“Really tasty food with generous portions. Food is cooked to order, so is fresh and very hot. The spicy shrimp is truly that so be ready for the heat! The lemon pepper shrimp was also delicious. The owners are very friendly. There are picnic tables (both covered and uncovered) are available; just don't feed the chickens from next door that will come to visit you!“

“After researching multiple Luau’s in Oahu, I decided on Toa and oh my gosh, I’m so glad I did! This show blew us all away! “The food here was so good and satisfying. Loco Moco is the stuff dreams are made of. Portuguese sausage, bacon - wife and sons pancakes were also fantastic from what they told me. Oldest son got the teriyaki beef which was also very flavorful and tender. Portions are huge for the price - I am excited this will be leftovers later. 🤣

This is a must stop if you are on Oahu.“

“This is place is a hidden gem.
We were hungry after the byodo-in temple and thought of trying this food truck.
To our surprize the the spicy garlic shrimp was delicious, couldn't take pictures of the food. But definitely try this place.“

“In the past, I would only order the noodle trays or plates for pot luck. Recently, I started buying their plate lunches, and suddenly realized what I’ve been missing. I ordered their fish and chips and chicken katsu. Both came with ultra generous servings and I believe the fish and chips was THE Best I’ve ever tasted. I served 30 years in the Army and 22 years as a civilian for the Marine Corps….. and have travelled all over the United States and a good portion of other countries, and I swear the Mililani Restaurant’s fish and chips IS the very Best I’ve ever eaten. Absolutely awesome!!!! If you’ve never tried their food you really need to go!!!“

“The drinks are a little strong, definitely not complaining, had the beef sliders and they were delicious. This is definitely a five-star establishment and a fun place to hang by the beach. The atmosphere is lively and charming with live entertainment. Bring your wallet and live your best life.“

“Gotta give these guys 5 stars for staying open during a heavy rain storm that caused blackouts and flooding around the island. We walked in, the entire shopping center was blacked out, except these guys had a light on and the fryer going. Huge line for this place, everyone standing in the dark. Really appreciate it. “Mad Fruit had delicious Banana Bliss. Its a banana bread sundae warmed up with a bunch of toppings. The toppings added great texture and freshness with the fruit. Only recommendation I'd have was a but more ice cream to level out with the amount of banana bread. Otherwise it was delicious and I think worth the price for the amount that was given.“

“I got rec'd to try this this place by my cousin who used to work here and when I somehow found myself in wahiawa I figured why not. She wasn't kidding when she said hole in the wall as it's just a couple tables and that's it. I was looking to order the honey garlic chicken as it's supposedly that's what they're famous for, but I ended up going for the miso garlic chicken instead, as that sound sounded kind of interesting as well. Food came out relatively fast and look to be portioning well. I love a very crispy chicken. That's not too meaty and this one hit just the spot. I was definitely surprised at the miso was like a drizzle as well as the sauce underneath so the bottom ones got more coverage in the top but they were all evenly well done. I also as you know, love heaping scoops of rice and the scoops of rice here were phenomenal. I do eventually want to go back and try the honey garlic chicken and ideally their cherry pork chops, cause that look good too. I think the only thing holding it back from the five is that these items for whatever reason fall under combination plate plates and therefore do not get a mini. I wasn't exactly looking to get a regular plate as it was 17 bucks but they said that it was the only way I could get it so I semi understand but don't. Overall relatively solid place if you're OK with dealing it with that.“

Throughout our meal, Harley was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Our drinks were always refilled promptly, special requests were handled with care, and the service felt personal and thoughtful without ever being rushed.

“I am a stickler when it comes to smoked meats and this restaurant is absolutely a staple on the island. Everyone driving the coast should really consider giving this a try. All you need is a whole chicken, cup of dipping juice and something cold to drink.“

“The luau at the Hula Garden was a truly superb experience. The location outside of the city of Honolulu is beautiful. The staff and performers treated us with one on one service throughout the memorable evening. There was an amazing four course meal while watching beautiful performances. I would highly recommend this activity for anybody traveling to Hawaii or for residents looking for an exquisite evening out.“

“We had a tour guide take us around the Island. We wanted to go to an authentic place to eat, not fancy touristy restaurants. He recommended 2 places, (I won't say the other one on this review, but it was also excellent!) He brought us to Coral Kingdom for the Huli Huli Chicken. It was so flavorful, juicy and delicious! We loved the relaxed atmosphere and good food. After we ate, we went shopping and got some cute souvenirs. I'm so glad we didn't miss this spot.“

“This food truck lived up to it's great reputation. Simple ordering and grabbing plates through the window. cash only. the garlic shrimp was delicious and gluten free. The spicy shrimp was not overpowering for me. covered picnic tables and a few other vendors nearby. overall, simple and grand.“

“Now I get l&l is cliche and everywhere with somehow varying levels of constancy on and off the rock I'll admit Mauka is prolly in the conversation for best one I've had. For what it's worth the portions haven't changed a bit since they opened and crispness of everything is always welcome in my house! My problem as with most places boils down to rising costs. Again while understandable it turns places I and I assume others would rely on for a decent meal should we not want to cook or have a craving but again turns into a welcome treat/luxury. Overall still a place I'd hit up again and like how quick everything comes!“
