“Last year I had the chance to vacation in Hawaii and it was absolutely amazing. One of the best culinary discoveries was Marugame Udon. Their homemade noodles are of unparalleled quality and freshness. Each bowl was a delight, full of authentic flavors.
The welcome is warm and the staff is always ready to help, which makes the experience even more pleasant. I loved being able to customize my dish with various toppings, making each meal unique.
The heavenly beaches, majestic volcanoes and spectacular sunsets made this stay unforgettable. Hawaii remains one of my most treasured vacation memories. ??
If you have the chance to visit Hawaii, I highly recommend going to Marugame Udon for an unforgettable dining experience! ?✨“

“This is a takeaway lunch restaurant with public seating outside. The portions were generous for the price and there is enough variety to have something for everyone.
Vegetarian options: They sell salads
Parking: There are parking garages nearby but they all charge“
“Come here almost everyday for the last month as my job relocated me here to the Ala Moana center, Jessica is always happy with a smile on her face, which is good to see because there’s not many like that. 10/10 customer service. Thank you guys!“

“Their sushi cake exceeded our expectations. It was so delicious and almost too pretty to eat! The 2 guys working when I picked up were awesome! Super friendly and one even took the time to show me the cake and gave tips on how to cut and eat it! Their customer service from ordering to pick up was exceptional!“

“Pls don't take our food away when we are not finished, or in middle of conversation. Pls remember you are not serving well when you take away our Not-empty-plate, don't even ask us "did you finish?" when the plate were still left food, or customer still has utensils on their hand. We do not want to be disturbed by waiters those "unmanned action" which was annoying in such beautiful restaurant.“

“My first time here after seeing them on tv. So glad the worker tied the bag of my 3 plates tightly and that they use strong plastic containers. I took a sharp turn and my bag flipped to the side. My food shifted a little in the container, but at least it didn’t spill out or leak out of the containers. Love the hamburger steak with crispy onions! Omg, the special parmesan chicken was huge!! This was ono too. Will definitely go back there again. ❤️“

“We got super volcano roll and chicken teriyaki bowl. The roll was big and flavorful but the bowl was a letdown. We had to mix wasabi from the sushi into the bowl to add flavor. But maybe our bad for ordering chicken from a fish market.
If you are looking for good sushi then it’s a good place!“

“Horror review of jolene's by the Honolulu international airport. This place is really easy to find if you can see the building with the big mural of the whales? It's right across the street from them on Ualena Street. You can't go wrong with barbecue brisket.
I tried the tuna melt. I thought it was okay not great but the fries like waffle fries are very crispy I like those. The papa smokes Burger is a double burger with a slice of beef brisket on it. It is a meal and a half you will not be hungry for dinner after that.
Definitely it's a hole in a wall right now but it's a nice place great food you got to check it out.

“Chicken sandwich is fire, burgers are pretty good, the cheesesteak could be better, but in think there should just do an inner layer of the cheese whiz. But the chicken sandwich, was bogo on uber eats and the best deal I’ve gotten on uber eats so far. It’s so good. The hot honey old bay. Is amazing“

“Although we only used it to have lunch at the cafe, we were able to see some parts of the facility. It incorporates elements from other cultures, such as a Chinese-style garden and an Islamic-style garden, and although it's not that large, it feels like you've wandered into a European city rather than Hawaii.
The staff were all friendly, and the security guard told me that it was OK to park on the street in front of the museum on Sundays.
The cafe is open-style with a view of the courtyard, and the breeze blowing through is pleasant. We had steak, salad, sandwiches, and gelato, and all of them were authentic and tasted great.“

“The New York steak was out of this world. Incredibly tender and flavorful, it was cooked to our desired doneness. The pasta I ordered, chicken anchovy olio, i feel was good but could use more flavor. I won't be ordering this again, since it gave me a bit of acid reflux. Perhaps due to the amount of oil in the recipe? Definitely will return but I will order something else.“

“A very pleasant surprise here. Don’t let its name fool you as it serves a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes, mostly of Cantonese variety, but also some Shanghainese and Szechuan dishes. We had the ginger/onion chicken (similar to Hainan chicken) and beef with bitter melon. Both were very tasty and sizes were quite large. We will try its noodles on our next visit. The proprietor who also served as the cook was very friendly and efficient. A definitely worth future visits.
Vegetarian options: Like any legitimate Chinese restaurant, one can order different stir fried fresh vegetables.
Parking: There are a few spaces directly in front of the restaurant and there’s a sign that says more parking in the back
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“

“Update: So I ordered again to give the place another try. I ordered a salmon bowl again. I asked again for no sauce, in much more specific terms and hoped for the best. They came through this time and I was able to enjoy the food without worrying, so I'm very happy. It was yummy, but I did notice the sprouts and cucumbers were missing. These were listed in the base ingredients for the bowl, which is why I didn't request them as an add-on. It's a pretty pricey meal, so please remember to include everything next time.
Original review: I just ordered a bowl from here. In my order, I explicitly asked for no sauce on or in my bowl, both by choosing the "no sauce" option and by writing "no sauce" in the request section. Also asked for no fried onions. I can't have the sauce or the onions because I'm on a strict, doctor-ordered low sodium diet. The food gets here and it's slathered in sauce, fried onions everywhere.“
“Island Burgers has some of the best burgers and sandwiches in town at bargain prices. The Farmer's Market comes every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Manoa School of Music & the Arts offers high-quality music lessons, in addition to art, tango and zumba classes.“

“It’s always a challenge to find vegan and gluten free but Leahi Health Kaimuki is always one of our stops when we are visiting family here. The ingredients are always fresh. My favorites are the breakfast tacos, beet poke and the green monster smoothie. My husband loves the rainbow tacos. Note: typically items are served on a pita bread but you can request tacos (local tortillas) for the gluten free option. There is a small area for outdoor seating and inside for air conditioning.“

“I went to several great poke places during my trip to Hawaii, and this one was by far the best. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. They say they don't use frozen fish, so the tuna sashimi was so fresh and the seasoning was perfect, making it the best. Even my 11-year-old son enjoyed it very much!
The owner, Tommy, was very pleasant and friendly.
I was so sad that I visited on the last day. I definitely recommend it.“

“Good chicken, Just ordered a whole chicken plate, Had them chop the chicken in pieces which cost a $1 more. BUT!! After I left to my office to eat I notice my chicken wasn’t hot. Literally within 5mins of leaving but my food ain’t hot. Y’all literally just pulled the chicken out the fridge and warmed it up. I literally thought I was paying for a HOT PLATE.“
“We attended a drag brunch and the entire experience was fantastic. The service was A+; all the servers were exceptionally polite and efficient, the food was pretty good - 4 star, not 5 star, but much better than a typical bench buffet and frankly, much better than I had expected. The prime rib was very good and the shrimp was perfect. Crab legs were hard to open and eat, but other food/sides were good and desserts were delicious. And drag show was excellent - lots of fun and highly recommended.“
“Simple and very delicious Italian food. The pizza and pasta with a choice of combinations are both delicious. I think this is the taste that Japanese people like. The portions are about Japanese size, so if you want to eat a lot, you might have to order sometime.“

“It is hard to get a good meal in the mall's food court, but I must say that the Champon here is very good and a healthier option that fills you up and is tasty as well. I got the Fujiyama Champon which is their largest portioned Champon. It is loaded and you need to be hungry for it. I must admit that I had big eyes when I ordered it and couldn't finish it. What I like most about order Champon is that it is made fresh, packed with lots of veggies, not oily or heavy, and tastes great. Much rather have this then Ramen which is just noodles, an oily and salty broth, and a some meat. Being that this is in the mall food court, it isn't exactly going to be the type of place that has a bend of backwards type of service, but they are friendly for the most part and get your order right.“

“This Plate lunch restaurant in Aiea is worth the visit. Clean dining room with simple inside outside seating. The highlights for me is that I had their Combo plate with hamburger steak with gravy, teriyaki beef and your choice of curry beef stew or just beef stew. I impressed with the hamburger patties they formed and made in house. They grilled my teriyaki to perfection (which there was some charring on the edges, the beef stew had some huge beefy chunks and giant carrots and potatoes. The Mac salad was perfect not to much mayonnaise and any kine vegetables or tuna. No need that stuff in Mac salad? I remember a place I went in the past and they had tuna in their Mac and they didn’t tell my friend who is allergic to tuna, brah he was out from work for 2 weeks because he had a reaction. People were telling him to sue but he chose to live through it then he told them what happened. Luckily the restaurant changed their preparation for Mac and chose to make a side order preparation with tuna.
Well this restaurant has a basic prep without tuna. My only wish for this place is I wished they focused on making and offering different kinds of Loco moco with salted cabbage or kimchi. Like a beef stew moko, laulau moko with or without gravy, even a Katsu moko, or a teriyaki moco. They should just be simply creative. It’s in their name and they should specialize in it. I’d probably come in for a Kalua pig loco moko if they made a pork gravy. Actually I’d probably come back for that I’ll ask for the gravy. Plus they should make their own beef gravy because I can definitely taste the packet gravy they serving or they can add some beef bullion to make it beefier.“
“It's my neighborhood so I use it often. This is a Whole Foods store in Kahala Mall, right next to Whole Foods, and although it looks like a pub at first glance, the food is delicious. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy just the food without having to order alcohol. The daily menu is a great deal!I often go on ?Taco Tuesday on Tuesdays. The store opens at 1pm in the afternoon.“
“The space is really good. The food was really good in my taste. I wish they had some toddler type foods but then again you're paying by event. They usually accommodate to the party. The people are friendly to work with. I love that Samoan lady who helped us ??“
“Yea and NO- Beware! The 3 of us decided for the second time to go to Kakaako Farmers Market instead of KCC, and go earlier this time to get the best chance at items we really wanted. The expensive ($5) dripped coffee was excellent at one Makai vendor, as was the tomato, mushroom, goat cheese with pesto omelette, and the venison at Forage, but 2 other Makai side vendors, both bakers very purposely sold us a large burnt sour dough loaf (gave us one already hidden in a paper bag after our selection) , and burnt mini custard cakes, both with some little bait and switch tricks-so beware that there are quite shameful “who seemed nice” vendors here too. Over to the Mauka side, in the first row we we found Ma Farms organic produce and picked up great tomatoes, cucumber, and lettuces there, some nice croissants, and other baked goods from the baker next to Ma’s, and some great local honey just beyond them. Then we just missed getting fresh non-commercial local eggs (our main purpose for this trip) in the second row Mauka side. In the back row we found a few produce vendors who obviously were selling a mix of local farm, with non-organic local and commercial produce. So some hit and miss, along with a few unscrupulous vendors, so enjoy yourselves but beware (especially trusting kapuna or tourists) and carefully check any packaged goods that could be burnt or spoiled, before you walk away from any vendor here. Not all is as it seems at Kakaako Farmers Market, but there are real gems here to be appreciated.“

“I have used 808 Meal Prep for about a month now, and I am so thankful I found them! I am a personal trainer and a busy mom, so finding the time to prep all my food and calculate my macros was taking time away from my business and my family. 808 gave me back the time, I don't have to plan food every 3-5 days anymore and we actually saving money not going to get food to-go. The chicken carbonara is my absolute favorite! Mahalo 808 Meal Prep! My delivery drivers are always very sweet, I appreciate you guys.“

“Kyra I. re-defined customer service for my family! She was very welcoming, attentive and very personable. She was attentive to our tables needs and was on top of it, regardless of the busy fall break dinner rush on a Wednesday evening. She even gave us best directions back to our vehicle since the mall was closed down. 10/10 recommend, I hope her bosses see this because she is AMAZING!“

“If you want to stay down waikiki this is a great option. Right at the bottom of the area, you feel a little removed which is nice. Only a short walk and you hit the main "strip", but in the hilton you feel that peaceful hawaiin vibe. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the facilities are great. Especially the gym which has a good amount of equipment. The beach even has green sea turtles who sometimes visit ! That was amazing to see as a trip to see them may run you $300. There's lots of food options here and also an ABC which has lots of affordable grab and go food if you don't want to constantly break the bank. My only issue is the resort fee. You will be charged $50 PER DAY, so please take this into account when you book at this price is NOT included and you can get a nasty surprise on check out. I personally think this should be incoperated in the price as many of the things listed in what you get for the resort fee would be free in good hotels anyway. Other than this it is still a great value hotel for the area with lots in reach“
