I mostly go to their Kalihi location for their manapua & dim sum, not really for their ala carte plate lunches. They run out of manapua fairly quickly, you need to go early to get the ones you want. Their prices are rather high, the service is lukewarm, and parking is terrible with their 3 parking stalls, one is very narrow (have to find street p. BUT if it all works out you can get tasty takeout chinese/local food boxed up to go most days of the week! There's no place to sit to eat, takeout is the only option.

This is a review for their plate lunches. Haven't been here in a while. Came here on a Saturday at about 1:30 so not much choices left. I got a 2 choice plate with ginger chicken fried rice and udon noodles for my starch and garlic chicken and eggplant tofu for my entrees. Though this plate was huge for $14, everything was so excessively salty. Especially the fried rice and garlic chicken. I could still taste the sodium lingering on my tongue. And I used to love their ginger chix fried rice. I also got the rice cake which was the best part of my meal. Their staff was friendly today but overall, the food is too salty for me.

They have the greatest manapua and pork hash. I love the ginger fried rice! It's the ginger chicken and they do fried rice with it. So yummy!

Parking SUCKS. The line moves quickly. Prices are a little high (but so is everything in the world) Manaupua is good Pork Hash taste like wax paper wrapped around uncooked pork Location is fairly clean... It's our go to since Char Hun Sut closed =(

Don't listen to anyone about Libby's being better. Chun's is superior. I like the charsui manapua. It's classic sweet charsui goodness. Libby's is salty. Chun's is a kick above the rest!

Visited the outlet at Kapolei. Marginal tasting beef broccoli and garlic chicken. Chow fun and wide noodles were not up to par, it was tasteless. Humbow and Manapua was great Dirty bathrooms. Womens didn't have any hand towels or soap. Appreciation by staff was zero. Restaurant was empty at 1:30 pm No mahalos as we departed after spending $45 We visited their Ala Moana shop back in November 2023 and had a great experience

New to this place. And as a visitor it was a little overwhelming not knowing what food I was looking at - but they were patient and super helpful. The food was authentic and the home made manapua's were worth coming back for again !

SUMMARY (Too Long, Didn't Read) - Solid manapuas, quality is always top notch. Like many people have stated, parking is tough to find at this specific location. The parking is so bad I was going to rate this place a 3/5, however the staff makes up for the lack of parking! PRO TIPS - 1) Bring a friend to hop out and order because parking is so difficult! 2) Call in your order so you don't have to park 3) FOOD - Steamed and baked char siu - SOLID everytime! One of the best on the island. Can't go wrong with these classics. Pizza - These were a bit underwheling, pizza stuffings includes stringy mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and made-from-scratch tomato sauce which is okay but I would've preferred more cheese! Spicy pork - Their pork is marinated in a fiery Szechuan sauce and chilis so I would warn you these do get spicy! I still liked the original char siu better! ATMOSPHERE - Not sure if there is any inside seating Looked like a factory in the back while the front facing counter had 2 registers to account for the patron line PARKING - WORST PART ABOUT THIS LOCATION. Extreeeeemely limited SERVICE - Good, the line moved quickly. No complaints here. They were very accommodating PRICE - $, $2.50 for a BIG MANAPUA?! Can't go wrong with that! It only costed $5 to fill me up!!

If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. I called from 12Noon to 2pm, and no one was able to pick up the phone to assist me. What's the point having a phone-ordering system and not using it? You guys need to do better!

Manapua is good but parking is horrible!!!! Only 3-4 parking stalls so you have to walk and park at the side street like a block or 2 blocks away bc you cannot find parking. When i went there there was only 1 spot left but didnt realize the chunwah kam's van is eyeing for the same spot and rolled in before me. Decided to go around 1 to 2 blocks but only available is by Savers which is 2 blocks away. Argghh!! Cant believe have to fight for parking with the business company's van. Left and decided to buy pizza for my kids' volleyball team.

I went on Halloween lunch time I got two plates one bowl with noodles n garlic chicken and a two choice plate with thin noodle and char sui fried rice with orange chicken and lemon chicken it was so good the food very tasty took us two days to finish our plates my mom n I. The ambiance is chill so much TJ choose from I'll be back again before my flight to Cali on Thursday to take back a dozen baked Manapua for my family and maybe the flight crew also share the goodness and support our local eateries there the best around.
