“Very delicious Malatang, especially the soup is fabulous. Vegetable is fresh, a lot of noodles to choose from. Nice and clean environment. Also they have fried chicken and fried Chinese sausage for kids who don't eat Malatang. Will definitely come again.“

“All the noodles and appetizers (popcorn chicken, chicken skewers) are very DELICIOUS! The server was very friendly. The concept (you choose your own broth and toppings and the chef cooks for you) is so cool and interesting. We are coming back the 2nd day in a row!
Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options for vegetarians“

“This has been on my list for a while. Many members of a Hawaii Local Food group were raving about this. The combination of roasted pork and duck was so good. The flavor was authentic. Moist and juicy. The price is right as well.
Vegetarian options: If you are vegetarian, just stay away.“

“Small, old-time Chinese diner where one diner’s father and uncle used enjoy eating many years ago. This is the kind of place where you eat and leave, not a place for lingering over your lunch. Taking the bus here from Waikiki is easy and safe during the day. Group of 4 ordered fav’s beef brisket over noodles and rice porridge with 1,000 year-old eggs. There are decent public restrooms elsewhere, one in the building with red columns across the street from the bus stop. Great location from which to buy cheap papayas at the nearby produce stands and Chinese baked goods at bakeries.“

“Talk about a hole in the wall! It really is. It was another rainy day that drove me into this place to grab some lunch and it was a lucky find. The place is small, but comfortable and well kept. From my Yelping and by the looks of the menu, it appeared that their Minute Chicken on Cake Noodles was the thing to get. It truly was. I have to say that it was the best cake noodles I've had. They were cooked perfectly with the right amount of crispy and softness balance. All the flavors were just right.I'd like to go back to this place and try some of their other items. While people watching during my lunch, I could tell that they get all regulars. Their has to be something else or a hidden treasure of food other than their Minute Chicken on Cake Noodles. It isn't anything fancy and the surrounding area a little rough, but this place will be a return to on my foodie list.“

“Been on my to-go list for a while. Ordered the Braised Pork Noodles with peas, extra spicy. Was delicious! Hot, flavorful, great texture, slightly numbing, and very filling. Recommend the mandarin orange soda or snow pear juice to wash everything down. Overall a fantastic and authentic option for your spicy noodle fix!
Dietary restrictions: recommend informing the staff if you have a peanut allergy, many dishes have peanuts
Parking: Street parking and some limited nearby lot parking available.“

“Good Sichuan style noodle restaurant to go. My family and I ate here several times since pre-covid.
The food here is always delicious. My go to item is always Zajiang noodles with Peas little or very spicy. It's a nice balance of flavor. It can get spicy unless you mix it very well, most of the spicy soup will be at the bottom.
The house fried chicken and wontons are also delicious.
Since covid, they no longer use paper menus. Scan the QR code and click the link. In the link, scroll select and order. You can pay later. If you seem lost, ask them...it may be a while before they help you. Service will bring out your food and provide water. Pay by going to the cashier in the front.
I like the atmosphere, it's comfortable and has a good setting for families and groups to eat in.
Parking: 808 center where Mian is located. Payment is necessary to use their vertical parking structure.
Kid-friendliness: I see many families, groups of people and singles here.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp on hot pot restaurant side of the center. Front entry is a pair door, easy or wheelchair access.“

“At first, I was worried the food would not be that great because of the lack of people inside the restaurant, but boy could I be more wrong! Service was very fast and the owner was funny, charismatic, and overall a great personality to be around. On the other hand, the food was absolutely delicious and did not disappoint. The portions was humongous and the hot and sour soup was my favorite! Everything tasted incredibly authentic, like I was sitting at the dinner table with my own grandmother serving the food (if she had a few Michelin stars). Additionally, the vegetarian options could form its own resturaunt! Please check this restaurant out if you are in the Waikiki area!“

“Parking: Its a walk up window off a sidewalk. Not a dine-in. There's like 2 to 3 street parking right in front but the food is cheap and good that there's no open parking when we go.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible unless you catch tha bus.“

“This is a local family run type place. Order at counter to eat in or take out. Lady taking orders was efficient, not super friendly. All food is served in Togo containers. There is one person taking orders and packing items which may be an issue for cross contamination. We order spring rolls, shrimp fried rice and Singapore noodles for $37. Portions were huge and incredibly affordable. We all enjoyed the yummy food. I have had better however the price was higher and portions were smaller. Solid lunch/dinner option.Would like to add a lady was cooking up wontons and noods that looked really good. If there wasn't a line I would have ordered then too.“

“The foods are of Cantonese style and they are quite compatible to restaurants from other parts of the world where many Cantonese live (Hong Kong, San Francisco, Los Angeles). The prices are affordable, and services are good. The atmosphere is a little noisy though“

“Walking and exploring around Chinatown Sunday morning, and I decided to get in and see what they were selling here...Wow they are very busy it should be good I thought, I must try something! They were noodles!! They were SO fresh and really really good, cheap and most of them were sold out early morning. I tried the Look Fun one, the only one available, no sauce to dip in like soy sauce or something, but I love it! I had to stop eating them...I was on my way to eat Chinese Dim Sum at Golden Palace.Features: Everyone wearing gloves and masks.“

“A very pleasant surprise here. Don’t let its name fool you as it serves a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes, mostly of Cantonese variety, but also some Shanghainese and Szechuan dishes. We had the ginger/onion chicken (similar to Hainan chicken) and beef with bitter melon. Both were very tasty and sizes were quite large. We will try its noodles on our next visit. The proprietor who also served as the cook was very friendly and efficient. A definitely worth future visits.
Vegetarian options: Like any legitimate Chinese restaurant, one can order different stir fried fresh vegetables.
Parking: There are a few spaces directly in front of the restaurant and there’s a sign that says more parking in the back
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“

“The food was fresh and delicious. Service friendly and helpful. You’ll feel like you’ve arrived at that hidden gem where the locals eat authentic Asian food. Hong Kong style noodles were delicious, as was the tofu and eggplant. Vegetarian potstickers were not listed on the expansive menu, but when the server realized we were vegetarian she made the recommendation. Great place!“

“I was thirsty on the way back from Izumo Taisha Shrine in Hawaii, so I drank Sparring Lilikoi.
I didn't know about the boba iris when I asked for it, so I felt like I was in charge.
It was about $4 for size S, so it's about half the price of Waikiki.“
“Food was authentic- place is small family run nothing fancy- parking around back - 1 woman was very busy with a large family but not prepared for more customers even the welcome felt almost like she was overwhelmed.. they did accommodate a change in menu which was nice“

“Aloha; this spot has been around for years but this was my first time enjoying thier establishment with my family. The service was quiet but instant, food was served the quickest I have ever seen in a Chinese spot. The food was perfect, cake noodles were perfect, Mongolian beef tender, Egg Blossom soup was unreal good and Peking duck was perfectly tender and moist. There are only about 32 seats available but most people do take out. It's super old school look made me feel like it was the 80 again enjoying it with family...I loved it. You have to try it. This is how I remember traditional Chinese food.“

“I had their minute chicken cake noodle. Probably the best iteration of the dish I’ve had in Hawaii: delicious sauce, tender chicken, and superb quality noodles. However, the prices of their menu seem to change based on the cashier of the day. Kinda sketch.“

“This little “hole-in-the-wall” I’ve been coming to for years, possibly decades, but I haven’t been since new ownership took over. I was hesitant because the previous owners I’ve gotten to know over the years and they put so much effort into their food… I’m happy to report that the food is just as good!I ordered the soup noodles with pork and pickled vegetables and it was like I remembered. The soup base was delicious and the noodles cooked perfectly. I also order the salt & pepper chicken wings for good measure and those were great too!If you have a craving for HK-style cafe food, this is the spot to visit!“
“Great value for the price. Everything from house specials to their ala cart selection is worth it too. Looks like their hours has changed post COVID, they are only open till 2 PM or till they run out. I highly recommend the Oyster Sauce Chicken with Cake Noodles.“

“Jajangmyeon and these dishes are referred to Koreans as what we would consider when we say lets go get Chinese food. I enjoy eating here, and it has made my Hawaiian fiancée absolutely addicted to it. Always exciting news when we decide to go eat here and we live Ewa Beach ✌️“

“The lemon chicken was 3 stars, the egg drop soup on a cold and rainy day was very nice and I’d give it 4 stars, and the quick takeout preparation and value being it to 4 stars overall. The chicken was fine but not very flavorful, decent quality chicken. The portions weren’t huge but that was fine, it was a bit more than a single serving of chicken, and a small side soup—it’s basically one meal, and it costs about what one meal should. It feels expensive, but compared to everything else on Oahu it’s a normal meal, and compared to other Chinese takeout it’s nice to have the option to not get a ton of food. I tried to order hot and sour soup without pork and they couldn’t do that, so that was one downside.“

“Staff is always nice here! Parking can be hard, but just wait a bit & a stall will open for you. The service is quick, so people are usually ordering & then they are out!
The food is good! Yummy! And they are generous with their portions, so that's good. Prices are hmmm...high? But honestly, they give you so much food.
They have mini manapua now with lots of different flavors. Only the regular size char siu manapua (either steamed or baked) is available now.“

“Must try Dim Sum! BEST CHAR SIU BUNS EVER!!! The shu Mai and shrimp and chive dumplings were absolutely incredible as well! All the ingredients taste so fresh and and were perfectly assembled with such AMAZING flavors. I cannot wait to go back! Definitely try the desserts too! I would gain 5lbs a week if I lived closer.“
“No nonsense rice and noodle dishes. The wonton noodle soup had 8 dumplings, few slices of seafood roll and some veggies. Never had such a full bowl ever. They open at 7am! It was a great start to the day. Freshly made to order. Friendly service in a barely adequate dining space.“

“First return to this Kaimuki institution in roughly 20 years ? Food was tasty, not bland so I don't know why other reviews said so. My family arrived 7:30 on a Tues night and one of three dine-in tables. A steady stream of takeout orders and one Doordash pickup. Waitress says the kitchen closes at 8:30 and if there are no customers left, the dining room will also close 8:30 pm so get your order in before then.

“A typical looking traditional dim sum place. I ordered some basic dim sums to go and they were fine, but nothing special. Each dim sum is about $6. It took a little longer than expected to get my small order ready, but it wasn’t bad. Servers were very friendly.

“To be honest, I can say that the Panda Express here is the best in Hawaii.
I even directly thanked the Asian male chef for the taste.
Even though it's Panda Express, it tastes like you're in a Chinese restaurant.
(Panda Express is also a Chinese dish...)
The Asian male chef seemed to be confident in his own skills, which was just right.
There were days when he wasn't around, and the taste was a little disappointing.
I will definitely try to eat there any day this chef is there. I'm definitely a fan lol.
Also, the other staff members are very nice and I am very grateful. The young staff members seem to have not yet experienced the turbulence of life. lol.
Even the middle-aged and older staff members are not dissatisfied.
I feel really good as a customer.
Yeah, I've never met a mean clerk here. I'm not dissatisfied either. It's not even a friendly smile. Definitely not arrogant. It's customer service that doesn't make you feel uncomfortable.
good! That's good!
I think the hospitality industry in Hawaii is of a low standard, but it's different here.
The tourist didn't ask me to wipe the table, nor did he make a disgusted face. (It's scary because most of the employees at restaurants in Hawaii have blank eyes and are in a bad mood.)
I think this is a very comfortable store.
What's even better is that
It's not that crowded here.
Was it a coincidence that the timing was right?
The inside of the shop is large and there are many tables.
It's cheap and delicious!
Speaking of pandas, this is definitely the place! That's what I say.
Panda whose taste changes depending on the chef.
I think this is a higher-class Panda Express that doesn't make you think it's a Panda Express.
Did I say too much?
No, no.
But it's Panda Express.

“We moved back to Hawaii after six years in Southern Mexico. We were craving every food but tacos. After being away from Hawaii for so long, the prices made our jaws drop. Some of my favorites had closed. We walked by Liu’s Several times. There are many choices in the plaza. We finally went a few weeks ago...we have been back two more times. The food is great, prices even better and the owners are very kind and efficient. The ambiance does not matter to us. We love everything about this place..going again Tuesday to feed a party. Love it.“

“A good Chinese restaurant we would eat at again. Not sure what some folks issue is with salt but perhaps they drank too much ocean that day. Beef chow fun was excellent. The salted fish fried rice was also quite good. Kid loved the string beans. We also had veggie plate which was nice. Will we eat here again. Yes. It’s not gourmet, but it also doesn’t break the bank and was good quality.“

“If you want to eat Chinese food in Waikiki, I don't think there is a restaurant that can match the cost performance and volume here.
Whatever I eat is delicious, but the stir-fried green beans are a must-order. All the locals around us were also ordering.
You can buy alcohol in advance and bring it with you to enjoy.“
