I got the Premium Tendon with crispy tempura over rice: zucchini, sweet potato, shrimp, and chicken, finished with rich dashi sauce and a seasoned egg. The tempura was light, golden, and crisp, and the rice soaked up the savory sauce perfectly.

I also added tamagoyaki, extra shrimp tempura, and zucchini tempura on the side, plus a large Asahi beer, which was a perfect cold pairing with the warm fried tempura. The service was amazing, and the ambiance is incredible for a casual downtown restaurant: bright, energetic, clean, and modern. Great spot for a filling and delicious meal in downtown Honolulu.“

“There is seating and you can bring about four or five people per table. There’s also seating outside. It’s a really cool area of dying with family, friends or coworkers and also there is parking lots of parking right behind. It is literally connected within the storage building. literally it is located across McKinley high school’s football field. It is such a jam. They have really good fish there. The ambience is calm. It’s pretty quiet and next-door they have other high-end restaurants. This is a really good area to be in if you want to hang out with people visiting and or just bonding.“

“My first time here after seeing them on tv. So glad the worker tied the bag of my 3 plates tightly and that they use strong plastic containers. I took a sharp turn and my bag flipped to the side. My food shifted a little in the container, but at least it didn’t spill out or leak out of the containers. Love the hamburger steak with crispy onions! Omg, the special parmesan chicken was huge!! This was ono too. Will definitely go back there again. ❤️“

“I loved the super fresh salad that came with the vegetarian eggs Benedict. Everything was prepared to perfection. The acoustics can make it hard to hear the person at the other end of the table. Totally enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere of being surrounded by exquisite art in a nice setting. Great service. Do make reservations to guarantee you get in.“

“I found this restaurant by chance. I was taking my son to a tuxedo fitting at Men's Warehouse right next door when I noticed this gem. The food here has great flavor and definitely does not feel like something that was rushed, but actually made with care for the presentation and flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and clean. We ordered the regular pho, Bun Bo Hue, and steamed lemongrass clams (thai chili). Again, great flavor, fresh garnished and would definitely recommend for anyone in the mood for some great Vietnamese cuisine!“

“I went to several great poke places during my trip to Hawaii, and this one was by far the best. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. They say they don't use frozen fish, so the tuna sashimi was so fresh and the seasoning was perfect, making it the best. Even my 11-year-old son enjoyed it very much!
The owner, Tommy, was very pleasant and friendly.

We asked for recommendations since we have never been and he pointed out all of his favorites menu items. They are responsive to large groups who gather to eat as well as have short meetings during their time there. And, use of their robots to carry the meals to the table saves the wait staff's backs!“

I got the Fujiyama Champon which is their largest portioned Champon. It is loaded and you need to be hungry for it. I must admit that I had big eyes when I ordered it and couldn't finish it. What I like most about order Champon is that it is made fresh, packed with lots of veggies, not oily or heavy, and tastes great. Much rather have this then Ramen which is just noodles, an oily and salty broth, and a some meat. Being that this is in the mall food court, it isn't exactly going to be the type of place that has a bend of backwards type of service, but they are friendly for the most part and get your order right.“

“Located just steps from the Paradise Pool at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, we decided to grab a burger from Ali’s since I didn’t want to go too far and leave the kids behind.

One burger was $30, and adding fries was another $3, so the total came to about $35 before tip. Honestly, it was probably the most expensive burger I’ve ever had in my life.

To be fair, it tasted pretty good, but unfortunately the kids didn’t like it. And considering the price, I probably won’t be coming back.“
