Forget the rest, Pipeline is the best. Pipeline set the bar real high for the infamous malasada game. Do not be hesitant to ride up to Kaimuki, you will not be disappointed and I guarantee this will be your "go-to" for malasadas. Perfectly made with that soft pillow interior you crave. The staff here is welcoming and efficient.
Super cute bake shop in Kaimuki but EAT IT FRESH. not good otherwise. Very doughy/cakey... We had already ate and stopped by and got the strawberry scone and cereal cake bomb. Presentation was great! Since we didn't eat it immediately it made my jaw hurt how sticky it was and the flavors just mushed together. I liked it but I have to believe it could have been better.

Usually people visit Leonard's as a place to order their malasadas, but all of a sudden Pipeline takes a higher spot than Leonard's. Pipeline and Leonard's are fairly similar except Pipeline has more variety (bakery things besides malasadas.) The service was good, there was no order mistakes and actually didn't have fermented tasting yeast flavor like Leonard's did.
