“So good! Driving up to the North Shore from the airport we wanted something local. Family owned. No frills just awesome chicken. So juicy. We all had sandwiches and the pulled chicken is more like chunks with some pulled. Not overly shredded. And not doused with sauce. Just a nice enhancement. We had the melts and they were delicious. The bread is crusty but soft inside. An easy bite. And my son loved his Cajun fries. Off street parking in the rear.“

“Went there with my husband on a house hunting trip and stopped there for lunch. We both had pizza which were quite good, thin crust, simple ingredients but flavorful. We had 2 servers and both were friendly and accommodating. A rooster was trying to get some of our foods and was not very happy with us. Overall a nice place to stop by.“

She had the right to refuse my service considering I was only graced to be in her presence for the begging of breaking a hundred dollar bill for me that I wouldn't even be spending in her establishment! I was actually in the Kailua Domino's and they couldn't and or would not have change for my $100 bill on my $17.76 pizza and a 2.0L Dr Pepper purchase. I told her I would purchase a soda and leave a tip for troubling her. I heard disgruntled murr murrs from the patrons in the bar area. She broke the bill for me with absolutely 0% resistance and followed up with a courteous and award winning smile! I left her a $20 tip for her professionalism and rajah dat kine attitude! I don't know her name, but Mahalo all the same! I recommend to anyone that happens to roll through Kailua! Stop here and have a drink and and some grinds! The atmosphere alone will, like that bartenders smile! Make your day shine!! Mahalo!!“

“The restaurant is somewhat small and very rustic, perhaps a bit more rustic than I anticipated.
Five of us for dinner and everyone was completely satisfied and very happy with their dinners. They even had specialty soft drinks for the kids.
I have never been a fan of smoked meats but I did have the smoked prime rib based on the reviews. It was amazing! Juicy, flavorful and tender. My son had the rack of lamb for the first time. He was also very happy with his choice.
Our service was easily as good as the food. Our server was always available, attentive and very pleasant.“

The food was inspired, creative, delicious, and locally sourced. Though the portions of each dish looked small, it was more than enough food and so delicious you wanted to eat every bite! The wine pairings were spot on, absolutely perfect with our chosen courses. The space has such a lovely vibe - clean and modern, but comfortable and well appointed. There really isn't another dining experience quite like this on the island. Justine and Kevin have created such a beautiful place with incredible food and service. “Long time since I visited this place… I missed their Mix Plate with salads! It was a bit after lunch time, so I didn’t wait for long to be served. My mixed plate was chicken katsu and mochiko chicken. My friend got beef cutlet and roast pork Mixed Plate. Both is us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch plate! Asian salad was just right flavor with sesame oil and fried wanton. A little extra was chow fun under the meat. And the price was really reasonable here!! ($15 each). Parking lot is just next to the restaurant, very convenient. It was really satisfied day for me.“

“If you want to stay down waikiki this is a great option. Right at the bottom of the area, you feel a little removed which is nice. Only a short walk and you hit the main "strip", but in the hilton you feel that peaceful hawaiin vibe. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the facilities are great. Especially the gym which has a good amount of equipment. The beach even has green sea turtles who sometimes visit ! That was amazing to see as a trip to see them may run you $300. There's lots of food options here and also an ABC which has lots of affordable grab and go food if you don't want to constantly break the bank. My only issue is the resort fee. You will be charged $50 PER DAY, so please take this into account when you book at this price is NOT included and you can get a nasty surprise on check out. I personally think this should be incoperated in the price as many of the things listed in what you get for the resort fee would be free in good hotels anyway. Other than this it is still a great value hotel for the area with lots in reach“
