“We Were invited to listen to my cousins band play as a live band for entertainment. Service was exceptional, food was delicious, the atmosphere was pretty laid back, people enjoying the music to crowd the dance floor. Band played oldies but goodies and Bruno Mars current hit song, so familiar songs that the patrons could relate to enough to get them to dance. Really enjoyed ourselves overall, invited more people to check them out. We went on a Wednesday 5pm - 730pm, band schedule to play until 8pm, we left for my 90 year old mom who wanted to watch her nephew play with the band.“

“Coral Rocks & Fairways: Scouting Coral Creek’s Layout Smartgolfcourses stopped by Coral Creek Golf Course to check out the grounds. The coral rock formations really frame the course beautifully. Everything from the pro shop to the starter area felt organized. Watched a few drives on Hole 10 Looks like a solid Robin Nelson design that demands accuracy. Good vibes all around.“

“The service and food here is absolutely fantastic! The Prime Rib Loco Moco, is the star of the show. I couldn’t finish, but thoroughly enjoyed, 10 ounces, of Prime Rib, over a bed of rice, with brown gravy, and 2 eggs, over medium, on top. Welcome to perfection on a plate. My friend said the fried chicken, was the best she had ever eaten. Next time, the Nutella pancakes, with banana, or should I get the tres leches, strawberry beignets….They are open 7-3 every day. They offer three different discount discounts Monday through Friday. Military, senior (62) or Early Bird. 7-8am. Be hungry. Enjoy!“

Our waiter was Dexter and he was quite the professional. He always asked permission to remove plates or to touch anything on our table. The food was fabulous! Definitely 5 star food. “We went here twice for breakfast while staying at Aulani. It was a cheaper option, and the food was wonderful. The bacon jalapeno fried rice hit the spot without breaking the bank. We shared the fruit pancakes with that and were very satisfied. We walked, but there were a few parking spots.“

“I arrived at 11 am and they were already sold out on all their food except for the beef stew, so I bought the beef stew with once scoop of rice and macaroni salad and green salad, which came to $11. The server was very nice in explaining about what she got left and she gave so much that I was barely able to finish and the food was very good. This is a definitely a hidden cheap eats gem in Waipahu.“

“We made a quick stop here for breakfast. It is an order at the counter style restaurant. Our food. Ame out so fast! I had the Spinsch, mushroom and cheese omelet. They were out of hash browns and I was bummed until I tried the home fries. YUM! They were so good that it made me forget I wanted hash browns. The omelet was light and fluffy, but so big I was unable to finish it and the potatoes. So odd. Because I usually eat everything. It was very good and I will put this in my top breakfast place list for sure! Nothing fancy. Just good home cooking. Thanks, Koa Pancake House for a great start to my day!
Side note: I loved the representation of all military branches displayed by the flags hanging from the ceiling. 🥰“

“Can’t really say to much about the service and atmosphere because it was take out but staff was friendly and we revived our food In a timely way. The kalua nachos are great, the cheese and ingredients are mixed throughout the nachos and not just stack in top leaving nothing on the bottom like other places. Would recommend.“

“Beachfront dining with excellent service, unbeatable lagoon views, and decent food. Overall, the food was very nice plated and great flavors, but in my opinion every dish was slightly salty, not a deal breaker but certainly could be a little less heavy handed. I would definitely come back again but hope everything would be a little bit more dialed in to make it 5/5 stars.

Kambucha squash with miso caramel: great flavor and great texture but sauce was again very seasoned. 8/10

NY strip steak: perfectly cooked medium rare with nice crunchy bits on top and very tender. It was served with a few sauces that while indeed salty again, in this case it worked and the salt let the beef flavor shine. 9/10 would definitely come back again for this.

KFC cauliflower: korean fried iteration of cauliflower it was spicy, sticky, crunchy, sweet and definitely was one of the table favorites. 9/10

Sunset roll: standard sushi roll with crab and fish on top. It was good and fresh. 8.5/10

Beef, pork, mushroom skewers: the pork belly was great and the sauce was tasty and not overly salty, my favorite of the three. The beef was decent but did not really compare to the steak we had so having them side by side made it kind of underwhelming. The mushrooms were good but kind of small for the price compared to the others. 7.5/10

Shoyu eggplant: eggplant was plump and tasty with a definite soy sauce taste. Kind of verged on the salty side but considering shoyu was in the name it definitely delivered on that front. 8/10

Shrimp toast: fried Japanese milk bread with shrimp and a tangy sauce and salad on top. Great crunch and flavorful shrimp but again the sauce was verging on overly salty. That said, we all did enjoy this dish and would order it again. 8.5/10

Fresh caught fish with crispy skin over rice with consumme: this dish was the only dish that was not overly salty and I thought was delicious, well balanced and had nice delicate flavors. My one nitpick was the skin did not come out crispy as advertised. 8/10

Scallops: Three scallops served over a cream sauce with rice cakes and salmon eggs. The scallops and sauce were the star and very tasty on its own, however, when eaten with the ikura, again it followed the trend of overly salty so I kind of avoided it. The rice cakes were kind of just there and was surprisingly bland considering the aforementioned saltiness. Overall, while the scallops and sauce were nice, the dish was a little underwhelming for the high price and small amounts of scallops ($16 per scallop). 7/10

In summary, most dishes had high and lows, but with the great service and views this place still offers a lot of value, I just think it has some kinks to work out.“

“Head to Halawa and grab some lunch at Bombuchaz. We ordered the hamburger steak plate and the #3 special with beef stew, chicken long rice, and pan laulau. Yummers! The stew uses short ribs which made it even better. The flavors was spot on. We went there at 10:30 so only had about 3 people in line. I've heard they sell out so get there early and get your grub on!“

“Restaurant outlet inside Four Seasons Hotel Oahu. This is also the restaurant for serving breakfast. Breakfast can be buffet or a la carte. Buffet selection is pretty good. Although the best breakfast buffet I found was at Four Seasons Bangkok. Fresh juices are served here. A bit disappointing that they do not serve any breakfast steak or some sort of....“

“The Galley is very clean. Great atmosphere. The food is great. Eggs made to order. Fresh cut fruit daily as well as the salad bar is fresh as well. Great healthy drink choices. Always worth a visit.“

“Ruby Tuesday in the Moanaloa shopping center is fantastic. A lot of military members and their families eat there. They are responsive to large groups who gather to eat as well as have short meetings during their time there. And, use of their robots to carry the meals to the table saves the wait staff's backs!“

“I went twice and had two very different experiences so it seems hit-and-miss. Service was quick both times. Friendly would be a stretch, but the workers are polite and efficient. There's plenty of seating between inside and outside options. Out of several sit down restaurants on base, Wright Brothers had the best prices. The view was on par with The Lanai also on base. I would recommend for lunch if you're with a group and want a sit down option.

The first visit I had a patty melt with fries and it was great! The fries were perfectly crispy and salty. The second time I had a club sandwich with fries. This time the fries were overdone and just not very good. The sandwich was a disaster. It was like the chef pulled a wad of sliced turkey out and slapped it on bread so there was just this ball of sliced turkey. I had to take it apart after I sat down and rearrange everything to actually eat it.

Both visits were during lunch hours. I asked about breakfast and was told that they only serve breakfast on the weekends so I'm not sure if the hours listed here are correct.“

Daughter had chicken but wasn't a fan. Positive reviews on calamari, burger and another variation of the Mahi Mahi.“

“Could just be a preference, the fish toco where a little dry. Crispy pork, i prefer the vegetables mixed and a little more vinegar bite in the sauce. Garlic fries, again it could just be preference, it just didn't feel like Garlic fries im used to getting. It just wasn't mixed more like melted butter. Poke nachos... it was good just the sauce wasn't that spread out as much. Overall it was good atmosphere. For taste. To each their own.“

“We were actually impressed for a museum restaurant. Prices were about what you'd pay at a regular fast casual restaurant and the flavour was pretty good. My main complaint is the food wasn't very hot at all (actually the pork was basically cold), but it was tastier than I expected for museum food. If you're at Pearl Harbor for a day, this is a pretty reasonable lunch stop.

Service was also pretty friendly and the atmosphere was nice since it wasn't too crowded.“

“Hubby and I went in to try the new chicken sandwiches. He tried the hot honey chipotle one (I believe that's what it's called) and I tried the original. They were both really good. Also while we were there we saw they had some newer menu items since the last time we visited. We are planning another trip back soon to try some of the newer items. Wait staff was pleasant and attentive. Atmosphere was clean. Food was awesome.“
