Ordered a malasada and went with the mango filling which was the special of the day. They made it fresh. Was everything I hoped for. Warm flaky exterior with the sweet cream filling inside.“

“We tried the matcha vanilla swirl and the ube, and both were absolutely delicious. The ice cream was creamy, flavorful, and the swirl itself was beautiful. It is definitely the kind of dessert that is as fun to look at as it is to eat.

After trying the ice cream, I am now curious to come back and try their regular matcha drinks as well. If their matcha flavor in the ice cream is any indication, I have high hopes.

One small note: be careful with the spoons! They were surprisingly sharp, so eat carefully or consider getting a cone instead.“

“The staff at Cafe Kaila are so warm and welcoming. They also have best breakfast whether you choose to eat an eggs Benedict or a banana bread French toast. Always fresh fruit there so pile it on everyone and just enjoy 😉“

“This is an amazing place for breakfast. The food is so good. Everyone is really nice and helpful. Customer service is top tier. We usually have pick up orders and it’s always hot and fresh when we pick up. We continue to go back! The waffle is never soggy - always crispy and fresh. The veggie omelette is so fluffy/ filled with a perfect balance of melted cheese and your choice of 3 types of veggies - and the potatoes are seasoned perfectly. Super filling food portions, and the iced latte is great- the coffee they use has such great flavor! I usually avoid coffees that taste too sugary, so the iced latte is perfection. Highly recommend!“

“Best shave ice we found on Oahu. We walked from the zoo end every night just for Lahaina shave ice. Made the mistake of trying a different place one night and quickly learned our lesson. Hands down the only place to go“

“This dessert shop was absolutely amazing! The location was easy to find, and they had such a great variety of menu items that we got to try several different desserts and had a wonderful time.
The young staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making it easy for us to choose what to order. My favorite items were definitely the ice cream, which was absolutely delicious, and the acai bowl, which was packed with fresh fruit and tasted so fresh.
We were still a little hungry, so we also ordered a waffle. It was perfectly sweet, generously topped, and incredibly delicious.

“Great little bakery/breakfast place at Nā Lama Kukui. So many delicious pastries and desserts inside! We stopped in quickly before visiting the new record shop in the building. Ordered a poached pear tart, an iced pistachio latte, and a hot hazelnut latte. They were all very delicious! I was so amazed at the amount of beautiful (and delicious looking) pastry/dessert options they had inside!!! It was our first time visiting and the staff were so patient and helpful. I'll definitely be back to try out some of their other menu options and that chocolate pyramid!“

“The drinks I ordered was average to other boba shops, granted that I ordered simple, flavored green tea with jelly and a lemonade slush with jelly too.
However, the service was great. I heard the cashier greet customers she hadn't seen in a while with a friendly welcome. All staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered something online, two orders but apart from each other. I was told that both would be made and ready together. But that wasnt the case and only one order was ready at pick up. It seems that communication between all involved are not in sync. The person helping me at the shop was very professional in handling the situation. There was no compensation for their error and I realized this is not the first time it happened. (They need to work on this)
But I'll be back, obviously for my order, and perhaps order a different drink to try next time.“

“The service and food here is absolutely fantastic! The Prime Rib Loco Moco, is the star of the show. I couldn’t finish, but thoroughly enjoyed, 10 ounces, of Prime Rib, over a bed of rice, with brown gravy, and 2 eggs, over medium, on top. Welcome to perfection on a plate. My friend said the fried chicken, was the best she had ever eaten. Next time, the Nutella pancakes, with banana, or should I get the tres leches, strawberry beignets….They are open 7-3 every day. “We were sightseeing around the area and decided to grab a quick bite here while visiting the art museum, which was really convenient for us as tourists. Their pasta and salads were both really tasty, simple but satisfying enough for a casual lunch. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, a nice place to rest our feet after wandering through all the art exhibits. “I've visited Fusion when they were in Kaimuki and I'm so glad to see they have a new home inside Salon DADA! Malie is fantastic as always, and takes great care of people. The food is delicious (💯 recommend the empanadas and wagyu burger), and the drinks go great with the food!

“Food was pretty good. I got a Philly cheese steak, and it had plenty of cheese and peppers. Fries were serviceable, but nothing special. Service was a little chaotic, lining up to place orders and pick them up as they were completed, but it was made very quickly, so minimal wait. Inside is nice and cool, but maybe a bit noisy, to eat, while the outdoor patio has a nice breeze, shade, and great view of the water.“
