“I have been craving for the scones here for a while...finally made it here. There're quite some parking options around. Can also park just by the library across the street. I bought different flavors today: strawberry, mango, chocolate, blueberry and coffee. All were super tasty. Definitely coffee was my fav!“
“I wouldn't have been able to find this on my own, and by driving by it, because it is tucked in behind a store, so make sure you go exactly where the address is and park your car in the small parking lot and walk around. We ordered 6 donuts and it was made fresh to order, like it was still really hot in the box. Needless to say, this is probably the best malasadas I've had on the island, and don't get me wrong, Leonard's is good, but this one is better in my opinion. The bread is a bit more thick and mochi-like compared to other malasadas I've had. Also, there's only 1 flavor, meaning no filling, just sugar coated - my preference when it comes to malasadas. We ate this in the parking lot, and also had another one 6 hrs later at room temperature, and it was still good.“
“Lilikoi pancakes are delicious no matter when you eat them. Although the yen is cheap in Hawaii, it is easy on the wallet, and the locomoke was absolutely delicious.Kid-friendliness: There are seats for children too.I think orange juice is just right for children.“
“Great Harvest Bread Company is a pleasant stop for bread enthusiasts and those with a sweet tooth. This bakery, committed to crafting made-from-scratch baked goods with high-quality ingredients and freshly milled wheat daily, is a true gem in the heart of Kailua. On my recent visit, I couldn't resist buying a loaf of their renowned pumpkin chocolate chip quick bread, and it lived up to its reputation as their number one selling quick bread. The delicious blend of pumpkin and chocolate chips resulted in a moist and flavorful treat that was simply irresistible. We also indulged in the kulolo muffin and the pumpkin chocolate chip muffin, both showcasing a perfect harmony of flavors. The kulolo muffin, with its traditional base infused with taro and coconut, offered a unique and delicious twist. Not to be overlooked, the bacon cheddar chive biscuit was a savory delight, providing a satisfying balance to the sweet treats. The variety of baked goods at Great Harvest Bread Company ensures there's something to suit every palate. The service was not only friendly but impressively fast, allowing us to quickly pick our treats and be on our way. The location itself was inviting, clean, and bright, with a small seating area where you could enjoy your purchases. Parking on the street was a breeze, making the entire experience convenient and enjoyable. Walking into Great Harvest Bread Company was a delight as the air was filled with the enticing aroma of freshly baked bread. It's the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home and leaves you eager to return. I'm already looking forward to trying one of their sandwiches for lunch during my next visit and exploring more of their tempting baked goods. If you appreciate exceptional baked treats and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Great Harvest Bread Company in Kailua is a must-visit.“
“Enjoyed the pastries we bought. My wife loved the spinach bread. I love supporting locals and will continue to come here when I'm in Kailua. I just wished they didn't sell out so early.I had the chocolate donut which had the perfect chewy consistency and the chocolate was nice and rich. I'd definitely eat a few of those the next time.Support local and swing by this small bakery that's been around since the 90s.“
“Stopped in here when we were on the north east side of the island. The Kalua Pig Hash is excellent. It's a huge portion. Some of the potatoes were crunchy while others were soft. The flavors were wonderful. The cilantro added an extra layer of flavor. All four of us ordered it at the waitress' recommendation. Everyone enjoyed it.We also ordered the orange Custard French Toast. It was also excellent. It has a nice crunch to the exterior and a hint of orange flavor. The whipped cream on the plate also has a hint of orange. The fresh maple syrup with the whipped cream on a bite of the French Toast is the way to go.The coffee seemed a bit on the bitter side. We didn't try any of the alcoholic beverages. Everyone agreed this was one of the best meals we've had on the island.“
