Next time i plan to try the hojicha flavor ice cream, or float or tea... There's not many places to sit and eat here, but if it's not too crowded you can find a spot.“

“Came here recently and overall had a pretty solid experience. I’d give it a 4/5.

The portions are large, which is always a plus. The fried rice uses older rice so it’s nicely separated, but the flavor was just okay for me. I also tried the loco moco. The patty was a bit on the tougher side and lighter in flavor compared to other places, and overall it was a bit mid. It did have a strong mushroom taste, and the raw tomatoes and onions on top helped balance everything when you eat it together. The patty itself has a very beefy taste, if that makes sense.

The highlight for me was definitely the açaí bowl. It’s thick and slightly clumpy in a good way, almost like gelato. It comes with lots of fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey, and really good granola. Definitely the best thing on the menu.

Also worth noting, the place is mostly self serve. They ring you when your food is ready and you pick it up at the counter, and there’s a water station on the side. Bathrooms were clean too.“

“This is honestly the best Açaí I’ve had on my trip between Oahu and Kauai (and I’ve tried a lot, including “best on the island” recommendations). The açaí was the perfect texture and tasted so good, the fruit was fresh and flavorful, and as you can see they don’t skimp on the honey.

I will say it’s kind of expensive (even comparatively), and the portion size is smaller than a lot of the bowls I’ve received elsewhere, but it’s worth it. I had this on my second day of vacation and I’ve talked about it pretty much every day since. If we had stayed in Waikiki, I would’ve gone more than once!“

It’s a little hidden gem and has elevator parking for your car in the back of the building or you can park in the Walmart lot. I very much recommend this place.“

I would not order the Asian dishes here like the Pad Thai or the curry (go to a Thai restaurant for that) if I were to do it again I would go for the specials at this restaurant like the Lamb Wellington. I would come back again, too bad it’s our last day here in paradise. I would recommend the lemon tart very good. The chocolate pyramid is nothing special, just mousse and chocolate cake. Listen to the waiters and their recommendations, they know what they’re talking about. Amazing place a for coffee and dessert.“

“Went there by chance, but oh my God, the food was absolutely delicious. The Japanese burger and Japanese potato salad were out of this world. Then the owner came out and spoke with my son and told us the history of the place and how he cooks & ingredients etc, he was so personable and so nice. “I loved the super fresh salad that came with the vegetarian eggs Benedict. Everything was prepared to perfection. The acoustics can make it hard to hear the person at the other end of the table. “This review is long due. Wanted to gatekeep this amazing cafe. It's actually inside Ala Moana Hotel, right before you get to the hotel gym. The cafe/bar was unassuming. I walked in for early breakfast. I was the only patron. Was greeted warmly and decided on Avacado Toast (dine in) and an Acai Bowl(to go)
Omg..the avacado toast was probably one of the best with the warm sourdough bread. It's the warm and cold, the crust that's crunchy with the avacado mush...it was flavorful and satisfying.
I bought the Acai Bowl for later and it was also beyond. The fruits are fresh and perfect match with the granola and honey. That combo made my day.“

“I have visited the Haleiwa location multiple times and it just hits the spot for unique gelato flavors! I also highly recommend any of the crepes ... and of course, the Ube Mochi waffle!!! Staff friendly and attentive and the place is kept very clean. Definitely worth a stop if you need to pick up a pint of gelato for a family dinner too. ;)“

“I had the ham and cheese omelet with toast, bacon and coffee. Everything was great. Made to order. I got in around 645am. There was no line. I sat outside under the awning. There is a walking train right behind the restaurant where different units like to do morning PT. The atmosphere is very Hawaiian. Overall great experience“

“Reliably good, reasonably priced (cold and hot) sandwiches, soups, and salads including leafy greens and pasta salads. Friendly and efficient service, too. The combos are a nice deal - I like getting a soup + salad or soup + sandwich. They also cater my office's meetings quite often; they can cater both breakfast (pastries and breakfast sandwiches, plus coffee) and lunch (mostly sandwiches for us). Some of my coworkers have said some of their catered sandwiches a bit boring after a while, so you may consider specifically requesting the types of sandwiches you prefer.“

“Was in Hawaii for a week and visited Lotus three times because the coffee and food was so good. The base black coffee is phenomenal which of course also made the cappuccino I tried delicious and the food was impressively tasty: I’m still talking about the grilled cheese a week later as well as the Portuguese bean soup and empanadas. The comfortable setting was the cherry on top.“
