“We make it a weekly habit to come and get our gluten full goodness from the Breadshop HNL. We have been loyal patrons for the past couple of months and this review is long overdue.

First, they have most items available early ish with some of the more pastry ish ones ready later. Please see the attached pictures for details.

Second I definitely recommend getting something beyond the city/country/or baguette. They are staples and are must gets. But expand your options to something else on their menu. It will not disappoint.

They even have rotating special pastries. I would also recommend making a pre order if at all possible since they sell out of many items fairly quickly. Don't show up bummed like I did my first visit haha.

I’m obsessed with their Spanish rolls cause I love Spanish rolls but I was very iffy if it’ll be pre heat up cause before I got that and I was not happy but this bakery HANDS DOWN THE BEST. I ordered 24 pieces of Spanish rolls cause that’s how much I eat it’s so ono no joke FRESH, and HOT. We also got the coconut strings buns it was 100000/10. My kids in laws and husband loved it.“

“My friend and I were recommended to go here and it was worth the trip! Best Lemon bar I’ve tried, it was so fluffy and tasty! I also tried the passion fruit bar and blueberry scone and it did not disappoint. Definitely recommend fitting this place into your trip!“

“I enjoyed staying at Halepuna Waikīkī by Halekulani. Everything was perfect during our stay with my sister. 3 elevators in the lobby so you never wait. Close to restaurants, bars and shops. Not far from the beach for about less 5 minutes. The staff is very kind and professional. I recommend that chic hotel for everything 💙“

“Spectacular selection of breads, breakfast sandwiches and sweet treats. Coffee and Latte options are great too. I went with the Matcha Sea Salt Coldbrew and loved every sip. Paired perfectly with The Bacon. Delicious light breakfast bite. Got a Kobo Kuma and Smores Danish to-go. Enjoyed how they have you pick out your pastries first then place your drink. Make sure to check out the menu first before you get in line.“

“Wow! What a great find! This bakery is located across the street from my sister’s condo, and we wandered by one morning, enticed by the beautiful pastries. My sister and I decided to get the breakfast croissants, almond marzipan croissants, and pistachio mochas. So delicious! I lived in France and travel to Europe frequently, I can vouch that their pastries are legit! They have a small outdoor eating area, which was convenient as we had our dog with us. Please patronize this wonderful place.“

“I treated myself on my birthday and bought their ulu banana bread and a lemon poppyseed bread that came with a blueberry compote. Everything was absolutely delicious, nicely packaged and the woman (Maile?) who helped me was very pleasant. The baked goods are pricey and I doubt I would spend that much money every week, but they use quality ingredients that are themselves expensive. I highly recommend trying the products from this bakery.“

I was extremely stressed this past week trying to figure out party plans for my niece’s 1st birthday knowing it would all fall on my aging parents and myself to get everything done and paid for. Although they expressed they did not have full size cakes available, they were able to make a customized petit cake before the shop closed in an hour and a half. It turned out to be way better than I and my family could have hoped for! It was absolutely beautiful and although it was a smaller cake, I would have definitely paid more for it considering the amount of detail they put into it in the time frame given! Paul C. thoughtfully provided some great goodies from Bread House and they were delicious. I think he probably wanted me to space it out as breakfast for a few days but I couldn't help it. As soon as I saw the hot dog bun, I knew I had to have this savory treat.

A hot dog with that unmistakable institutional taste is baked inside a soft, fluffy bread roll with cheese and scallions on top... what's not to love? I enjoyed every bite. A hot dog bun is my usual go-to to grab at any and all Asian pastry shops and finding one in the box Paul C. considerately bestowed was a treat.

Come here and gift someone some baked goods. It will surely bring them a smile.“

The hot saimin was wonderful, a reminder of those carefree days long ago. My companions loved their Korean chicken chili, zip pac deluxe and beef stew. After dining out at fancy eateries everyday during this visit, it’s refreshing to return to simple, unpretentious comfort food.“
