“My wife and I are visiting Hawaii from Canada. We just completed the Kailua Pillbox hike and thought we deserved a coffee and pastry. The cafe is warm and inviting and the young lady working the coffee bar was very pleasant and welcoming. The blueberry scones were delicious and the cappuccinos were the best we’ve ever tasted in the USA. Wait. That makes me sound like a coffee snob. Let me change that to, “I have never enjoyed a coffee more in the States!”“

“Lunch in Kailua, Oahu, Hawaii... I saw Amy Y.'s review & photos, and thought: I haven't been there... It's Thursday, my day in Kailua for mahjong... I should try it! There were many good things about this adventure: Parking is free on the street and behind the building. There's outside seating, indoor dining, and more seats upstairs! Service was friendly, helpful, and efficient! I was able to use the remainder of my Visa Gift Card (thank you, Donna O.), and paid the balance with credit card. The cashier brought my order to me, checked up on me, took my used dishes away, and helped me swipe my Gift Card in the machine... LOL... I'm not techie! Note: I also did bus my glass at the self-service area. The interior was colorful, spacious, and bright! I liked the wall mural, beach scene on the bench seating, and little wave on the corner of the table! The menu was not just crepes, but also smoothies, sandwiches, and more! Wow! I finally decided on a Baby Crepe with Bacon and garlic... it was DELICIOUS! The edges of the Crepe had a light crispness! MMM! I devoured it! I also got an Aloha Lemonade. It had mango and pineapple flavors that made the Lemonade very different and special! Thanks for a fun experience! I look forward to returning and trying everything on the menu!“

“I leave to the airport early tomorrow morning and wanted to get my last special oahu flavor coffee bean. I planed my afternoon around the hours posted online. It says that you guys close at 7 and showed up at 5:40 and you guys were closed. The sign on the door with the hours do not match online. Verrrrry sad and disappointed. “The Sunrise Shack lived up to all my expectations! We ordered the blue dream bowl and the tropical bowl. The blue dream bowl was fairly icy though still had a good flavor and fresh fruit. The tropical bowl was our favorite of the two. Super juicy pineapple topping and delicious mango flavor! Beware when exiting their store, the birds will swoop down and try to steal some of your bowl“
“The absolute best experience I’ve had at Starbucks! I didn’t catch their names but it was March 12 at aprox 12pm and the two baristas were the sweetest girls ever! “My wife ordered the avocado egg toast, a side of lox, and a spiced chai latte. I had the brew breakfast with a Maui Peaberry pour-over coffee. Both the food and drinks were excellent. However, I would rate this place four stars because while everything was good, I believe the food lacked a little something. If you live nearby, I would recommend giving this place a try. It's a very relaxed environment where many people are working on their computers or hanging out with friends.“
