“Simple and tasty food. We had dal fry, aloo paratha and house salad. Salad was freshly cut, aloo paratha was custom ordered to be thin and crispy, tasted really good. Dal was a mix dal and tasted good. Ali was friendly, I would recommend this place if you are looking for Indian food near Waikiki hotels.“

“Nicely decorated giving a homey vibe. We ordered pho, papaya salad and fried plantain rolls. All were cooked very well. The pho broth was tasty and had a generous serving of noodles and meat, while the papaya had a good balance of sweetness and sourness. The plantain was a great way to end our dinner! I can’t wait to go back and try their curry entree.“

“I’ve been coming here for six years, and while the food hasn't changed, the crowds have definitely grown. I was surprised to see it packed on a Tuesday night with people waiting outside.
The atmosphere and service are fairly standard. Because they were in a rush, the staff missed some food crumbs on the seats and didn't wipe the table thoroughly. We ordered quickly to beat the rush from the group behind us.
As for the food, the bone-in fried chicken is always a winner—tender, moist, and crispy. The Pad Thai is actually one of the closest versions I've had to 'real' Thai food (told by thai friend). I personally didn't care for the spring rolls or the beef in the green curry (I prefer chicken), but that’s just a preference.
Everything we ordered feed 3 adults and 1 child.
Prices are standard for Hawaii Thai spots. For spice, 'Medium' is my limit—it’s definitely an 'American Medium,' not 'Thai Medium.' I'll be back, though the parking setup and the location are a bit of a hassle.“

“Wow…we loved our meals. We stopped here by quickly on our way from Waikiki to the airport, and easily found street parking. The vermicelli bowls with lemongrass chicken & tofu (and a banh mi with pork + chicken) were so fresh, so filling, and really high quality. Delicious Vietnamese iced coffee. The service was kind, as well. Highly recommend for a relaxed & high quality meal!!“

“This is a takeaway lunch restaurant with public seating outside. The portions were generous for the price and there is enough variety to have something for everyone.
Vegetarian options: They sell salads
Parking: There are parking garages nearby but they all charge“

“King of Thai is the best! I’ve eaten here many times, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The service is always friendly, and the restaurant is tightly packed but cozy. I’ve been making it a point to try something new every time I come, and I always leave happy and full!
Most recently, I got the beef boat noodles, Tom Yum style, and they were so flavorful! I already want to get them again. Beware, medium spicy is very spicy! I’m glad I ordered the fried tofu with sweet chili sauce to balance the heat.
I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s such a solid spot to enjoy Thai food.“

“Wow! First time here and wish we came sooner. We only ordered a couple things but definitely coming back to try more.
The House Fried Chicken is a MUST TRY. The combination of the fresh lemongrass with a crispy crust and juicy meat, made this a standout for us. Wasn’t greasy at all too.
We also got the Lemongrass Chicken Bahn Mi Sliders and they were the perfect little shareable for us.
For picky kids like ours, we got the Kids Pho (noodles w/ choice of broth) and it was huge! Didn’t expect the bowl to be that big so we had a lot of leftovers.
The service was great and the place is very clean. Adding this to our restaurant rotation.“

“We recently went to Olive Garden Ala Moana to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Kahana was our server and he did an exceptional job! We asked for recommendations since we have never been and he pointed out all of his favorites menu items. The restaurant was very busy but he made sure to always check on us and bring our refills when our glasses got low, which we appreciated in this heat. The tour of Italy was delicious as well as the chicken and shrimp carbonara. When we finished, Kahana even brought out a small dessert for my Husband and sang happy birthday with me. Overall 10/10 experience here!“

“It was Saturday night. I tried to call for pickup, but the phone was busy for a long time, so I went down. I ordered a mini plate. The cashier said they have a special on the regular plate, so I ordered the regular plate instead. The food was very good. Thank you!“

“Absolutely amazing food!
I’m convinced that a lot of these other reviews are from people who want a hand-holding experience while dining.
This isn’t that.
It’s a real and authentic food experience.
Anyone who has lived in Asia will feel right at home.“
