I found most of the food in Waikiki area of Honolulu to not be very impressive, but the Halekulani Bakery had such delicious artisan pastries that I made it my regular breakfast spot during my Hawaiian vacation. The tea and scones here were okay, but the croissants and danishes are a must try! Saw this bakery on instagram when planning our trip to Waikiki. Lucky for us we were staying a block away at the outrigger reef hotel! We went to Halekulani Bakery every day of our stay and even brought a bag of goodies home! The salted caramel chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. However, there was nothing that I didn’t like! The guava danish, chocolate macadamia croissant, and cream pan were all outstanding! Do yourself a favor and get to this gem!

I heard from locals that this is the most popular bakery in Hawaii right now.I got the impression that there were a lot of Danish and sweet breads, but the banana muffins were delicious.It's expensive.
