No, but the peace is worth more than gold. If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay....wait, why am I telling you all about this place? I'm sure you can find a better place to suit your needs and desires. This probably isn't what you're looking for. I hear that the military resort in Korea is nice. You should check it out.“

“Great for what it is. Great people, Great atmosphere, Great location. Food is fine and gets it done. They have a starbucks machine that delivered for us when I needed my caffeine fix. The breakfast sandwichs where bot as hot as i hoped but overall im glad this place is here. Definitely coming back. Cant complain in paradise.“

“This is my go to coffee place! It’s just outside of Waikiki on Kapahulu Avenue! The owners are amazing and they take pride in everything they do. The coffee shop is always clean, smells amazing and welcoming for anyone that wants to grab a quick bite, some really good coffee or to talk stories on one of their tables. It’s nice to meet up with friends here and get hydrated and caffeinated while catching up before the drive home or to work! Highly recommend their hot mocha!“

“People seem to come here for matcha but their EARL GREY GELATO is the best EVER. I have tried so many earl grey desserts. This is one of the best. I tried earl grey, hojicha, lilikoi, matcha, black sesame and ube. They are all amazing. Loved the rich flavors.

“My wife and I went here both days we were in Oahu. The service was rather quick, and pleasant. Both days, I got a cappuccino with macadamia nut syrup or foam or something. It was extremely delicious. I forgot what my wife got, but she liked them both.“

“Love it! Cute little coffee and on-the-go breakfast options. I had a toasted marshmallow latte with oatmilk, Good Life breakfast sandwich and a mango tajin lemonade. Everything was delicious! I wanted to try to mango tajin limeade, but they were out of the limeade so I settled for lemonade and it did not disappoint! I highly recommend.“

“Wow! Everything was 10/10. I love that they don’t use the normal torani or mornin syrup. I got a Iilikoi themed matcha and it was delicious. I also got a croissant sandwich that was really good. The sandwich was nicely cut in half (I hate biting into a whole sandwich) and had napkins at the bottom of the box. It’s the little things!!“

“The ladies who work here are very sweet. They give you extra smoothie in a little cup. The smoothies are the best I’ve ever had and the fruit is delicious. If you buy a 32 oz you can keep the jar and bring it back for $7 refills. The fruit is reasonably priced, $5-7 for a good size container.“

The menu features a variety of delicious options, from crispy croffle and acai bowls and Avocado Toast.

But I quickly learned it stands for Banana Bread Latte on the island 😂 the barista was SO friendly and sweet! The lattes were perfectly balanced and the cold foam was 10/10. “My friend and I went to Rise the other week for a late lunch, and I'm so glad we did. I really appreciated the low-key and comfortable vibe of the space. The upstairs adds a lot of extra room and every table is positioned to offer privacy. I don't eat Keto all the time, but the chicken and chaffles had a lot of really good flavor and I did not miss the sugar or wheat flour. It also felt really good to know that I was eating something healthy, without having to worry about the ingredients. Our food and drinks were prepared promptly, and I thought everyone there was friendly. The real winner for me was the mac nut latte. It is gritty (with chopped macadamia nuts) which surprised me at first, but I liked it because it added to the nutty flavor. I find myself still thinking about it. I like my coffee strong, and I love the flavor of mac nuts so this is a winner in my book. I work nearby, and am glad Rise is there because there aren't many good coffee houses in the area in my opinion - let alone one that offers fresh and healthy meal choices. I'm grateful Rise is in Kaimuki!“

All so fresh and delicious- You get to watch your donut being made- I would go back every day- My boyfriend said this- put the donut in your mouth, sip Kai coffee- then swish it around and swallow— enjoy for 15 seconds- then enjoy all the sugar and flavors around your teeth-then enjoy the flavors between your teeth-enjoy for 45 seconds- then think about going back for another!!! “Tucked in a very small corner of a small house-like building, Daily Whisk Matcha equally has a very small space for people to enjoy or relax with their matcha. I didn’t expect how small the space was or how many seats that were available, but I decided to visit during a local holiday and it was definitely busy. There are only about six chairs you can sit in, so it’s definitely a grab n’ go situation. There’s also very limited parking, so you can’t stay too long. As for the matcha, it was pretty good. They have a variety of matcha drinks that I would want to try again someday. Next time, I would probably try to come in earlier so that I wouldn’t have to wait in line.“

“Arvo Cafe quickly became a daily highlight of my stay at the Surfjack. The team are exceptional; friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. By my third visit they already knew my name and coffee order, which made every morning feel personal.

The coffee is excellent (not always easy to find), and the toasted everything bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon is the perfect light breakfast.
