“Quite honestly it was one of the best food experiences of my entire trip to O'ahu, even though it was just an emergency dinner after a very long hike - I was very hungry. The place has a local climate attached to it with friendly people you can talk to and listen to their stories. Prices are really good for the amount of meat you get and its very tasty. Only the mac n cheese wasn't that great for me but I guess it's just not my thing.“

“Wanted some Island food for a quick lunch before heading to beach. The menu was varied and plentiful. I got the lau lau pork (first time) and it was good. Husband got seafood plate with chicken katsu. The amount of seafood was same as the katsu (he’d hoped more seafood, given the name). Said the seafood was good, katsu was better.“

“Our family had dinner here where we ordered the ohana meals. We were blown away by the mac salad, the chicken katsu, Korean fried chicken were super good, and the dobash cake was incredible, not too heavy and not too rich/sweet. We ordered the noodles too, and those were okay, but the standout for us was the mac salad, chicken, and cake. It all fed our family of 5 with leftovers.“

“Great place to eat after a day at the beach. You can sit inside or go around the side and find several tables in the large hallway. I prefer the hallway as there are a lot less people and it’s quieter. The restrooms are near the hallway as well. K and K is better than L&L.“

“The garlic chicken here is so good! We ordered a regular plate to share and it was more than enough! The staff were nice and service was fast. The shop inside is small so you just order your food and there's seating outside. This place is Perfect for picking up food before you go to the beach! They have a lot of options on the menu.“

“This is a solid takeout spot with good poke. There are spots to sit and eat outside. Make sure you ask about their ingredients. I discovered peanuts in their Thai basil poke after I started eating it and sharing with my son who has a peanut allergy. We had to rush to get some allergy meds afterwards so be careful.“

“Was starving after spending the day at Lanikai Beach. Always great food at L&L. You really can't go wrong. I had the seafood platter with the bbq chicken and it was perfect. Cant wait to come back to Oahu again and stop by here to complete a perfect day at the beach. ALOHA!“

“Romantic , food was ok ! Butterfish was amazing but the garlic shrimp was only three pieces of shrimp on doughy cheese balls I expected more shrimp or veggies ! Noise in the afternoon not bad ! Presentation good Would have to try more of the menu but will never order the shrimp again“

“If you haven’t been, go! The food is surprisingly broke da mouth ono. Soon to be Lava Bar & Grill and they’re killin’ it. Great staff (Stephen’s the man), corn hole, pool, and live singers! Under the radar local spot that you need to check out. And get the bread pudding bites! (And the poke bowl). (And the chicago dog). (And the philly sandwich). Can’t go wrong.“
