We were really excited about this place but found the service to be terrible (not rude just slow and bad). The food was sub-par. There is much better dim sum in Chinatown.Egg drop soup was flavorless - tasted like water.Dietary restrictions: No one spoke enough English (fairly) to ask about allergens. Allergens were not labeled on the menu.
Mei Sum Dim Sum is one of many great places in downtown for dim sum. What I like about this place in comparison to other dim sum restaurants is the welcoming, sit down, and eat as a family vibe. I don't feel rushed when i order. Servicers are calm, collective, and caring. Most of all, I can order my hearts content without feeling forced to buy or being discouraged to not buy too much. Great food and ok service. The dim sum is fresh and hot. They no longer have the carts coming around, but being whatever you need when you order. Good value for money.Parking: Parking available in private parking lot right across the street. You have to scan a QR code and pay using your mobile phone.
