My salads were ready quickly which was great because our lunch break was only 30 minutes. Today the lettuce was fresh and the salads were delicious! Definitely plan to return. “6/6/2026….Woooww! Picked up our order on the way to a friend’s house up the road and we all dug in right away…didn’t even take pics. Next time. It was a noisy lunch with all 4 of us OOOOOing and OMGing throughout our meal. I had the Sake Garlic Shrimp plate and OMG (lol), it was so full of flavor, and I have never seen so much shrimp on a plate lunch, like ever!! It looked like more shrimp than in the pic on the menu.
I had a taste of everyone’s plate and everything was super delicious. I’m gonna have the chicken katsu next time. It was crunchy and yummy. Definitely gonna be going back…soon. The staff were so sweet and welcoming! Wish we had one on the windward side.“

“It was just okay. The flight of pancakes looked amazing, but it tasted just OK. None of the toppings really had a standout flavor. The ube had no taste, except the pancake itself which was chocolate tasted of generic chocolate. The other 2 were a bit yummier, but had an undercooked taste, like raw dough. It seemed cooked throughout, despite that taste. We also ordered waffles, and that was much better tasting. Service was decent, the young lady serving us was kind enough to replace my coffee after a bug flew in it. Food came out pretty fast as well. Price is fair for Hawaii.“

“I went to several great poke places during my trip to Hawaii, and this one was by far the best. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. They say they don't use frozen fish, so the tuna sashimi was so fresh and the seasoning was perfect, making it the best. Even my 11-year-old son enjoyed it very much!
The owner, Tommy, was very pleasant and friendly.
I was so sad that I visited on the last day. I definitely recommend it.“

“Ahhh I really love the bento from this place!
I ordered broiled saba(mackerel) teishoku. The skin was crispy, the fish was fluffy and had a rich, oily flavor. It even came with grated daikon, and the miso soup was delicious.
It felt just like a Japanese bento! I’ll definitely be back. Arigato!“

“Went there on Monday about 930a. Located in the Kapolei market place, so there's lots of free parking. There's seating area, however for me, it's more a pick and go. Very organized and clean... which i like. I purchased futomaki (a little wet but the sushi rice flavor i like), karaage squid (good flavor but not hot) and manapua (bread to meat ratio good, flavor good but meat a little hard). I would actual go here again for a quick flavor of okazuya.“

“Assaggio in Kapolei always has delicious and visually appealing food. The service is courteous, and they strive to provide a friendly atmosphere. The Bread is unbelievable I have to stop after the second basket due to the food I ordered. I tried the New York steak medium rare and the Shrimp Scampi. “I'm so glad Loco Moco Drive Inn opened Kapahulu. Right there in front Safeway. So delicious, convenient and super nice people. Got the best local & Chinese-style foods on island in my opinion. “I only found out about Wai Kai a month ago after a friend bought a condo nearby. Since that time, my family and I have been back numerous times to eat at all of their restaurants and attend their Farmer's market. All of the food is outstanding which is why we even went back twice in one day to eat at 2 of their restaurants. They have amazing staff from their manager, Keith, their cooks, and their waiters and waitresses. This place is a hidden gem because it's a family friendly place that has the atmosphere of Waikiki without the crime or crowds. Both kids and adults can come and have a great time whether it's doing a water sport, eating in one of their excellent restaurants, or relaxing on their lawn during the Farmer's market where they have a wide variety of food and local products to choose from.“

“Ruby Tuesday in the Moanaloa shopping center is fantastic. A lot of military members and their families eat there. They are responsive to large groups who gather to eat as well as have short meetings during their time there. And, use of their robots to carry the meals to the table saves the wait staff's backs!“

“I purchased the Lobster and Seafood sub. The seafood was not stale, It was pretty good, and I enjoyed it. I ordered Guatemala with it, but there was not much placed on it. Overall, it was a good place to purchase food. The place is clean but there is only one worker so if there are many people, you have to wait. I will definitely go back for the Lobster Sub.“

“We visited this place twice within a week or two. Both times we had the snow crab legs in butter garlic sauce. We also had the garlic fries and kuala pork quesadillas, which was very good. The service was friendly and attentive. The place was noisy from the TVs even though there were only two other tables (both visits). I’m sure there are other better places for crabs, but you can always find a table here and price was near reasonable.“

Our favorite starters is always the egg rolls even my picky eaters love that. Can't go wrong with chicken, bacon and cheese.
