“We had a young man today make our sandwiches today and I was impressed with his intentional skill when it came to presentation and layering. We visited 3/9/26 sometime around 1230pm. Just wanted to give him kudos and thank you for his time and service.“

“The garlic and lemon garlic shrimp was good. The atmosphere of having all the food trucks around several large picnic tables produced a cool ambiance, however, if the wind stops blowing the smell of oil frying is a bit overwhelming. Not in a rush to come back but certainly worth the visit.“

“Zippy’s is basically the Hawaiian version of Denny’s, with all the comfort-food classics and local favorites. I ordered the Lau Lau and Kalua Pork combo, which was one of their Friday specials, and it was such a satisfying Hawaiian plate. My husband got the Korean Fried Chicken, and it definitely did not disappoint! Crispy, flavorful, and really tasty. Zippy’s is a great spot when you want something casual, comforting, and authentically Hawaii-style. 🌺🍽“

“Best hole in the wall. Steak Plate with rice, salad/ranch, and then adding the BEST teriyaki sauce in the world to the whole thing is our family’s go to! My husband and I share the large plate usually but sometimes we both get regulars to have some for later it’s so good!
Always always call ahead!“

“I bought junk mayonnaise and pasta as Mac salad with raw chicken and shoyu gravy ... all on top of the Mac salad. Unbelievable. The rice was pellets like the cook doesn't care. I guess when you from another country you cannot tell how bad the food is. They got cheap on us. $16 of trash.“

“Im not sure where all these people went that are complaining about how bad it was but i hit the spot in downtown crossing boston for my very first trip to one and was an absolutely incredible meal. tenders were tender flavorful and juicy the texas toast was awesome the whole meal came out perfect. i was already on about a 3 mile boston adventure so i opted for the lemonade instead of my usual soda with meal and i will always get the lemondae. awesome job guys!“

“This place deserves the best rating for the best fried chicken in the island - regardless of price point. I understand the crowds and lines of people always waiting for the fried chicken (the other main dish offerings, I’m not so sure). If you love fried chicken, you will love this fast food place (keeping in mind, that the lines renders the concept of ‘fast food’ relative). Notwithstanding any wait, the fried chicken is always freshly made and hot & tasty.“

“I appreciated having a canes in Hawaii! My girls loved the familiarity and I loved the fact that I could get a gallon to tea to take with us. Food was good. Service was nice and fast! It’s in a food court but we never had trouble finding some where to sit. We did have to clean our table.“

“I love this place and always have. I have been patronizing chick-fil-a since the 80s before they even had stand alone restaurants. They were similar to hot dog on a stick sized shops. You can never go wrong with them either.. They are off on the day of resurrection which is respectable and Im sure appreciated by its employees. They hold true to their values and will succeed because of God.“

“I stopped by Teddy’s Bigger Burgers recently because I was craving something easy but substantial. The atmosphere definitely has that typical fast food restaurant feel where you just grab a seat and wait for your number, but the food itself is on a completely different level than a standard chain. It is a great spot for when you are in a rush but still want a meal that actually tastes like it was prepared with some effort.
The quality of the burgers is much better than what you would find at a traditional fast food joint. You can tell the meat is fresher and the portions are generous, staying true to the name. I usually just get a regular burger because the basic quality is so good, but they actually have a ton of different options for toppings and combos if you are looking for more variety. It is nice to have the choice to dress it up with specialty ingredients or just keep it simple.
The patty is always cooked well and seasoned properly, and the bun doesn't get soggy, which is usually my biggest complaint with quick-service burgers. It is a very straightforward experience without any unnecessary bells and whistles. You get your food quickly, it tastes great, and it fills you up. The fries are also worth mentioning because they have a good crunch to them and aren't just limp or overly salty. For anyone looking for a high-quality burger in a casual, quick environment, this place hits the mark perfectly. Its a reliable pick for a quick lunch or a low-key dinner when I don't feel like dealing with a full-service restaurant.“

“This is one of my lunch spot when I worked in the university. Wednesdays they had kare kare and it was always so comforting. and bilobilo, when i need some warm sweets during rainy day it's just the best. also i do not like bitter melon but their pinakbet i would eat.
During lunch hour there's a long line in the restaurant so it may feel weird to dine in. but I always grab it to go.
this is one of the spot that I miss the most after i moved away.“
“The owners of this restaurant are absolutely fantastic and incredibly nice, not to mention the absolutely amazing food I got. I got the shrimp fried rice and it was one of the best things I have ever had, I highly recommend this place a visit!“

“I finally made it to Musubi Café Iyasume in Ala Moana—and wow, when I say they have options… I mean OPTIONS. This might be the biggest selection of musubi I’ve personally ever seen. Like, if you’re used to grabbing something quick from 7-Eleven (no shade), this is a whole different experience.
For my first visit, I kept it classic and went with the teriyaki spam musubi—and yeah, it did not disappoint. The spam was cooked perfectly with that sweet, glossy teriyaki glaze that just hits right. The rice was slightly on the mild side at first, but they give you a soy sauce packet, and once you add that? Game changer. It brought everything together.
Honestly, if you’re coming here, you HAVE to try the teriyaki at least once—but don’t stop there. They’ve got a crazy variety, including a bunch of mini musubi if you want to mix and match.
Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in Ala Moana. Come hungry.“

“Rada's Piroscki is a Downtown staple. All the workers in the area know this place for a reason. They only have a couple items on the menu because they focus on them and do those items extremely well. I remember growning up, when my dad went to town, if we were lucky, he'd either bring back pirosckis or Char Hung Sut manapua for us. This is an iconic piece of downtown cuisine. Grab and go food for the working masses perfected. There's just nothing else like it on island.“

“I love finding these small joints that are turning out delicious and generous food at reasonable prices. I wanted to get the braised beef noodle, but they were out so I (reluctantly) ordered char sui noodle. I'm not a big fan of char sui because it normally is too sweet and fatty, but this place really turned me on my head! The meat was tender, and caramelized/ roasted to have the perfect amount of char taste (the picture is a half portion - it was so yummy I just scarfed it down quickly!). The marinade wasn't sweet, and they gave a nice portion separate from the noodles. The soup was piping hot and satisfying, full of noodles and veggies. My kid really liked their pork hash, which was big, plump, and generously filled. We also had the rice cake (it tastes like potu), tea cookies (big hit with my sweet-tooth hubby), and almond cookies. I'll be going back to get that braised beef noodle & eat dim sum one of these days! The inside isn't much too look at, but give it a shot - you & your belly will not regret it.“

“Our family had dinner here where we ordered the ohana meals. We were blown away by the mac salad, the chicken katsu, Korean fried chicken were super good, and the dobash cake was incredible, not too heavy and not too rich/sweet. We ordered the noodles too, and those were okay, but the standout for us was the mac salad, chicken, and cake. It all fed our family of 5 with leftovers.“

“Great spot if you like building your own pizza! I love how you can customize everything — crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings. The pizza comes out hot and fresh from the oven, and the flavors are really good.
The place is clean, service is friendly, and it’s a nice casual spot to grab a quick meal. Perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner in Kaneohe. I’ll definitely be back!“

“The reason we went to Jack in the box is because, on 1st year anniversary, we were to Hawaii and we spent all of our money and the only thing you can afford for the last day, was he Jack in the box. So we decided to go back again for a 30th anniversary. I still love the tacos.“
