“We had the seafood combo, the teriyaki steak bowl, double cheeseburger deluxe, chicken sandwich and two orders of fries , 3 fountain drinks and a coconut water. Steak bowl was small but it was very filling. Burger was huge and so was the chicken sandwich. Seafood combo was delicious. Definitely recommend“

“I got rec'd to try this this place by my cousin who used to work here and when I somehow found myself in wahiawa I figured why not. She wasn't kidding when she said hole in the wall as it's just a couple tables and that's it. I was looking to order the honey garlic chicken as it's supposedly that's what they're famous for, but I ended up going for the miso garlic chicken instead, as that sound sounded kind of interesting as well. Food came out relatively fast and look to be portioning well. I love a very crispy chicken. That's not too meaty and this one hit just the spot. I was definitely surprised at the miso was like a drizzle as well as the sauce underneath so the bottom ones got more coverage in the top but they were all evenly well done. I also as you know, love heaping scoops of rice and the scoops of rice here were phenomenal. I do eventually want to go back and try the honey garlic chicken and ideally their cherry pork chops, cause that look good too. I think the only thing holding it back from the five is that these items for whatever reason fall under combination plate plates and therefore do not get a mini. I wasn't exactly looking to get a regular plate as it was 17 bucks but they said that it was the only way I could get it so I semi understand but don't. Overall relatively solid place if you're OK with dealing it with that.“

“It's rare to find a place so cheap and yet so delicious! I was dropping off my old man and found out about a unicorn in today's economy a solid breakfast, plate lunch or bento all 20 bucks or less. Now okazuyas been my jam since baby days but this place takes the cake. I got the shock and awe breakfast for 5 DOLLARS! And I'll happily say it again for the people in the back. For 2 eggs a solid set of meat and rice I can't complain. I love my set scrambled and they did it quite well. Outside of the cash only part which id definitely forget going again (which I understand why) its a perfect place for your pre work meal or even during! It boggles me how this place was hated on.“

“After researching multiple Luau’s in Oahu, I decided on Toa and oh my gosh, I’m so glad I did! This show blew us all away! The food was amazing, the performers were amazingly talented and everyone was so incredibly friendly. We really did feel like part of their family towards the end of the night! “This was our stop back to the main city from the lagoon and man was it worth it. We tried the Kalbi beef plate mix with shrimp and Kalua pig plate. Fantastic 10/10 delicious. A lovely spot with outwardly delicious food. The service was kind and engaging. Loved the servers and host. It also has an amazing view of the gold course (no reservation or ticket needed) good spot for breakfast and lunch. Do yourself a favor and please visit this spot. 10/10 will visit again!“

“This is my first time here.This place in my opinion has solid local old school tradition and not just vibes but deep Hawaii local Aura. I found out from owner Mike that they make their own noodles in house and their noodles are as good as Shige’s in Waiahawa. This place is my new favorite for local style fried noodles. Next time I come I’ll try the saimin and cheese burger, and or the chicken katsu curry or cold ginger chicken. It’s not fancy but the food is affordable and so Ono. I got the fish and chips and a mini fried Saimin.

“Take out only. The have a vast variety of manapua, both steamed and baked. Staff is very friendly, efficient and puts a smile on my face. “Really tasty food with generous portions. Food is cooked to order, so is fresh and very hot. The spicy shrimp is truly that so be ready for the heat! The lemon pepper shrimp was also delicious. The owners are very friendly. There are picnic tables (both covered and uncovered) are available; just don't feed the chickens from next door that will come to visit you!“

“We had stumbled on Camille's Restaurant and we fell in love with the food and the owners. Recently our Mom passed away and immediately Camille's came to mind for the catering because their food feeds the soul...they cook from the heart and it translates into the flavors of the food. Everyone loved everything ...we had the Lau laus, kalua pig, BBQ chicken, and the smoked meat...everything was cooked and packed with so much love and care it was touching and it overwhelmed our hearts!!! “Ordered spicy salmon and spicy ahi with sushi rice on DoorDash, and it was honestly top TWO poke places I’ve had so far in Oahu.

I’ve tried multiple Foodlands, I’ve tried the Morning Catch place in Chinatown that was famous on TikTok, and I will say that this place has some really tasty and enjoyable poke.

I also want to add that they add a nice reusable big with the doordash order too.“

“I specially went to Aloha Island Manapua bc I saw online that they make the fried ginger chicken plate on rice. I will say that they’re is better than Island Manapua in Manoa. Manoa’s was extra salty. The Waipahu location also gives more chicken & rice for $15 something. Their ginger onion sauce was dry and not liquidy and was heavy on the green onions, less ginger. Kinda weird ratio of ingredients. See from the photos.“

“Best food in town, The best meal we had during our 8 days in Hawaii was at this restaurant! We visited with a group of 10 people, and every single one of us was amazed by the incredible flavors and outstanding service. “This is the perfect hidden food place that locals go to. Good food, good prices and the service is practically non existent. Meaning, it's 99% take out. There is a small table outside but that's why it's cool. No nonsense food at a good price. I highly recommend the Bento #1, the Katsu and the fried chicken.

Parking: The parking is hard to find but if you wait for a few minutes someone will leave.“

The coffee is super tasty and the food perfectly prepared with a nice portion! My favorite is the sweet bread French toast combo- comes with choice of egg and choice of meat.

This Zippys is super clean, spacious, lots of booths, and nice selection of pastries.

Plus we love the Hawaiian music which not all Zippys have.

This will be our go-to from now on!“

“I was told that the owners of Miki’s opened this business to serve food for all the people working graveyard shift or finished work late.

With that being said, this place has the best food anywhere in this time frame 12am - 3am. Miki’s is an amazing change of food choices for late at night.

-The plates are cheaper with big servings compared to other places.
-Lines get long but the wait time after ordering is never past 10 minutes.
-Parking is fun because it’s either on the curb or the side of the street.

People reviewing this place needs to realize this hole-in-the-wall food business is meant for people like me. Those who work late into the night, that’s my demographic. If you’re comparing this place to Zippys or anything like that, then go there shut up. This place makes all their food with love, that beats anything opened after hours to me, no 7/11, McDonald’s, no fast food place can compete that.“

“Stumbled upon the food trucks when we were in the area. Decided to try this one out, which turned out to be good. The special was a steak dish and also had the pork/chicken combo.
Everything was pretty good, however the menu song doesn’t let you know everything you are getting. I didn’t know the chicken was with noodles, the special didn’t specify the sides, etc.
In any event, enjoyed it all (even though the Mac salad is like 45% mayo)
Would definitely get the kalua pork and absolutely would get the steak special again. It was my favourite.“

“Food is surprisingly delicious for this place. My wife ordered the BBQ chicken and I got the bbq short rib. The portion sizes are huge, a mini is more than enough for one person. The chicken is juicy and incredibly flavorful and same for the short rib. The macaroni salad was also so good! My wife hates mayo and she loved it. The service was pretty meh, not bad not good, and atmosphere is close to a fast food joint. Overall if you’re looking for quick good food at a good price, this spot is for you.“

“I was over-charged by at least $10, but by not contesting cost until three weeks later, manager(?) denied bilking me. Went to eat with friend, and was too busy to think about questioning cost. Manager tabulated items separately, unseen; however, three weeks later, cost was rung up and available to be reviewed. Both times, no tabulation of items bought presented, just the charge. Yeah, my bad.“
