“I have frequent this place multiple times in the morning. Compared to neighboring coffee shops, this one is my favorite.
Cold brew is slightly less than $5.00, iced and straight. No cream and no sugar. It's smooth, tasty, just like the rest of the coffee from their shop. I like the energy bar, still need to try the other food items.
Nice chill location, service staff is friendly and has a good atmosphere.
I'm not sure how their parking is since I walk there.“

They offer their signature matcha and seasonal flavors - yuzu and ube on the day we went. You could order a cone in a single flavor or swirl, and I went for the ube-yuzu swirl. The yuzu was tangy but not sharp, and the ube was not as sweet as other ube soft serve I’ve had - in a good way. “maybe I should say it's horrible then maybe we could keep it for the locals only since the tourist is always finding our awesome spots, pushing away the locals. Prime rib better than outback and some expensive restaurants but yet very affordable. parking is a task so if u can have 1 person wait in the car while one runs in to get ur order. i read somewhere prime rib only available on wkends but saw written menus on everyday. also has specials, prime rib and crab legs, or prime rib and lobster tail“

I had my first Asahi bowl here and it was good value for money.

“I came at 8:30am on a weekday Wednesday morning.

I asked for
Pumpkin spice scone ($5), iced oat latte ($6.5), and iced chai ($6.25).

The scones were warm, crispy on the outside and very tasty. The spices worked well and the white chocolate had a nice melty feel to it.
I think the latte is properly bitter and would be good to have with scones.
The chai had a hint of ginger and was delicious. The person who took my order was very nice and the atmosphere of the store was very nice. There were quite a few customers with their dogs, and we got to see all kinds of cute dogs.

It's also a great place to take a break with a delicious cup of coffee after seeing a lot of things in Salt.

“I would give 10 stars if possible. upon entering insomnia we were greeted by the two people working with so much enthusiasm & kindness that I would come back just to be greeted by them alone (im assuming they’re the owners but not entirely sure). they suggested an iced Vietnamese coffee if we needed a lot of caffeine, we agreed & the coffee was so strong & so tasty! my daughter ordered a strawberry smoothie & it was great as well. while we enjoyed our drinks I listened to them greet a few other customers who came in, & it made my heart so full. the people here are incredibly caring & so kind. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area!“

“The flavors had so many different flavors and I had a couple of the free samples which are great for new customers and children. the line wasn’t very long and the gelato wasn’t all too special but for a medium price range it was a good treat to walk and eat downtown with friends and family. there is areas to sit outside and enjoy the view and nice people of hawaii. I would definitely recommend this place to any travelers-tourists, or anyone that is looking for a little treat in the waikīkī area. the location couldn’t be much better and the variety of flavors make for a great experience I wish there was 10 stars for IL GELATO HAWAII!

Parking: there isn’t much parking it’s more of a place you walk around on the waikīkī beach area downtown.“

“I had lunch with a friend and her daughter in this cute little cafe in the design center.

The food is fresh, clean, and came in perfect portions. My 2 year old daughter loved the salmon and fresh veggies it as well as the corn soup with crab. But what we loved most about this place was the desert selection!!!

Oh how my daughter’s eyes sparkled when she saw the showcase of over 20+ varieties of mini cakes!!
Ofcourse, she chose the pink colored cake which to my surprise was azuki bean cream. I chose a chocolate shell dome with marron (chestnut) and rum mouse filling. Both rare flavors and delicious!! The deserts are great because they are not overly sweetened and cater to a foreign tongue!! Unfortunately deserts were devoured so I didn’t get a photo.

My daughter now dreams about going back and having desert. We will be back soon! .

Kid-friendliness: Highchairs available, this food is great for kids who can eat variety of food. I just shared my plate with my daughter.

The combos are a nice deal - I like getting a soup + salad or soup + sandwich. They also cater my office's meetings quite often; they can cater both breakfast (pastries and breakfast sandwiches, plus coffee) and lunch (mostly sandwiches for us). Some of my coworkers have said some of their catered sandwiches a bit boring after a while, so you may consider specifically requesting the types of sandwiches you prefer.“

It incorporates elements from other cultures, such as a Chinese-style garden and an Islamic-style garden, and although it's not that large, it feels like you've wandered into a European city rather than Hawaii.

The staff were all friendly, and the security guard told me that it was OK to park on the street in front of the museum on Sundays.

The cafe is open-style with a view of the courtyard, and the breeze blowing through is pleasant. We had steak, salad, sandwiches, and gelato, and all of them were authentic and tasted great.“
