About Leilani Taiwanese Kitchen

Leilani Taiwanese Kitchen, formerly known as Dragon Tea, is a casual dining spot in Honolulu that offers a delightful selection of authentic Taiwanese food and drinks. The restaurant is praised for its comforting beef noodle soup, particularly the tomato beef noodle soup, which many visitors find reminiscent of the flavors in Taiwan. Other popular menu items include pan-fried dumplings, popcorn chicken, and chicken skewers, ensuring there's something for everyone.

The honeydew with fresh milk drink and honeydew slush are highly recommended, with many guests appreciating the balanced sweetness of the drinks. Customers note the food's freshness, particularly the handmade dumplings and the minced pork rice. The owner is described as friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

Parking is available on-site and in a nearby lot, though some diners suggest alternative parking if the main lot is full. While the restaurant offers genuine Taiwanese comfort food, a few reviews mention a cooking oil smell, possibly due to kitchen ventilation. Overall, Leilani Taiwanese Kitchen is celebrated for its quality, reasonable prices, and unique food selection, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
