Davey’s Bar Waikiki is a nice little dive bar that feels local and real Hawaiʻi hospitality. The open‑air patio is tucked right along the Ala Wai Canal and offer a mellow view. The staff is excellent and welcoming and the owner is a born‑and‑raised local who cares about every detail. Good drinks and good people make a great time. Sundays are for football and the Smash Burgers are amazing. The bar is dog friendly and family friendly and the space share for celebratory shots and karaoke. Prices are high for a dive bar but the high‑quality drinks feel worth it. It feels relaxed, honest and not pretentious. It is a perfect spot to meet great people sing karaoke and make a real Hawaiian hang out before the crowds discover it.
