“Love it! Cute little coffee and on-the-go breakfast options. I had a toasted marshmallow latte with oatmilk, Good Life breakfast sandwich and a mango tajin lemonade. Everything was delicious! I wanted to try to mango tajin limeade, but they were out of the limeade so I settled for lemonade and it did not disappoint! I highly recommend.“

“Drove from Waikiki several times over my trip because this is seriously SO good. The tiramisu latte is the best latte I have ever had. Unfortunately, I told the cashier this information, and instead of being greeted with a simple thank you, I received the dirtiest look I have ever gotten in my entire life. Incredibly off putting“

“Love this place!! Always friendly service, good portions and a great variety to choose from. The blueberry, banana and chocolate chip pancakes are my weakness 🥞🥞🥞 Also love that they have online ordering for takeout —makes it easy when we have the dogs with us, or wanna grab something quick on the way to the beach! 🌊“

“Some of the best coffee / Cappuccino’s in Hawaii. The pastries are also great, with nice sitting areas in and out. Prices are fair for the island. Highly recommend it after watching the sun rise at Lanikai beach.“

“The Sunrise Shack is such a cool spot with an amazing location and great island vibes! Their turkey sandwich was fresh, delicious, and exactly what we needed. The papaya bowl was another highlight—unique, healthy, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious.
We also loved their focus on healthy eating and locally sourced ingredients. It’s the perfect place to stop for a wholesome meal in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!“

“I stopped coming here a few years ago because the staff was always so rude, but revisited a few times recently and noticed something has really changed. The team there now is so friendly and makes the drinks really well, making it a warm environment!“

“Fine location but a few limitations since they’re on base: You can earn stars here, but you cannot redeem them. You can use the Starbucks app to pay, but you cannot use it to order ahead of time.
Sometimes this location is out of a basic ingredient (like ice) and sometimes they don’t open until after the posted opening time.
Overall, a good Starbucks, but if you want a slightly better, more consistent experience, drive off base to the Aikahi location.“
