Came here for the manapua, and we were not disappointed. They had so many different flavors! We tried all the ones they had left by the time we got there, and our favorite was the kalua pork. Smoky, moist bbq flavor in the filling with a soft bun. Super reasonable prices. We are from out of town, and found all the choices kind of overwhelming, best to look for awhile or review the menu before getting there. Service was friendly.
The steamed manapua was 👍 good. The bun was soft and fresh, while the meat was nicely minced and tasty. I bought 3 different types of noodles, chow fun, chow mein, and an udon type. I though the first two were great, but the udon one was a bit dry, maybe because it was toward the end of the day. I would recommend the mini manapuas too. I miss Hawaii’s Manapua, juicy and flavorful. Just like I remember, it just got smaller. Same delicious food, great flavor. They only thing changed was the portion size.
