I enjoy when the food is fresh - taste like farm to table kind of place - and folks love to where they work.“

“I met the family that ran this business in a festival and I absolutely love their food and what they’re striving. They use organic ingredients and are striving health conscious choices. “Came here recently and overall had a pretty solid experience. I’d give it a 4/5.

The portions are large, which is always a plus. The fried rice uses older rice so it’s nicely separated, but the flavor was just okay for me. I also tried the loco moco. The patty was a bit on the tougher side and lighter in flavor compared to other places, and overall it was a bit mid. It did have a strong mushroom taste, and the raw tomatoes and onions on top helped balance everything when you eat it together. The patty itself has a very beefy taste, if that makes sense.

The highlight for me was definitely the açaí bowl. It’s thick and slightly clumpy in a good way, almost like gelato. It comes with lots of fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey, and really good granola. Definitely the best thing on the menu.

Also worth noting, the place is mostly self serve. They ring you when your food is ready and you pick it up at the counter, and there’s a water station on the side. Bathrooms were clean too.“

“Wonderful and friendly. The waffles are some of the best I’ve ever had. The Kailua Pork Quesadilla was amazing as well. Manu was so friendly and after a nice conversation he gave a little speech and blew the conch as a blessing for our recent marriage.“

“This is honestly the best Açaí I’ve had on my trip between Oahu and Kauai (and I’ve tried a lot, including “best on the island” recommendations). The açaí was the perfect texture and tasted so good, the fruit was fresh and flavorful, and as you can see they don’t skimp on the honey.

I will say it’s kind of expensive (even comparatively), and the portion size is smaller than a lot of the bowls I’ve received elsewhere, but it’s worth it. I had this on my second day of vacation and I’ve talked about it pretty much every day since. If we had stayed in Waikiki, I would’ve gone more than once!“

“Great Food with a European influence of France and Spain. Cozy atmosphere and the Chef ZZ is very talented with many years of experience. It’s a little hidden gem and has elevator parking for your car in the back of the building or you can park in the Walmart lot. I very much recommend this place.“

I would not order the Asian dishes here like the Pad Thai or the curry (go to a Thai restaurant for that) if I were to do it again I would go for the specials at this restaurant like the Lamb Wellington. I would come back again, too bad it’s our last day here in paradise. I would recommend the lemon tart very good. The chocolate pyramid is nothing special, just mousse and chocolate cake. “This review is long due. Wanted to gatekeep this amazing cafe. It's actually inside Ala Moana Hotel, right before you get to the hotel gym. The cafe/bar was unassuming. I walked in for early breakfast. I was the only patron. Was greeted warmly and decided on Avacado Toast (dine in) and an Acai Bowl(to go)
Omg..the avacado toast was probably one of the best with the warm sourdough bread. It's the warm and cold, the crust that's crunchy with the avacado mush...it was flavorful and satisfying.
I bought the Acai Bowl for later and it was also beyond. The fruits are fresh and perfect match with the granola and honey. That combo made my day.“

“Everything! The staff are personable and professional! The food is tasty and reasonably priced. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. They have sports programs on television! “I have visited the Haleiwa location multiple times and it just hits the spot for unique gelato flavors! I also highly recommend any of the crepes ... and of course, the Ube Mochi waffle!!!
