The donuts are huge with homemade fillings, the pound cake is perfect and made with local fruits, but the pies - the pies will make you want to moan, curse, or both. The chocolate haupia pie is the best pie I’ve had in my life, but you can’t go wrong with any of the fruit ones or the sweet potato. Worth the drive from wherever you are, guaranteed.“

“We make it a weekly habit to come and get our gluten full goodness from the Breadshop HNL. We have been loyal patrons for the past couple of months and this review is long overdue.

First, they have most items available early ish with some of the more pastry ish ones ready later. Please see the attached pictures for details.

Second I definitely recommend getting something beyond the city/country/or baguette. They are staples and are must gets. But expand your options to something else on their menu. It will not disappoint.

They even have rotating special pastries. I would also recommend making a pre order if at all possible since they sell out of many items fairly quickly. Don't show up bummed like I did my first visit haha.

The staff are very nice and pleasant though. Thank you for always showing us aloha“

I’m obsessed with their Spanish rolls cause I love Spanish rolls but I was very iffy if it’ll be pre heat up cause before I got that and I was not happy but this bakery HANDS DOWN THE BEST. “Wow! What a great find! This bakery is located across the street from my sister’s condo, and we wandered by one morning, enticed by the beautiful pastries. My sister and I decided to get the breakfast croissants, almond marzipan croissants, and pistachio mochas. So delicious! I lived in France and travel to Europe frequently, I can vouch that their pastries are legit! They have a small outdoor eating area, which was convenient as we had our dog with us. “Nanding's Bakery is an absolute gem for anyone who loves fresh local baked goods. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it is a special place. All of the employees were very friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the overall experience.

As for the food, every single one of the baked goods we tried tasted amazing. They are fresh, soft, and clearly made with care. I highly recommend getting their ube flavored goods. They are the standout items and are some of the best ube treats you will find anywhere. This is a perfect five-star spot for a quick snack or to pick up a box of treats for the family!“

“The Filipino deserts app has mold. Brought these to a party and thank God it was discovered by my guests at the party. Called to get a refund and below me off as a joke. Mind you my wife and I live one hour away and demanded that we bring back the product that was purchased back to them to inspect. I have been purchasing deserts from them for over 35 years and spend a lot of money. So sad and no accountability and glad no one got sick. I will be letting the San Bernardino health dept know of this crooked establishment not following State and court health codes.“
