Such a cute place with friendly people! Heads up the soft serve machine is broken except for the pandan flavor. Lots of other yummy treats for that ube flavor!

Small shop, good selection highly recommend going during happy hour 4-5 m-f. Love the cheesecake and still need to try the roll. Definitely going back

Very expensive. 8 ube cheesecake tarts were $17. They were delicious but hard to justify the price. The flan bae cake is very moist and tasty but expensive

I love anything ube, this place has the most tasty ube cheesecake and ube ice cream. I wish the staff were a bit more friendly and also if they have more table to eat your foods in!

The ube crinkle cookies are too sweet and dry, not worth the price imo. The ube flan is great.

Very polite and nice even when I have a bunch of questions. It’s a very small place, but pack a big punch. It’s our favorite place for anything ube.

If you enjoy ube flavored desserts this is a place to try out. The ube mochi was tasty. Although if you do not care for coconut flavor, ask before you buy as they include it in some of the desserts. Also this is just a buy and go place, there are no tables to sit at.

We love Ubae! The tarts are obviously our favorite thing, but the soft serve and the crinkle cookies are a close second! Conveniently located in Kalihi in the City Square Shopping Center! Tons of parking (albeit a bit narrow), Ubae is located on the makai side of the complex across Young's Fish Market. They have a couple different flavors apart from ube - chocolate haupia and chantilly come to mind - as well as platters and larger cheesecakes and regular cake! They have ube soft serve as well as pandan, but the swirl of both flavors is my FAVE. Get a cone or a cup! If you love it, you can also get merch! Come check it out!

I love this place! You absolutely have to have the Ubae 1/2 and 1/2 soft serve! And where ever you are keep your eyes peeled for Ubae Crumble cookies. This is a Honolulu must!

Clean spot, friendly and knowledgeable staff, short wait time and delicious soft serve! I wish i could have come back here and gotten more goodies but next time I'm in Hawaii, i will definitely be coming back! This isn't a sit in spot but they had a cute neon sign with some merchandise for sale. They do take Apple Pay!

The little cheesecake tarts are so so good. I was craving some today so this is why I'm finally reviewing this place. Both ube and original are worth it. I love the portion size too. Quick and easy service. They have so many pastry and sweet options. Love that it's more mom and pop like as well.

Can't say this was worth it for us. Each item was expensive, and we couldn't even taste the ube. It was just overpowering amounts of sugar. Would recommend Kamehameha Bakery instead right next door.

This place has been on my Oahu todo list for a while. I didn't realize it was in the same plaza as Young's! Had to get the ube soft serve since I didn't feel like another pastry. The texture was thick and creamy similar to Samurai soft serve for the locals that have tried that before. The ube + panda mix was yum but the price point was a bit high.

The Ube roll was pretty decent. I used to come here for their pandan Ube soft serve when they first opened. Since it isn't close to where I live, I haven't been back for a while. Just went back a few days ago and their Pandan Ube were not as flavorful as before, it's watered down compared to how I remember it, which was disappointing! But If you like Ube, this is the spot to shop for everything Ube, from cheesecake, tarts to crinkle cookies!
