“On Hale Koa's beach (Fort DeRussy). Nice atmosphere and 20% discount for military personnel. Only food is hot dogs and chips. Why a 5/5 rating? Because of Kimo the bartender. Have never met a more caring person. He gives water with the drinks, offers chairs, sun protection lotion and anything else needed. All customers I talked to felt the same way about Kimo. Excellent variety of drinks. Mango flow was my favorite. People from all over the world sit here and we become one big family. Will be back and will recommend ?“

“This bar was one of the highlights of my time on Oahu. I loved the ambiance and music from the live DJ. The decor and layout was very aesthetic. The space was small but I personally like a more intimate setting. All their drinks were very creative and well-made. Saved this spot in my favorites!“

“I really do like Barefoot Bar on the beach and always go straight to the bar when I arrive sometimes there are long lines at the bar and when the waitstaff came around last time they got are order mixed up and took along time also before Covid there was a Mongolian grill that had a awesome noodle bar and drink I wanted to mention it because I wish they would bring it back other than that I love the sunset lemonade drink and we order it blended and they always do it for us ??“

The chef brought the food out and explained what it was. It is well worth the money in both food and service!“

“This bar is so cute. Tucked away in the Stix Asia food hall. It’s a nice place to stop for a drink in away from the hustle and bustle of the Waikiki strip. Make sure to try their gyoza and I can’t remember the name of it but the cocktail I had was something with Hali vodka and midori was so good. Also they validate parking “

“I’ve never been here before they remodeled but the new place looks great! There’s lots of tables and booths. They have 2 dart boards and a pool table! Awesome service and they have karaoke! Kind of a hidden spot, right next to that mccully buffet parking lot area. I always have an amazing time when I go here! It feels more like a gay bar and that makes it more special because there’s not much gay bars in hawaii. I highly recommend chikos for everyone! “It's been a while since I visited Bar 35. Sat at the bar with friends and had a wonderful time. It has a live entertainer (a singer) tonight and he was awesome! Had the pork belly and Brussels sprouts--both were delish! Will definitely go back more often!

“My mom and I stopped in here spur of the moment after traveling the island all day (May 18). We were hesitant at first, but are so glad we did. It is a very local, musical, relaxing bar with great people and amazing food - Jiwon Kim is a master. Mary was an absolute delight. And unfortunately we didn’t get the other bartender’s name, but she gave us yummy Hawaiian snacks and checked on us constantly. Thank you for creating a highlight on our trip!“
