“We had the seafood combo, the teriyaki steak bowl, double cheeseburger deluxe, chicken sandwich and two orders of fries , 3 fountain drinks and a coconut water. Steak bowl was small but it was very filling. Burger was huge and so was the chicken sandwich. Seafood combo was delicious. Definitely recommend“

“I got rec'd to try this this place by my cousin who used to work here and when I somehow found myself in wahiawa I figured why not. She wasn't kidding when she said hole in the wall as it's just a couple tables and that's it. I was looking to order the honey garlic chicken as it's supposedly that's what they're famous for, but I ended up going for the miso garlic chicken instead, as that sound sounded kind of interesting as well. Food came out relatively fast and look to be portioning well. I love a very crispy chicken. That's not too meaty and this one hit just the spot. I was definitely surprised at the miso was like a drizzle as well as the sauce underneath so the bottom ones got more coverage in the top but they were all evenly well done. I also as you know, love heaping scoops of rice and the scoops of rice here were phenomenal. I do eventually want to go back and try the honey garlic chicken and ideally their cherry pork chops, cause that look good too. I think the only thing holding it back from the five is that these items for whatever reason fall under combination plate plates and therefore do not get a mini. I wasn't exactly looking to get a regular plate as it was 17 bucks but they said that it was the only way I could get it so I semi understand but don't. Overall relatively solid place if you're OK with dealing it with that.“

“It's rare to find a place so cheap and yet so delicious! I was dropping off my old man and found out about a unicorn in today's economy a solid breakfast, plate lunch or bento all 20 bucks or less. Now okazuyas been my jam since baby days but this place takes the cake. I got the shock and awe breakfast for 5 DOLLARS! And I'll happily say it again for the people in the back. For 2 eggs a solid set of meat and rice I can't complain. I love my set scrambled and they did it quite well. Outside of the cash only part which id definitely forget going again (which I understand why) its a perfect place for your pre work meal or even during! It boggles me how this place was hated on.“

“After researching multiple Luau’s in Oahu, I decided on Toa and oh my gosh, I’m so glad I did! This show blew us all away! “We had stumbled on Camille's Restaurant and we fell in love with the food and the owners. Recently our Mom passed away and immediately Camille's came to mind for the catering because their food feeds the soul...they cook from the heart and it translates into the flavors of the food. Everyone loved everything ...we had the Lau laus, kalua pig, BBQ chicken, and the smoked meat...everything was cooked and packed with so much love and care it was touching and it overwhelmed our hearts!!! “Take out only. The have a vast variety of manapua, both steamed and baked. Staff is very friendly, efficient and puts a smile on my face. Makes a great impression when you are walking into a meeting, gathering, etc cause although everyone loves manapua, pork hash, half moon, rice cake, etc. Most people never think about this option which is far superior to donuts or other pastries.“

“In the past, I would only order the noodle trays or plates for pot luck. Recently, I started buying their plate lunches, and suddenly realized what I’ve been missing. I ordered their fish and chips and chicken katsu. Both came with ultra generous servings and I believe the fish and chips was THE Best I’ve ever tasted. I served 30 years in the Army and 22 years as a civilian for the Marine Corps….. and have travelled all over the United States and a good portion of other countries, and I swear the Mililani Restaurant’s fish and chips IS the very Best I’ve ever eaten. The owners are very friendly. There are picnic tables (both covered and uncovered) are available; just don't feed the chickens from next door that will come to visit you!“

“This is the perfect hidden food place that locals go to. Good food, good prices and the service is practically non existent. Meaning, it's 99% take out. There is a small table outside but that's why it's cool. No nonsense food at a good price. I highly recommend the Bento #1, the Katsu and the fried chicken.

Parking: The parking is hard to find but if you wait for a few minutes someone will leave.“

The coffee is super tasty and the food perfectly prepared with a nice portion! My favorite is the sweet bread French toast combo- comes with choice of egg and choice of meat.

This Zippys is super clean, spacious, lots of booths, and nice selection of pastries.

Plus we love the Hawaiian music which not all Zippys have.

This will be our go-to from now on!“

“I was told that the owners of Miki’s opened this business to serve food for all the people working graveyard shift or finished work late.

With that being said, this place has the best food anywhere in this time frame 12am - 3am. Miki’s is an amazing change of food choices for late at night.

-The plates are cheaper with big servings compared to other places.
-Lines get long but the wait time after ordering is never past 10 minutes.
-Parking is fun because it’s either on the curb or the side of the street.

If you’re comparing this place to Zippys or anything like that, then go there shut up. “Stumbled upon the food trucks when we were in the area. Decided to try this one out, which turned out to be good. The special was a steak dish and also had the pork/chicken combo.
Everything was pretty good, however the menu song doesn’t let you know everything you are getting. I didn’t know the chicken was with noodles, the special didn’t specify the sides, etc.
In any event, enjoyed it all (even though the Mac salad is like 45% mayo)
Would definitely get the kalua pork and absolutely would get the steak special again. It was my favourite.“

“Chilling with my niece and nephew in the center of a supermarket sipping on a glass of red wine and eating some really delicious pupu’s from Pau Hana Bar located inside Foodland Farms Pearl City.

Everything we eat here has a local touch to it but the highlight for us is always the Sizzling Ribeye Steak with Onions and Mushrooms served with a Butter Kabayaki Sauce. It was fire!

We also had the Pan Fried Ahi Belly Chinese Style, Ika Karaage, Gojuchang Fried Chicken Wings, Ahi Poke, Shishito Peppers, Furikake Salmon Salad and the Fried Rice.

Love the vibe and atmosphere here and the service is always top notch. I love how they all work together and there is always somewhere within reach if you need anything.“

The chicken is juicy and incredibly flavorful and same for the short rib. The macaroni salad was also so good! My wife hates mayo and she loved it. “I was over-charged by at least $10, but by not contesting cost until three weeks later, manager(?) denied bilking me. Went to eat with friend, and was too busy to think about questioning cost. Manager tabulated items separately, unseen; however, three weeks later, cost was rung up and available to be reviewed. Both times, no tabulation of items bought presented, just the charge. Yeah, my bad.“
