This is a great place for that authentic old school Chinese food all locals have grown up with. We don't go here for friendly customer service but for the food. This is coming from a family that has been going here for decades and know the people that work there. We love everything on their menu. Recommend the roast duck and fried rice. Perfection.
Great as a go to for takeout, They have a variety of rice plates n addition to the normal fare. Lots of seating but not the greatest for attention from the servers. But the food is delicious! They have decent parking parking with street parking as needed. They also have an array of crack seed. They're King Sweet Li Hing Mui is the best! Ample seating inside. And its great for small groups and large groups.

restaurant's been there for decades !!! always see it in passing & wonder how food is ?our group of classmates enjoyed ono lunch yesterday ? scallop soup, black bean spareribs, gon lo mein, crispy chicken, honey walnut ? , sea bass.next time going up School St. may not just pass by Golden City ?Parking: restaurant has about 10 spaces. only 1/2 of our kupuna group (4 cars) got parking at lunchtime. street parking available in 1 block area on School & Houghtailing (below School)...read full review
