“Their coffee is delicious, we ordered a regular venti coffee and a peppermint mocha frappe. Both were very yummy. We also ordered a breakfast bento and it was pretty good. The rice was luke warm but not bad. Nice little coffee place. CASH ONLY and no ATM.“

“Awesome beach on the windward side. There's a military checkpoint at the entrance, so it's only accessible if you have military ID. Because of this, it won't get too crowded and not so much riff-raff.Secure area with a large, shaded pavilion and lots of tables. Full bathrooms (not nasty porta potties) and outside showers. Definitely family friendly. Waves on this side of the island are pretty mild to moderate later in the year. Soft sand, warm, blue water, and the occasional jellyfish. Watch out. So darn good, though. Top 3 beach on this island for me.“

“Nice little McDonald's. Small seating area and smaller parking lot. Workers were friendly, food was accurate and delivered quickly. Be careful pulling in and out of the parking lot as it is close to the road and people drive fast out there!“

“After eating lunch in the food hall, we needed something to cleanse our palates, and matcha seemed like the perfect solution. We got the matcha and vanilla swirl and decided to get it in a cup instead of the cone--I can be clumsy sometimes so the cup seemed to be the safer option haha. The gentleman who took my order was very sweet and the order was ready as soon as I sat down at one of the tables nearby. I loved how the ice cream or soft serve wasn't very sweet, it was the perfect post-lunch dessert. For Waikiki, I thought the price was quite reasonable, so I'd definitely come back to try some of their other items.“

“A very cute cafe with a nice mix of different flavored drinks! Super cozy and I can see myself definitely being able to get some work done. The service was nice and answered all the questions I had for them. The drink itself tasted nice but I got a normal drink. I'll definitely try a different drink next time.“

“I have been here several times over the past year for "high tea." It is always amazing, from the food & service to the beautiful ocean and courtyard views. We celebrated our anniversary with friend from out of state and everything was wonderful. We all chose the Moana Classic Tea with finger sandwiches, sweet offerings, tropical sorbet and tea (we each chose a different flavor). A few of my favorites (this time) were the Ratatouille Tart and the Smoked Salmon Mousse Blini, but I really enjoyed them all.Our friend has a food allergy and our server was very accommodating. He made other suggestions to some of the sandwiches and all of the "exchanges" were fabulous. Each time we have been, the menu has changed, although most of the tea's are the same flavors (only 2 or 3 have changed). The quality of the food is the same (5 stars)I would definitely suggest Moana Surfer Rider - The Veranda at the Beachhouse for all of your special occasions.Parking: The Valet parking is free with validation of "High Tea" service. Otherwise, there is parking across the street at International Market Place garage (I am not sure what the current rates are).“

“This place is a tiny little shack in a parking lot and it really packs a punch. We parked at the Taco Bell and walked to it. The girl working was super nice and told us about what was in the drinks. I got the coconut cloud chai which has some spiciness but more as an after flavor. The coconut cream is super yummy. My husband got a vanilla bean and brown sugar latte and it was great. Defiantly recommend going here.“

“Came here for lunch on a weekday. It was bustling but efficient.I got the club sandwich and I have to say, pretty damned tasty!! I love a good club sandwich. This had fresh tomatoes, fresh soft avocado, nice meats, and the bacon was perfect with just the right amount of crunch.The bagel it came on was delicious as well. It came with a tiny salad which had very fresh greens.I'd come back here in an instant! The place is kept spotless and service was friendly and professional.“

“This is the cutest local coffee shop I've been to. We went to Ctown on Easter for supplies and stopped by this cute coffee shop for some caffeine. The mr said he sometimes comes here to work while having his coffee. I ordered a cold americano and w oatmilk and it did not disappoint. If I am in the area I will definitely return. “A wonderful place! The cats are very well cared for and loved, the staff is just fantastic. We adopted a lovely older cat named Jolene and she has been a wonderful addition to our ohana. She was a little shy at first, but quickly warmed up and has become very playful and affectionate with us. That speaks to how well-cared-for she was. We would have never found her if not for the people at Popoki and Tea cat cafe.. And local broadcaster KGMB for featuring them. Her adoption fee was $0 because someone had already donated to pay for her adoption, so in turn we paid the adoption fees for another cat that needs a loving home. A few of the cats there are available with no adoption fee so if you're interested and money, is a concern this is a good option.“

“Passed this place by for months because I didn’t care for the “pro-Jesus” Bible thumping verse on the window outside but decided to overlook that this morning to see if it was as cute inside as it was outside and boy what an experience! Except for the Christian smut this place is a feast for the eyes and cute as HELL! Very cutesy but tastefully Sanrio/Harajuku oriented literally from top to bottom. My wallet was opening up all by itself. But on top of that the young man that took my order, after patiently waiting for me to finish taking pictures and videos was thoughtful, sweet, thorough and friendly. My mocha was spot on and although my orange cranberry scone was more biscuity than sconey there were a ton of other items on my list to try next time around including vegan options.What made this place stand out, though, was KINDNESS! There was an older, barefoot, unkempt man in a hospital gown that came into the store and ordered a coffee to go. He had trouble speaking and trouble walking but the young man took his order, served him and then came out to the door and opened it for him so he could walk out easily. When the same man came in later for a second cup of coffee the young man’s friend, who was also a customer, took note and got up and opened the door for him. THAT’s aloha! Put me to shame - I was kind of scared of that man. But those young people showed compassion and aloha. I love it and I’ll be back!“

“My wife and I are visiting Hawaii from Canada. We just completed the Kailua Pillbox hike and thought we deserved a coffee and pastry. The cafe is warm and inviting and the young lady working the coffee bar was very pleasant and welcoming. The blueberry scones were delicious and the cappuccinos were the best we’ve ever tasted in the USA. Wait. That makes me sound like a coffee snob. Let me change that to, “I have never enjoyed a coffee more in the States!”“

“Food wise they really deserve five star, best açaí bowl for me in Honolulu. However customer service first time they deserve a one star, stand there for five minutes, two staff a lady and a guy just talking to each other, no one wants takes the order.. I was shocked. Second time I went back for the food, the guy was super nice. I guess it depends on who’s working, but still, the first time experience was not something I would like to experience.“

“A friend of mine who is from the area said this is a must stop for the best açaí bowl on the island. So I had to try it. And he was right. The Tropical Tribe Bowl with the tropical topping and bee pollen was the way to go. It truly was the perfect bowl and everything about it was tasty. Plus, you can sit outside and soak in the beach vibes and watch the sunset. A solid experience overall and a place I recommend you visit.“

The space is bright and clean, with a cool mural.. the vibe is just a little “corporate” but in a local small business kinda way, so it works..Definitely recommend.“

We were greeted by a friendly gentleman and he talked to us about how they make their own unsweetened organic almond milk (which is not the norm at coffee spots!). Ordered 2 iced lattes with almond milk (extra charge for that) and a lilikoi bar. Almond milk was nice and creamy in the latte and the coffee itself was strong. Lilikoi bar was pretty tasty. I would recommend coming here to support this local business!“

Someone on the staff was having trouble with the remote control window shades, which are essential during the sunset hour. They kept going up and down which was a little distracting. “While at port, we stopped by this cute little place for our first cup of coffee of the day. We were greeted with a friendly smile! We ordered 2 cold brews and an ube bread. The flavor of the cold brew was fantastic, with a nice smooth flavor. The ube bread was recommended by the staff, so we gave it a try, it was also really good, highly recommend it! The ambiance of the spot was very mellow and laid back. The little birds were a sweet sight to watch while enjoying or coffee and treat. (The Lego Ukulele in the photo is ours)“

“I visited around 9:00 in the morning.At first, the seats were full and there was a long line at the register, but as time passed, the seats became empty.I ordered an Americano and an acai ball.The coffee was flavorful and delicious. The acai bowl is hearty and topped with ice cream and fruit.It's a little expensive for breakfast, but I was satisfied.The clerk was very kind, and when I asked in my poor English if it was possible to make it decaf, she happily replied that of course it could be done.“

“Great local coffee shop that acts as a gathering place for the community. Staff is always pleasant. They are helpful to make sure your order is exactly as you’d like. The coffee is sourced from small roasters. Tea is by Rishi. The cookies are excellent. The red miso cookie is incredible and a must try. Every time I have been here, it has been busy. However, the staff does a great job of getting quality products out quickly. When I go to Kaimuki this is a must stop.“

“Super fresh and delightful food from Bella Banh Mi Cafe! I can honestly say that this is the best banh mi I have ever had and I have had a lot of banh mis in my lifetime! I loved the smoked flavor to the meats. They give more insides than bread or wrapper, which is hard to come by these days. They put generous amounts of cucumber, carrots, and Chinese parsley in my sandwich and I enjoyed every last bite! The bread was perfect - flaky with lots of crunch. The summer rolls filled with bbq pork had that great charbroiled taste too and they did not skimp on the meat. The homemade peanut dipping sauce was perfection! This was a delicious and filling lunch! I simply cannot wait to come back!“

“All good things. Pour over was good. All the food we had was great. They recommended the breakfast sandwich and it didn't disappoint - very filling. My kids had the Maffle and cinnamon bread thingy. I thought the cinnamon bread was more like a French toast, turns out it was more of a cinnamon roll - good but I would try something else next time. The maffle was the better of the two - it had a good crunch and very tasty with the ube syrup thing. Just wish we had sat in the courtyard to eat vs inside the shop. Next time!“

“I've been wanting to try the soufflé pancake with boba and I was finally able to!This came with 3 stacks of the soufflé pancake drizzled in brown sugar, a type of cream, and boba! The pancake is so fluffy, it tasted great with all the sauces and boba. Because everything else is so sweet, I liked how the soufflé pancake wasn't as sweet. I could taste the different sauces and pancakes, and how it complimented each other. I shared this and left feeling full! The soufflé does taste a bit strong in egg, but makes sense as that's how it becomes a soufflé.“

“My family stayed at the Hawaiian Hilton for a weekend, we walked by this shop a few times, the line was always long. On our last day, there was no line so we decided to grab coffee. As we walked in, the staff seemed busy making coffee for other customers. There were no greetings as we waited. We eventually ordered, chai latte, expresso, and the kids wanted to try the chocolate chip cookies. We received the chai latte and expresso, then waited and waited but no cookie. I finally went back to the counter after 10 minutes and asked for the cookie. The shop got busy so most likely they forgot about the cookie. Nonetheless, we drank the latte and expresso, both were good. My husband liked his expresso, he said it was better than Starbucks. I enjoyed my latte but I will stick with Starbucks. The cookie was amazing though, we decided to get more, plus the rainbow sugar cookie. All were delicious.“

Also, there’s on-site limited parking, which I didn’t know about so I ended up parking at the paid parking lot across the street.I ordered the hot matcha latte with oat milk and no sweetener. I wanted to try it without any additives except just milk and it was still good, with only the taste of matcha, but I do recommend adding a sweetener if you’re used to drinking matcha lattes with a little more flavor.The salt and butter bun was served warm and very buttery (as you can see in my photo) and delicious. It complimented my matcha and I’m glad I got it.There is limited outdoor seating and it was very comfortable and relaxing! Def check this place out for your matcha beverage needs!“

“We had just got off the plane and typed in coffee shops in Google and boy did this place wow us. My partner ordered a cold brew which I usually don’t drink but this one was delicious! A naturally sweet, not too acidic cold brew. So good. Max was the barista and he was great - so friendly and easy to talk to. Would definitely come back!“
