“This is a Hawaiian Korean style food cater to the locals. Some of the food seems American-Hawaiian and other American Korean but the food was not typical Korean food. Since I did not try the soups I would no know if those were typical Korean. The food that we had was very well prepared and the “salad bar” supposed to be the banchan, but it was Hawaiian mixed with Korean.“

The food for our recent party with guests from our islands, plus mainland cities and Australia, called for varied tastes. The Food Company offered perfect selections, getting raves!! “Great place to eat after a day at the beach. You can sit inside or go around the side and find several tables in the large hallway. I prefer the hallway as there are a lot less people and it’s quieter. The restrooms are near the hallway as well. K and K is better than L&L.“

“Amazing food, service, and entertainment with a saxophone player. Our French Laundry Steak was cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were delicious. We also had the bruschetta as a starter and loved it. Drinks were strong and perfectly concocted. Also enjoyed the tiramisu for dessert in which they wrote happy birthday on! A great place for a fancy date night or celebration dinner.“

“I don’t normally write reviews but the food here was really good. I’ve eaten a lot of Vietnamese in my life and I will say this is some of the best I’ve eaten. A little pricey for someone that has travelled the world but for Hawaii I guess it’s ok. These are new owners so give them a chance.“

You can’t beat the happy hour special prices, $12 for a draft beer and burger/tacos/pulled pork etc. depending on the day, the pulled pork is my favorite. Excellent draft selection of local beers. Update: changing my rating to 5 stars. Picked up my order. It was ready when I walked on. Still and friendly lady at the register. I've ordered Oyster Sauce Cake Noodle from here for decades. It was okay but not great. Its my favorite so I kept ordering it.

After several years of not going back, today I decided to try again.

Wow! It was totally different. Nice meaty pieces of chicken, lots of greens which is usual for every place ive ordered this. Good cake noodles though I prefer them to be a bit more cakey. And an affordable price.

“Wanted some Island food for a quick lunch before heading to beach. The menu was varied and plentiful. I got the lau lau pork (first time) and it was good. Husband got seafood plate with chicken katsu. The amount of seafood was same as the katsu (he’d hoped more seafood, given the name). Said the seafood was good, katsu was better.“

An extremely beautiful and helpful bartender! She had the right to refuse my service considering I was only graced to be in her presence for the begging of breaking a hundred dollar bill for me that I wouldn't even be spending in her establishment! I was actually in the Kailua Domino's and they couldn't and or would not have change for my $100 bill on my $17.76 pizza and a 2.0L Dr Pepper purchase. I told her I would purchase a soda and leave a tip for troubling her. I heard disgruntled murr murrs from the patrons in the bar area. She broke the bill for me with absolutely 0% resistance and followed up with a courteous and award winning smile! I left her a $20 tip for her professionalism and rajah dat kine attitude! I don't know her name, but Mahalo all the same! I recommend to anyone that happens to roll through Kailua! Stop here and have a drink and and some grinds! The atmosphere alone will, like that bartenders smile! Make your day shine!! Mahalo!!“

“Being from Bakersfield, California, we know good Mexican food, and Mexico Lindo absolutely delivered! This was by far the best Mexican food we found anywhere on the island.

The portions were generous, the cocktails were large and well-made, and every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. What really made the experience stand out was the outstanding service. From the host who greeted us, to our server, to the bartender, everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great experience.

The staff was happy to answer questions, offer recommendations, and make us feel welcome from start to finish. It's clear they take pride in both their food and their customer service.
