If you enjoy ube flavored desserts this is a place to try out. The ube mochi was tasty. Although if you do not care for coconut flavor, ask before you buy as they include it in some of the desserts. Also this is just a buy and go place, there are no tables to sit at.
We love Ubae! The tarts are obviously our favorite thing, but the soft serve and the crinkle cookies are a close second! Conveniently located in Kalihi in the City Square Shopping Center! Tons of parking (albeit a bit narrow), Ubae is located on the makai side of the complex across Young's Fish Market. I love anything ube, this place has the most tasty ube cheesecake and ube ice cream. I wish the staff were a bit more friendly and also if they have more table to eat your foods in!
