My salads were ready quickly which was great because our lunch break was only 30 minutes. Today the lettuce was fresh and the salads were delicious! Definitely plan to return. Sometimes, they can get busy which tells you that the food is GOOD! So ordering ahead makes things easier for me. Their website is straight forward, easy to navigate.

“The luau itself was great. The only issues we had were check in and the bar. Check in could and should have been more streamlined. It seemed like it was the first time they ever did this event because they were clueless on how to check everyone in and get us inside. And the bar line was nuts. If everyone has a free drink ticket, those drinks should have been ready to go and not at the same line as paid drinks. Missed all the beginning activities due to the line. Food and luau itself were amazing. All the food was unbelievably good. That line flew and getting seconds was easy and encouraged. The show was fantastic! The chief's commentary was hilarious and everyone with us enjoyed the show!“

Other items I highly recommend especially are Stir Fried Chow Fun with Shrimp, Crab Fried Rice,Khao So, and the Pineapple Curry with Duck. Make sure to save room for the Roti with Vanilla Ice Cream . It’s that good.

“Tiny but mighty for sure!! You know it's amazing when the menu covers the wall!! Local specialties like the Loco Moco and Mac nut waffle are a must try!! The portions are huge! Definitely shareable. Upgrade your dish with their fried rice!! The malasada pancakes were quite popular, but i chose the waffle instead. There is a line and place is a hole in the wall type of restaurant, but it does go fast. The girls are excellent waitresses and they are constantly keeping the place clean which is a huge plus for me! They have nice music too. Parking is a bit hit and miss since there are other businesses in the same center, but you'll find something. They do not have a restroom. There is a shared one in the building though.“

The portions were very generous, and the small loaf of fresh warm bread was amazing. I forgot to take photos before digging in, but it was a to-go order anyway.“

“I went to several great poke places during my trip to Hawaii, and this one was by far the best. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. They say they don't use frozen fish, so the tuna sashimi was so fresh and the seasoning was perfect, making it the best. Even my 11-year-old son enjoyed it very much!
The owner, Tommy, was very pleasant and friendly.

I ordered broiled saba(mackerel) teishoku. The skin was crispy, the fish was fluffy and had a rich, oily flavor. It even came with grated daikon, and the miso soup was delicious.

“Went there on Monday about 930a. Located in the Kapolei market place, so there's lots of free parking. There's seating area, however for me, it's more a pick and go. Very organized and clean... which i like. I purchased futomaki (a little wet but the sushi rice flavor i like), karaage squid (good flavor but not hot) and manapua (bread to meat ratio good, flavor good but meat a little hard). I would actual go here again for a quick flavor of okazuya.“

“I only found out about Wai Kai a month ago after a friend bought a condo nearby. Since that time, my family and I have been back numerous times to eat at all of their restaurants and attend their Farmer's market. All of the food is outstanding which is why we even went back twice in one day to eat at 2 of their restaurants. They have amazing staff from their manager, Keith, their cooks, and their waiters and waitresses. This place is a hidden gem because it's a family friendly place that has the atmosphere of Waikiki without the crime or crowds. Both kids and adults can come and have a great time whether it's doing a water sport, eating in one of their excellent restaurants, or relaxing on their lawn during the Farmer's market where they have a wide variety of food and local products to choose from.“

“Ruby Tuesday in the Moanaloa shopping center is fantastic. A lot of military members and their families eat there. They are responsive to large groups who gather to eat as well as have short meetings during their time there. And, use of their robots to carry the meals to the table saves the wait staff's backs!“

“Decided to try their açai bowl after having walked past this place for quite a few times. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a gentleman. He was very personable, kind and patient. I asked about the açai bowl specifically he showed me the size that it would be in and how much it would have on the inside. I told him I’d be back after my walk.
I came back and he said oh I remember you and I said yes I came back to order the açai bowl.
The cost was 10.99$ including tax.
It has the açai on the bottom about an inch deep pre-frozen, which he told me about prior to serving me… then there’s a layer of really good crunchy granola, a smidgen of shredded coconut, some banana, blueberry and strawberry slices. Topped off by a hefty drizzle of honey.
It really tasted delicious and the honey was very tasty.
I would recommend this place. They have lots of options much more than I mentioned here.“
