“I enjoyed staying at Halepuna Waikīkī by Halekulani. Everything was perfect during our stay with my sister. 3 elevators in the lobby so you never wait. Close to restaurants, bars and shops. Not far from the beach for about less 5 minutes. The staff is very kind and professional. I recommend that chic hotel for everything 💙“

“Wow! What a great find! This bakery is located across the street from my sister’s condo, and we wandered by one morning, enticed by the beautiful pastries. My sister and I decided to get the breakfast croissants, almond marzipan croissants, and pistachio mochas. So delicious! I lived in France and travel to Europe frequently, I can vouch that their pastries are legit! They have a small outdoor eating area, which was convenient as we had our dog with us. Please patronize this wonderful place.“

The chocolate chip scone is more like a biscuit it’s so buttery and delicious, the texture is perfect and it’s not overly sweet like most breakfast pastry. Favorites include: (sweets) chocolate treasure box, plum and calamansi brioche, lychee pineapple bun, pumpkin crunch, fruit tarts, ALL their cookies (savory) parmessan mushroom balsamic bun, potato (chowder) bun. Love how Baker Cristina and team create innovative and delicious treats showcasing an Asian influence. Open M - F. Best to get their early cause when they sell out... they sell out for the day!“

“I treated myself on my birthday and bought their ulu banana bread and a lemon poppyseed bread that came with a blueberry compote. Everything was absolutely delicious, nicely packaged and the woman (Maile?) who helped me was very pleasant. The baked goods are pricey and I doubt I would spend that much money every week, but they use quality ingredients that are themselves expensive. I highly recommend trying the products from this bakery.“

I was extremely stressed this past week trying to figure out party plans for my niece’s 1st birthday knowing it would all fall on my aging parents and myself to get everything done and paid for. I figured we could just forego the cake since I didn’t want to spend a lot on cake alone. Day of the party, I decided to get one anyway, but of course, every nice cake shop were unable to make something day of. Luckily, I called one more bakery. I saw great reviews for We Heart Cake Company and they were not lying! My experience with the excellent service and professionalism of this company started with the phone conversation. Although they expressed they did not have full size cakes available, they were able to make a customized petit cake before the shop closed in an hour and a half. It turned out to be way better than I and my family could have hoped for! It was absolutely beautiful and although it was a smaller cake, I would have definitely paid more for it considering the amount of detail they put into it in the time frame given!
