“As a Mexican living on the island it is very hard to find authentic Mexican food. Been here for three years and just tried their food yesterday. I was skeptical but omg the birria was nice and tender with flavor! They don’t skimp out on the portions either. I wish I would have found this place sooner! The atmosphere is nice and clean! Definitely coming back !“

“Whole Foods Happy Hour Foods were excellent and delicious. We had the chicken wings, cauliflower bites, and Caesar salad. Seriously, better than the other brewery close by. I also had the Honolulu beer with the interesting name. We returned several times for other great foods in the restaurant. Highly recommend sitting in the outside patio.“

“Cute little spot, very similar to Chipotle or Qdoba, but we liked supporting a local place. We ordered two chicken bowls and a steak burrito. Portion sizes were pretty large, we felt it was good value. Salsas were flavorful, especially the corn.“

“Gentleman working the drive thru made sure that my order was correct before I got to the window, and once again before taking my payment. I ordered with some extra of one thing and none of another, so he wanted to make sure it was done right. I really appreciated that. Food tasted amazing and was just as I had requested!“
“This Taco Bell and the Marine Corps food court is pretty good. The food isn't that great but the service is, which is what makes it awesome. The presentation is not good, but the workers are so nice and they're so awesome. There's just one guy named Kenzo Kenzo's the goat. He makes it fun. Going to Taco Bell cause like he enjoys himself so it's like entertaining. He's just kind of silly you know. 10 out of 10.“

“Good food, friendly customer service, fun ambience. Good place to go, whether you’re by yourself or part of a party. Everyone’s welcome! Not much else to say. It is a small restaurant with a small parking lot, so space fills up quickly, especially on weekends.“

“SO GOOD 🤩 My husband & I stumbled across this place by shopping in the near by area. We ordered a burrito & beer batter fish tacos and omg…. genuinely 10/10. “Now called Javi’s. Food was great! The waitress was super nice and attentive. The food came out fast, hot, and fresh. I wish the queso dip wasn’t over $12, but the other dishes are reasonably priced. BYOB at the moment until they get their liquor license. There’s a market next door that might have alcoholic beverages. There’s parking lot is a little cramped, so massive trucks would be hard to park in there.“

“If you’re on the hunt for legit Mexican food in Honolulu, this is probably your best option.
Casual counter serve restaurant specializing in tacos. Don’t miss the taco Tuesday prices for the best value. Fish, shrimp, and carnitas are perfect. Steak and chicken are second tier, but are cheaper. I wish they had flour tortilla option instead of just corn.
I’ve always praised their habanero salsa as the best on island, but it was weak and watery on my last visit. Really hoping it was just a bad batch and they didn’t change the recipe. They eliminated the salsa bar and you have to ask for it from behind the counter now, which was a bit strange.
The food is great, but I docked a star for speed. I feel like it's too slow for a place serving up street tacos. I recommend ordering at least 30 minutes ahead if you plan to dine in. The dining room is small and a little bland, but at least they have one.“

“Hard to find. But when you see the grill outside you know you are at the right place. Am pescatarian- will tell you these are the best fresh fish tacos w/ beans and rice I have had! Service is quick and friendly. Menu changes with demand. Highly recommended - always come here after beach or when friends are in town“

“Variety of items. I ordered a pork sandwich and a lot of the contents fell out. However, there was still plenty in the sandwich. Halfway through I wasn't sure if I could finish it but it was so delicious that I did. The soda I bought was delicious also. Never had it before. Sangria. Anyway, the point is I highly recommend this place. Not just because there's not another Mexican place unless you go to Mexico. Naw, I'm pretty sure there's closer places, San Diego probably. “Had the Adobada MexiBowl and it was so delicious! Everything is seasoned well - the Red rice and the beans are nicely spiced, the pork had great flavor and Char, and everything just complimented each other so nicely! And I was able to get it without cilantro (yay!). I will be back! This food truck is YUMMY!“

Birria tacos were done of the best tacos I've had in years! High quality meat and very flavorful.
The Elote was also super tasty.
Expensive for this cheap guy, but totally worth it today!“

“A night out with friends. I wish we had similar service levels in Australia - Cole was friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Starters were guacamole and salsa with corn chips. Low level heat in the salsa and an obviously in house made guacamole. We aren't Mexican savvy so we decided to order the Mahi Mahi de la Paz and the Chili Rojo Burrito and swap halfway through. The serves were generous but because of the great food and flavours we managed. Great value compared with options in Waikiki. Well patronised but i can see why.“
