“Pai Cafe Coffee & Acai Bowls is more than just a coffee shop; it's a delightful community hub. My husband and I grabbed a classic, bold Cold Brew and the velvet cream cold brew to go after our lunch. Their cold brew is phenomenal and very strong just on its own. I altered mine by adding 1/2 of the cold foam and it was the perfect amount of coffee flavor with a hint of vanilla. I bet their acai is amazing as well, just too full from lunch. The phenomenal treats, quality, friendly service, and warm atmosphere guarantees a great experience. Will definetly come back. Please don't leave without trying their signature velvet cream!“

“This place was recommended by a foodie friend of mine so I expected it to be good, but no, good doesn’t do it justice. The oat milk latte was glorious and the mango scone delicate, very lightly sweet and the perfect accompaniment to the latte. Service was friendly and helpful.“
“My wife and I went here both days we were in Oahu. The service was rather quick, and pleasant. Both days, I got a cappuccino with macadamia nut syrup or foam or something. It was extremely delicious. I forgot what my wife got, but she liked them both.“

“This shop is always rotating roasters and coffees they offer. I ordered a pour over with notes of cherry from their adventurous section of the menu (it was very cherry) at the bar and the friendly, knowledgeable baristas brought it to where I was sitting. Good spot to try something new.“

“We had gone to the “Coffee and Matcha Fest” and it was severely disappointing. So, we left and came here instead. We were blown away! Great coffee, fantastic matcha, and incredible flavors. Be warned, parking is sparse but it is worth the walk.“

“The coffee here is delicious! They used Honolulu Coffee beans, which they also sell. Coffee was great. Wildflower honey latte was lightly sweet and had a good taste. Drip coffee had a delightful aroma too and was well made.
2 tables and benches for seating. As well as 2 counter height seats with an outside view of the street.
Connected to the Hi Climb gym. A spot where a lot of gym goers grab snacks and coffee. Kitchen can get backed up as there was only one person taking orders, making food and coffee! If you go here on a weekend morning, be prepared to be patient for your order - we waited about 20 minutes, which is understandable as they take a lot of orders and drip coffee takes time!“

“YUMMMMM!! This coffee shop is not only beautiful, but they have a large, unique menu with lots of local Hawaiian flavors. I left with two of their syrups to bring home. You can sub matcha for espresso in any drink for no upcharge, which I thought was cool. Street parking available.“

The local breakfast sandwich, croissantwich and Breakfast Burrito and so delicious, but my favorite by far is the Lomi Salmon Bagel....I crave it!!!!! Highly recommend!“

“Cute little coffee shop/bar combo in the lobby of Queen Kapiʻolani Hotel. The employee was super helpful with answering questions we had about their menu and adjusting sweetness levels of our drinks. We ordered an iced mango peach tea (unsweetened) and a breezy brown sugar latte (half sweetness). Both drinks were delicious! They also had plenty of food options as well. I would stop by again even if I wasn't staying at the hotel.“

“My friend and I went to Rise the other week for a late lunch, and I'm so glad we did. I really appreciated the low-key and comfortable vibe of the space. The upstairs adds a lot of extra room and every table is positioned to offer privacy. I don't eat Keto all the time, but the chicken and chaffles had a lot of really good flavor and I did not miss the sugar or wheat flour. It also felt really good to know that I was eating something healthy, without having to worry about the ingredients. Our food and drinks were prepared promptly, and I thought everyone there was friendly. The real winner for me was the mac nut latte. It is gritty (with chopped macadamia nuts) which surprised me at first, but I liked it because it added to the nutty flavor. I find myself still thinking about it. I like my coffee strong, and I love the flavor of mac nuts so this is a winner in my book. I work nearby, and am glad Rise is there because there aren't many good coffee houses in the area in my opinion - let alone one that offers fresh and healthy meal choices. I'm grateful Rise is in Kaimuki!“

“Daily Whisk = matcha heaven ☁️💚 I LOVE this place. Free parking right in front (though limited), otherwise you’ll need to pay to park at the lot across the street. Their matcha is chefs kiss 🤌🏽 - high quality, perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and they keep it authentic with the bamboo whisk. Their hojicha is also amazing and one of my favs to get on island! Lots of milk options (oat, almond, soy, etc.), some seating but no wifi. Definitely one of my favorite matcha spots in Honolulu for a clean, true-to-flavor cup!“
“The story of “the bean” is explained in their fine little museum on the premises. Comfortable sitting A great atmosphere.“

“I have lived right across from this coffee shop for over a year and I finally tried it. I read reviews about the Hawaiian latte and figured I would give it a try. Definitely delicious and I recommend. I will be back for sure to get that coffee again. I didn’t try any food. It was very quiet and only a couple people in there.“

“Got a super fast and delicious iced coffee with a splash of oat milk here for $4.25ish, pre-tip. Love the dark and full bodied flavor of their coffee beans :) Great spot to grab a quick drink. Will try their Thai coffee blends next time, and would be fun to see matcha on the menu one day!“

“The ultimate clean smoothie and crack seed place on a budget.I think I've easily found my #2 smoothie spot outside Lanikai juice and easily beats it for the value. While finding it off beretania is rough and parking even rougher (tight side alley action) the food and drinks are worth the wait. It's a legit hole in the wall run by a couple of aunties who are making clean and whole fruit smoothies in bulk it's insane. For a 32oz smoothie with any combo of fruit it's 10 bucks. Taste is super clean and you can actually taste the fruit chunks as you lap up this sleeper in your car. They also have a wide variety of crackseed stuff and gummies which I'd be down to try as the prices are quite reasonable. Easily a return spot !“

“Easy parking and a nice ambiance with a shaded patio. It’s a busy spot, so finding a table to work or study can be hit or miss. They offer good unsweetened iced tea in three flavors: black, hibiscus, and pineapple green. I didn’t try the food, but the bakery items and hot dishes sounded great.“

“Food was fresh and delicious. The produce they used was amazing quality. They have a lot of good options to choose from and the ordering process was quick and easy. My toddler who is in a picky eating phase loved their scrambled eggs and croffles. They also have the best matcha latte I've ever had, I believe they use a pandan syrup they make in house. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be returning.“

“This was my first time trying their afternoon tea, and my boyfriend and I had such a good experience. You can choose either two hot teas or one cold tea, we chose the two hot teas and tried Earl Grey, Marco Polo, and Afternoon in Paris. All of them were really good and so fragrant.
The food was beautiful and thoughtfully presented. Everything looked almost too pretty to eat! The staff took the time to explain each item to us, and they were all so kind and welcoming.
I was hoping they would have macarons, but I guess the menu changes regularly. Still, it was such a lovely experience overall. Definitely a must-visit if you want a cute and relaxing afternoon tea experience.“

“Good not great, matcha is pretty solid quality but the hojicha is just okay. It feels like more of an afterthought as it’s the less popular of the two. I do think the desserts are something I’d like to come back for though. I hope they source a better hojicha powder in the future for their lattes. Plenty of seating as well.“
