St. Louis Drive Inn Reviews
I got to say the quality has gone down hill. My regular bento was just not like the past. Sloppy put together, and my Teri beef was black hard and burnt. Don’t you the chef care what you send out? My luncheon meat had a hole in the middle. Take pride in what you cook. Sorry may not ever go there again. Wish I could attach the photo I took.
The best food and value for your money. Coming from NY we headed straight here for their box lunches. They did not disappoint, be sure to drop by and be prepared to eat well.
We had the combo plate. Tempura, sashimi, teriyaki beef and pork chop. Excellent!

St. Louis Drive Inn is a good old stand by, simple, reasonable, and good. The parking lot is small but adequate. This family owned business serves hot, fresh, and bomb food. The Japanese deluxe plate is liked, with dine in sashimi that was refreshing and cold. A shoyu chicken plate for $12.04 tax included is a great deal, competitive with Rainbow Drive In. Their BBQ cheeseburger is a must-try with generous portion sizes for the price. The crispy fries and onion rings are the perfect side. The service is always friendly and fast, even when busy. Some breakfasts start at $7. The place is not renovated and gives a nostalgia feeling. However, one visit noted the food was old and cold, with shrimp tempura and grilled chicken being cold at 4:30pm. Despite this, it is a gem with consistently delicious food, offering classic drive-in favorites with a Hawaiian twist. It is a casual spot, perfect for a quick bite or taking food to-go for the beach.
