Top three favorite beaches in Oahu. You will need to have military access to get to bellows beach but before the military gate, there's parking and the beach stretched out to there so you can still enjoy the beautiful blue waters if you don't have military access. It's on the windward side, so very windy! The water and sand are perfect though.
It’s an older recreation facility so don’t expect it to compare with more expensive commercial hotels. The beach and other areas are limited to is card holders and their families so you don’t deal with big crowds. Shopette and gas pumps are there along with restrooms and an equipment rental (body boards, goggles, kayaks, etc) that’s far cheaper than off base. Awesome beach on the windward side. There's a military checkpoint at the entrance, so it's only accessible if you have military ID. Because of this, it won't get too crowded and not so much riff-raff.Secure area with a large, shaded pavilion and lots of tables. Full bathrooms (not nasty porta potties) and outside showers.
