Rangoon Burmese kitchen Reviews
The food was incredible and our server was a wonderful host full of great recommendations.
Great food and service
Food and drinks were fantastic! One of the best old fashioneds I have ever had (specifically with the Knob Creek Rye). We got the biryani and shan noodles with the brussels sprouts appetizer. The lamb in the biryani was some of the most tender I have ever had. I love Indian and Thai food and this restaurant is like an incredible amalgamation of the two in terms of color, textures, and spices. Come check this place out!

Rangoon Burmese Kitchen in Honolulu's Chinatown is known for its delicious and tasty Burmese food. The restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian and some vegan options, with generous serving sizes and good value for money. Popular dishes include the tea leaf salad, coconut lamb curry, biryani, platha, and Shan Shan noodles with tofu. Guests have praised the Rangoon tea leaf salad and the amazing green tea and mango salad, which have lived up to their hype. Although there have been some reports of slow service, with appetizers and entrees brought out at different times, the food remains highly regarded. The coconut lamb curry and tea leaf salad are particular favorites, and many customers have enjoyed their meals, describing them as nourishing and tasty. The kind service from staff like Savannah has also contributed to positive dining experiences, making it a place worth returning to.
