“This is hands down one of the best hangout spots in the area! The atmosphere is adorable, spacious, and versatile~! Perfect for catching up with friends, getting some work done, or just relaxing.

The Menu: Massive selection! I tried the Mango Charm and it was fantastic. They even have soufflé pancakes, which is a rare and delicious find.

The Perks: They’ve thought of everything, free 1 hour parking, fast WiFi, and plenty of power outlets. The board games are a lovely touch that makes the space feel so welcoming.

The Service: The staff is incredibly patient and friendly; they really helped me navigate the large menu when I couldn't decide.

The boba (we got jasmine milk tea and matcha milk tea) was fresh and the boba was soft and chewy- you can taste the tea. I recommend getting 25% sweetness if you like it not too sweet though.

Give them credit for providing comfortable chairs. Pro Tip #1: Adjust the sweetness level to your preference. I like my milk tea at only 20% sugar level, so I can taste the tea flavor more. Pro Tip 2: Pick up your lunch or snack at nearby Safeway, then come here to relax with a nice drink 😋😊“

“It was alright. I got the Hojicha Milk Tea with boba at 50% sweet. The hojicha flavor came through nicely, and the bobas were pretty good. The main gripe for me related to the size:price ratio. The “small”size here seems to be approximately equivalent to the “regular” at other boba places, but it’s appears to be a bit smaller than expected while being slightly more expensive than usual. I guess that’s what happens when you get boba in Kahala.“

“I initially walked to Bishop Square for a different café, but I couldn’t help but notice the delicious smell of Vietnamese food coming from Teapresso! I ordered the BBQ lemongrass chicken Banh Mi & Thai tea and both were delicious!

I have sensitive teeth and so banh mis are always a toss up for me, but their bread had a nice thin crispy layer on the outside and soft on the inside. Super good!

There’s outdoor public seating within Bishop Square that you can sit and enjoy. Easy and convenient location if you work/live in downtown.“

“OMG what a sleeper foodie find! I was looking for a quick lunch place in the shopping center and thought I’d just grab a quick bento to go from this place… no way, once inside there’s so much more than sushi!

I perused the large sushi menu for a while before finally deciding on an already made bento of salmon collar. They offered a side of rice to go with it but I decided to go with cucumber sushi instead. I couldn’t help but look in their pastry fridge and immediately decided I had to have dessert - a super cute pair of lemon and strawberry tarts.

They also make boba tea to order, and offer a variety of desserts, from mango panna cotta to bagged cookies - feed that sweet tooth while you grab lunch or dinner!

So excited to find this place - you could bring a small or large group here, there’s great seating inside the restaurant.

This is a great place for a mid day, mid week date. It was quiet and not crowded. The noise level was good for a soft conversation. This being said, if you are in a relationship now is the time to slow down have a tea and a pastry and talk about the future.

Some of the nice parts of this place is that it's enclosed, has air conditioning and no birds running around eyeballing your food.(You know what I mean)

The food is good and at a level that will keep you coming back. This pastry is far superior to Liliha bakery, don't go there come here. This food is not as good as Patisserie La Palme D'or. But! It is still worth a visit and a return visit.

“A hidden gem on the campus of University of Hawaii located at the student center. I had low expectations considering that it's on campus but I was pleasantly surprised that the drink was good and reasonably priced.There may be a line depending on what time you come, especially during lunch hours. But the staff were extremely fast and efficient, you could be in and out within 5 mins if you come during off peak times.“

“What a sweet treat! Absolutely LOVE the lemon slushy, if you're a lemon lover. The milk tea (classic) with salted cheese sounded odd, but was surprisingly good; it makes it a bit creamier, and not salty at all. The ube is great, but I'm not a big fan of the puff, as it makes it a little grainy. They had a very happy vibe here, highly recommended!“

“This is our favorite location. Close to home and everyone so nice. My favorite flavor right now is the Watermelon Breeze. So refreshing and so good. Lots of parking most of the time. My son loves loves loves the strawberry energizer. I usually get the Asai supercharger thick (so think it may break the machine one day 🤣). Come down!“

But at Kamʻs the bathroom door is on lockdown now and requires a keycode = so pay attention when they tell it to you, because it can be tricky for newbs. ALSO sometimes they forget to offer fortune cookies and chopsticks and hot sauce, unless you ask them. AND if theyʻre busy: the soda machine, the trash cans, and the napkins could all use help. But at least they keep the place clean.“

They have a frozen durian topping for just $4 which was so exciting, I got it in a bowl on the side, it's hard to find plain durian at all, so I was very excited to get a bowl of it for so cheap. The drinks are a bit pricier but pretty delicious, I got a mango green tea and coconut milk boba. The boba and lychee jelly were both great. The inside is a bit of a work in progress, it all looks very new, better to grab and go. The staff was nice, you can order on a kiosk or with people.“

“It’s a pretty basic meal not the fanciest but a great bargain for Waikiki. I ordered though Uber eats and got the spicy shrimp with crispy chicken under a two for one deal. It was $20 for two plates, which is unheard of in Waikiki nowadays.“
