“We go there for the shaved ice which is very fine ice, just the way we like it. It's a little slow so we normally always have to wait. They have a seating area outside next to the playground with a view of the pool.
Kid-friendliness: Nice playground for little kids.“

“This is a cute cookie shop. At $10 for three mini cookies and $5 for one large cookie, it's a bit pricey for Japanese people, but it seems to be popular with locals.
These are really cute cookies! !
The chocolate chip cookie part was very tasty. The chocolate strawberry had been refrigerated and was cold, the chocolate cookie part was bitter, and the chocolate part had a strong strawberry taste. The waffle flavor comes with maple syrup. Even the mini size came with a large amount of syrup.
It's near bus stop number 46.
Vegetarian options: No display.
Dietary restrictions: There is no display.
Parking: Parking is available at the mall.
Kid-friendliness: Children were also shopping with their families.
Wheelchair accessibility: I think I'll put it in.“

“First time ordering here. The bakery is IN one of the silos. We had some trouble finding it due to the pin on Google being wrong.
The bakery itself is well decorated with tables outside of it. It’s fun and the products were fresh. The workers all had smiles and were friendly to give suggestions.
All we got was a cinnamon bun. It tasted like a cinnamon pretzel and we loved it. The only thing that we didn’t love was the price tag. $6.50 for something that size was a bit much and the rest of their menu followed suit. If there was a way to lower prices on the menu, we would love to return.“

“It is sold from a take-out truck, but please be sure to eat freshly made food. The texture is completely different from the one I brought home before.
I can see why it's so popular because it's hot and fluffy.
There are chairs next to a nearby shop.“

“How does this place only have 50 reviews! Oh my goodness this was the cutest bakery that served the most delicious poi banana bread, almond cake, Nutella cheese cake and more. We would show up every few minutes to order more.
They have parking in the back lot which was excellent. They have a large table with the game uno to just order food and stay for a bit. Such a great time.
Will certainly visit again!“

“The cinnamon sweet bread was the best !!! However you can get this at Costco, Sam’s club. Also got the apricot, blueberry and coconut sweet bread. It was delicious however the fruit spread isn’t swirled throughout the bread it seemed to all settle to the bottom of the loaf and there was no filling in the whole center section of the loaf. Just on the bottom of the loaf in the first and end sections of the loaf.“
“oh my goodness! just got oatmeal raisin lactation cookies and I don't know how I will pace myself and only eat 2 to 3 per day! so delicious! and the pumpkin puffs! I can't wait to try the pumpkin crunch and cheesecake!“

“Take extreme caution when parking. Because it's on the side of the road with freight trucks going 30-40 in a 25. Lady working there is super friendly even though this palace gets crowded. I got here at 12:30 but there was a sign saying "on lunch, be back at 1". It was worth the wait in the sun.“

“Birthday apple pies are a must for me. New to Oahu so did my research, drove the 35 mins to their bakery. The service was great, she was really nice and even gave me a candle. I bought a regular size Caramel Apple pie and a small Pineapple Dream pie to try. They are both really good!!! So happy I found my new pie place. The drive is worth it. :)“

“My granddaughter turned 5 years old today and we celery her birthday early this weekend but she didn’t like the cake we bought for her. She wanted the dream cake from elvins bakery bc that’s what we got her last year and she loves it.“

“We love coming here and always end up buying a lot of treats from them.
The people are always friendly here and the pastries are delicious! They sell sweet and savory items as well as drinks. You can have them anytime of the day and not just as a snack.
We love the veggie focaccia, the ham and cheese, several with red bean paste or custard cream, sausage rolls, the chicken teriyaki, mochi donuts, and the tuna bomb. Each day they put out different stuff and sometimes they have the cute animal shaped pastries filled with chocolate or custard.
Prices are reasonable, ranging from $3-6 for pastries. Their drinks and loaves of bread vary as well but are also reasonable.
You're gonna want to come to their shop before noon though because by then they usually run out of most of their sweet/savory items and have only loaves of bread left.
All in all, a great place to grab a bite to eat!“

“For all you folks taking digs at the Asian lady, I agree but their pastries are the best and always fresh. They sell out daily. My wife and daughters love the breads. Take my advice...don't make small talk with the lady and you won't be disappointed. I drive from Manoa to this bakery; it's that good!!“
“We were instantly greeted with Aloha! After tasty samples of a few types of breads (all delicious), and good conversation, we chose coconut since I haven't had this type of banana bread before. The bread is nice and moist with delicious flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. We'll be back for more!!“

“Nanding's is a true Filipino bakery!
If you want to feel like you are walking into a bakery in the Philippines then drove to Kalihi and go to Nanding's.
If you don't speak Tagalog then have some patience be respectful and point at what you want.
It is in an area where industry and houses meet. So be aware there are fork trucks driving nearby. Like every here parking is limited.“
“Tracy from Diamond Bakery provided excellent customer service! Be aware though that they are only open 10 am to 2 pm and very difficult to have them pickup the telephone. The Negative is that they use Fedex for delivery which has very bad service and frequent delivery delays. with no local phone number for support. When I called Fedex all they are reporting to me the exact status I can see online with tracking. My shipment was 2 days late from the original delivery date for a delivery that was only less than 10 miles away. 100% better service from USPS and UPS, Fedex is the worst! Diamond Bakery elected to use the worst delivery service anywhere. If you can pick it up you'll save on the delivery fee but just have to go within their short store hours.“
“(REVIEW HAS BEEN UPDATED) Why is it every time I go to this location around 8:30am during the weekdays there's only a handful of items out for sale? When I ask about the other items I'm told it'll be out shortly. Shouldn't all the baked goods be ready before opening so customers can have choices rather than having to choose from the less than 5 items that are available? Maybe I'll just find something else to buy for my office staff. Sigh.......“

“Love this Filipino bakery located inside Seafood City! Be sure to get a ticket first before perusing and selecting the baked goods from the shelves, and don’t forget to check out the display case, which is usually filled with flan, ube flan, bibingka, donuts and more. There’s also empanadas and cascaron in a display next to the cash registers.“

“The Spanish bread at this establishment is absolutely amazing—truly a must-try that makes the trip worthwhile! However, I was a bit taken aback by the atmosphere upon entering. The lively chatter of the local tita’s filled the air, yet I couldn't help but notice some side-eye glances directed at me because I wanted to take pictures. While I understand the desire to maintain a certain ambiance, I was hoping to capture the experience so I could share it and encourage others to visit your fantastic bakery!
Despite the somewhat unfriendly environment, the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Spanish bread—it absolutely stole the show! However, I believe the customer service could use some improvement to match the incredible quality of the food. Overall, I encourage fellow foodies to make the trip for the delicious bread, but I hope to see a warmer welcome on my next visit!“

“This is the best donuts place in town. William knows his “fundamentals” & that’s why the simplest item like butter rolls are soft yet chewy with a golden crust. Also compare his glazed donuts to others you can get from the supermarket & you will never go back.“

“The food was amazing. I had the moco loco. It was delicious. My husband had the Mac Nut waffle ?. He enjoyed it. The service was superb. My only complaint was the c you had to go next door to use the bathroom and there wasn't a changing table. Other then that I highly recommend eating here.“

“One of my favorite pastry shops. Great selection and tasty! They have coffee drinks and some other alternatives. Good parking lot. They have Ube flavors, taro, etc. There is some rotation of flavors. The coconut tart may be small but it's very fluffy and delicious.
Parking: Shares lot with Safeway and other shops but plenty of room.“
“I just love the melting moments cookies & the coconut cookies !!! So yummy.“
“When I was pregnant with my daughter 2003/04 I ate these cookies almost DAILY. It’s so good and addicting. Well I loved these cookies so much I named my daughter Charmaine. I remember meeting Charmaine one day in Baldwin’s in Aiea and I told her because of her cookies I named my daughter after her. She’s now 17 and a senior now.“
“Gracie Mae’s Bakery made my daughter’s cake for her 12th birthday and it was THE BEST tasting cake we’ve ever had. My local go-to bakery went out of business and I was stressing, but then I saw that this business moved to town. She responded quick, answered my questions with kindness and made the best cake we’ve ever had! Everyone at the party raved and loved it! Thank you so much! We will definitely be returning customers.“

“I ordered my wedding cake here and not only does Jay have the best prices but he also offers delivery! I have had bad experiences trying to find a wedding cake provider that actually cares about making my cake and not just charging ridiculous prices. I brought a picture in of what I was looking for I will update pictures after my wedding but I have full confidence in what Jay can do he also mentioned he has been baking since 1998 so he ain’t no stranger to the baking industry and look at his cakes on previous reviews they are beautiful! Pastries I have tried here and the milk tea he makes is also delicious! He also owns the sushi restaurant next door and can provide sushi as well.“
“Although every costco varies, we love them and we are there a couple times a week as needed. One store is good for finding items like the peppermint cleaner and dog food while another is best for finding mct oil and salmon trays. They have everything you need. Obviously the parking is a pain and can be frustrating weaving through people, but still cheaper than local grocery chains for family of 4 with multiple dogs. Also, main complaint is the pharmacy hours. It's a pain getting prescriptions sometimes. Otherwise, Costco works great for our family.“

“I am writing from Italy. A friend returning from Hawaii brought me a package of La Tour Double Chocolate Shortbread. Delicious. I recommend everyone to try them, they are really great. Too bad for me that the company has no ecommerce site and no way to order them and have them shipped to me in Italy.“

“Mhhh, to be honest I was a bit disappointed. The display was broken (which is definetly not their fault!) but most of the items were sold out :( sad when you come a long way to get them + ube flavor is a really light one so it is difficult to achieve a good natural taste. But to be honest the taste was nothing like ube :( Besides that the cheesecake and the rest was delicious but ube was not found.“
