“There is seating and you can bring about four or five people per table. There’s also seating outside. It’s a really cool area of dying with family, friends or coworkers and also there is parking lots of parking right behind. It is literally connected within the storage building. literally it is located across McKinley high school’s football field. It is such a jam. They have really good fish there. The ambience is calm. It’s pretty quiet and next-door they have other high-end restaurants. This is a really good area to be in if you want to hang out with people visiting and or just bonding.“

“My first time here after seeing them on tv. So glad the worker tied the bag of my 3 plates tightly and that they use strong plastic containers. I took a sharp turn and my bag flipped to the side. My food shifted a little in the container, but at least it didn’t spill out or leak out of the containers. Love the hamburger steak with crispy onions! Omg, the special parmesan chicken was huge!! We can almost always find what we are looking for including gifts from local artists and made quite a few friends with some of the vendors. There is something for everyone. “Two co-workers and I were at Whole Foods and decided to try An Di Dzo for lunch. I ordered a French 75, a cocktail consisting of London Dry Gin, Sparkling wine, lemon juice and simple syrup ($15) while we perused the menu.

I had Vermicelli Cold Noodle with spring roll and pork (Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio, $19.50), Number 17 at our favorite place on Smith and Hotel Streets. Another chose Chicken Pho (Mien Ga, $17.75) while the third tried the Vietnamese Beef Stew (Bo Kho, $19.75). We split a Classic Combo Banh Mi ($15.50).

My vermicelli dish was fine, on par with the one at P** V******, but maybe not as good as the one at K*** V********* C******. I didn’t hear any complaints about the Mien Ga. The Beef Stew was petite but came with two large pieces of toasted baguette.
I was disappointed in the banh mi … the baguette felt stale and there weren’t enough pickled vegetables (do chua) and cilantro for me. I can get a better banh mi for $11 elsewhere.

What did I think? The food was okay, but we could get comparable dishes for less money at three places in Chinatown. I was hoping for more … As such, a rating of 3.75.

Postscript: The co-worker that ate the beef stew suffered from intestinal distress for the remainder of the afternoon. He was the only one to use the raw basil and bean sprouts. I was fine, as was the other person in our party.“

“I went to several great poke places during my trip to Hawaii, and this one was by far the best. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. They say they don't use frozen fish, so the tuna sashimi was so fresh and the seasoning was perfect, making it the best. Even my 11-year-old son enjoyed it very much!
The owner, Tommy, was very pleasant and friendly.
