“Was greeted by a kind gentleman behind the counter. He saw us looking and opened up the steam basket to show us more options but wasn't pushing us to by his food. I was already full but decided to get the fried pork dumplings. I'm so glad I did. Omg it was fresh, hot, crispy and the filling tasted just right. This place costs a lot less than where I'm from for dim sum. If I could eat more, I would've ordered more.“

It is definitely a popular spot and the place is crowded at lunchtime even on a weekday; service is fast and food arrives within minutes before you've even had a chance to sip your hot tea.“

The food is amazingly delicious - we had the shrimp fried rice, beef broccoli and spring rolls - all are 100% authentic and really tasty. Not super busy 11:30 but by 12:30 - only a couple of tables left open.“

“Went in around 5 PM, they ran out of baked char sui manapua at that time. The manapua and pork hash was very good and filling. I got 6 manapua, and 4 pork hash, all for $20. We got the food right away, no wait. They were very positive, and gifted us 2 free manapua. Will definitely be coming back ♥“

“A typical looking traditional dim sum place. I ordered some basic dim sums to go and they were fine, but nothing special. Each dim sum is about $6. It took a little longer than expected to get my small order ready, but it wasn’t bad. Servers were very friendly.

“I was visiting Honolulu from Seattle Washington for my birthday August 10th and stumbled upon this restaurant and when I tell you this food was the most delicious...that beef dish was so good I almost placed another order to go and the green beans NEVER had them cooked like that with the pork....sooooooooooooo good....the shrimp dish the noodles were sooooo good. Staff was really friendly and clean very clean inside“

“A very good reliable dim sum option with easy bus options and parking in the municipal lot underground nearby. A central location at the edge of chinatown's mauka side. Their dishes are good to excellent. One very nice thing is they are small enough so that will make dishes to order when they don't have them in the hot cart.“

“Ate here with my spouse. Had what was similar to egg rolls with chicken if they were steamed. My husband had 3 buns with BBQ pork inside. He said they were delicious. We shared a large pot of egg drop soup, I had to add a little salt. I had chicken with vegetables, pretty good, some of the pieces were a little fatty. Nothing oily. Polite, attentive service. Bill was about $42 and we left them $50. Dated but clean place. Lots of supplies on tables and counters. Group of LOUD men enjoying themselves but part of the ambiance I guess. They actually turned down every other dim sum restaurant because none of them had carts anymore. And now that I think about it, almost every dim sum place I visit has stopped using them. This was the only restaurant I could think of that still had them! There’s something so special about sitting around a table with friends, sipping hot tea, watching the carts roll by, and picking out whatever looks delicious. It’s part of the fun and charm of dim sum, and I love that this place keeps that tradition alive. The food is delicious, the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, and the service is wonderfully quick. They bring you tea and water, and everyone makes you feel welcome. I really love the food, the people, and the whole experience here. Just one little tip: bring cash! They strongly prefer it, and paying by card costs about 10% extra. So come hungry, bring some cash, gather your friends, and enjoy a beautiful little tradition that’s becoming harder and harder to find. This is how dim sum was meant to be enjoyed!“
