“Best hole in the wall. Steak Plate with rice, salad/ranch, and then adding the BEST teriyaki sauce in the world to the whole thing is our family’s go to! My husband and I share the large plate usually but sometimes we both get regulars to have some for later it’s so good!

We were blown away by the mac salad, the chicken katsu, Korean fried chicken were super good, and the dobash cake was incredible, not too heavy and not too rich/sweet. We ordered the noodles too, and those were okay, but the standout for us was the mac salad, chicken, and cake. It all fed our family of 5 with leftovers.“

“Super helpful staff, can't give a 5 for food because I'm from NY so obviously I'm a pizza snob. But the staff couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating.

Ordered 5 pizza, 36 wings and bread sticks 1.5 hours ahead and everything was hot and ready on time.“

“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This Subway is THE BEST! My husband and I eat at Subways most days and we live right near the one on Keolu Drive. We skip by that one to come to this one on Hamakua for a few reasons. 1. These sandwiches and salads are made better than anywhere on the island. Actually, they are better than any Subway we've ever been too including those on the mainland and we've been to a lot! They give plenty of veggies and listen to how you want your sandwich made. 2. The team is fast. Even if the line is long, they'll get your sandwich made quickly. 3. These guys are so nice and friendly. They feel like our family now. “The garlic chicken here is so good! We ordered a regular plate to share and it was more than enough! The staff were nice and service was fast. The shop inside is small so you just order your food and there's seating outside. This place is Perfect for picking up food before you go to the beach! They have a lot of options on the menu.“

“This Taco Bell and the Marine Corps food court is pretty good. The food isn't that great but the service is, which is what makes it awesome. The presentation is not good, but the workers are so nice and they're so awesome. There's just one guy named Kenzo Kenzo's the goat. He makes it fun. Going to Taco Bell cause like he enjoys himself so it's like entertaining. He's just kind of silly you know. 10 out of 10.“

“Wonderful! I placed the order online, and it was to my hotel door in like 20 minutes. And it is delicious! Unlike other locations, they baked my pizza well-done without baking the cheese sticks well-done. A+

Parking: It's a big old parking lot shared with the main exchange and the commissary.

“Truly good chain pizza branch. Been eating here last 2 years, everybody working there have always been nice and welcoming. I don't know why this place got this low of a rating, but it does not reflect how it's like these days.

“I ate here on my recent trip to Kona. I was happy to find the same menu items that I’m used to on the mainland. The quality and taste of the food were also in line with what I’m used to at home. This place seems like a good value for money compared to some other places I ate at in Kona. I didn’t get a fortune cookie with my meal though, which I’m used to getting at home. Not a big deal, but I noticed.“

“Went to get lunch at this subway today with a friend, the counter staff provided great customer service and made us great sandwiches. The only bad part of our experience was a short female manager there was being extremely rude to the young employees working there and was not very kind to us as customers. I would return for another lunch but they should consider new management.“
