the noodles, the meats, the gooey egg, did I mention the MEATS. According to work buddy, I could've just said some of the meat and had it later with rice as snack or something, but why would I do that, you needs to eat all of the MEATS. I mean buggah was very filling and I am bulking for the summer. Hah. Anyways, the brisket and short ribs were soooo tender. The oxtail won ton, wrapped meaty goodness. I shouldn't have eaten it all, but I had to. Broth was nice and rich. KANAK ATTACK. It's a good thing we walked from the office, so the opu had chance for digest all the MEAT. I forgot the name of what work buddy got, but she liked and had some self control and saved some of her dish for snack time later. All in all, they still have the good eats. Staff was friendly and attentive. Place was chill and good vibes.“

“They sell egg tarts, coconut tart and moon cakes but they are famous for their egg tarts. I bought an egg tart and a coconut tarte to try. Both were delicious not too sweet. The egg tart tasted eggy since it's an egg tarte after all but you also have a vanilla aftertaste. The crust was layers of flakes that crumbled as you bite into it. Overall it was pretty good but I'm not sure if it's the best egg tart I've had in USA considering the ones in New York. I was expecting it to be very big as I saw some other post but it was just the standard size. It is price-pretty/expensive for an egg tart when compared to other bakeries selling egg tart. Either way it was fresh and hot since they had a have high turnover reate. I waited 30-40 minutes on a Saturday around 12:30PM and the line moved very slow. I don't think I'd wait for an hour or even two like other Yelpers have. The staff were friendly, cash only and no parking. I'd go back if I"m in the area and the lineups are short.“

“We came here for Bobae's handroll night but also wanted to try some of the other food the bar menu offers. Parking lot is right next door or they have street parking. We sat down and were given a menu. Fiance ordered a beer (they don't have draft) and I got the papaya salad- lao style at medium spicy. Wow the papaya salad was great. Even though I got medium it was spicy but still tolerable. My water was refilled a lot that night hahaha. Will be coming back to try the nem Khao, wings, and crab fried rice.“

“Great place for excellent sushi, sashimi, and Japanese food. Everything in the pictures was extremely amazing. They even have Asahi on draft. I would highly suggest this place if you like Japanese food. The only complaint I may have is the sound travels very easy, and the people are very loud. But if you’re having an Asahi, who cares.“

“This bar is so cute. Tucked away in the Stix Asia food hall. It’s a nice place to stop for a drink in away from the hustle and bustle of the Waikiki strip. Make sure to try their gyoza and I can’t remember the name of it but the cocktail I had was something with Hali vodka and midori was so good. Also they validate parking “

“Came here just for the fun festivities and the experience and it did not disappoint! If you are still a grinch after walking into this place, you have bigger issues. It could be easily seen as overkill, but I think the wallpaper, lights and garnish hanging from wall to wall is the epitome of the Christmas spirit. Downside was the extremely long wait, however we decided to eat at tikis while we waited and after we were done, they allowed us to skip the line. Drinks were delicious.“

“It was an unexpected surprise. Not fancy, but a nice casual atmosphere to grab a quick bite to eat. Have passed it many times not realizing what we were missing. Have tried a few times in the last year but always seemed to miss when they were open. Will definitely stop in again when I am at USCGS to pick up supplies from Ability 1.“
