Chun Wah Kam Noodle Factory Reviews
The steamed manapua was 👍 good. The bun was soft and fresh, while the meat was nicely minced and tasty. I bought 3 different types of noodles, chow fun, chow mein, and an udon type. I though the first two were great, but the udon one was a bit dry, maybe because it was toward the end of the day. I would recommend the mini manapuas too. I miss Hawaii’s Manapua, juicy and flavorful. Just like I remember, it just got smaller. Same delicious food, great flavor. They only thing changed was the portion size.
You most definitely want to order ahead on those special days like valentines days. If you don't order pre-order pre pay online , you need to expect there's going to be a line waiting out the door. AND you want to have 1 driver and 1 person to pickup, (2 people in the car), because the size of the parking lot is not quite the capacity to the sometimes sudden influx of customers.

Chun Wah Kam Noodle Factory in Kalihi is a popular local eatery and catering business in Honolulu. Known for their delicious Manapua and pork hash, customers recommend arriving early to get the Manapua before they run out. The restaurant offers a variety of flavorful dishes, including different manapua flavors such as char siu, chicken curry, and black sugar, as well as sides like fried rice, garlic chicken, and beef broccoli. Many visitors find the steamed charsiu Manapua to be the best and love the mini size options. The staff is friendly and organized, making the experience pleasant. While the takeout Chinese and local food are tasty, there is no seating for dining in. The prices are a bit high, and parking can be challenging with limited spaces. Some customers noted that the plate lunches can be overly salty, but overall, the restaurant remains a favorite for hearty portions and flavorful dishes. The rice cake is highlighted as a particularly enjoyable part of the meal.
