This is the quintessential dive bar - in all the good ways. The food was good and the atmosphere was fantastic. And best of all, the waitress, Lillian, was the highlight. It was my birthday and she hunted down candles and was genuinely excited to “do something fun” for my birthday. She was attentive, enthusiastic, and a joy. ...despite the food being pretty good - made to feel that way from both the intoxicated owner and the slightly erratic, somewhat inappropriate waitress. I did have my mask off (bad me) in this way crowded, marginally nice-looking local place when I walked in. I was waiting by the register for someone to say something to me (for a while), and that waitress finally did by barking something about my mask being off (in a large room of mask-less people and without even looking at me)...read full review

Nice atmosphere with good service. The food was good but the kitchen could have done better at getting the 5 orders out closer together. Three came out at once and the other two dribbled in making an eating disconnect. Variety of choices both food and drink. Ate outside as it was a gorgeous day and we are in Hawaii.
