The owner is kind, warm, and very welcoming, helping customers order and bringing dishes out fresh from the kitchen. The food is wonderful, with highlights including the minute chicken cake noodle, chicken bone soup, Shrimp+Pork wontons and noodles, and a good bowl of yummy comfort Hong Kong style of beef brisket mein. Everything is clearly made fresh, and the handmade dumplings are a real highlight. The restaurant is small but does not feel rushed, and the hospitality is genuine. The neighborhood may be sketchy, but the food is worth it, with excellent Chinese food that even a 5 year old said was the best food ever. It is a great place to eat to satisfy any craving for Chinese comfort food, and customers can also order takeout. The restaurant has a distinction from Honolulu Magazine. A great first impression, and people will go back again and again.
