Really enjoyed the beef chow fun at the Waikiki location so wanted to come to the Chinatown location to try since it is $4 cheaper for the beef chow fun. it was excellent with lots of wok flavour for $13.99...portion is average but definitely not huge. good for one person. also had the hot hong kong tea for $4.50 and it was excellent...very authentic hong style steeped tea. This is the cutest little mom and pop restaurant. We were greeted immediately after arriving and the server finished cleaning our table and putting it together to make room for our party of five. The ambience is really nice. There's a cute tile pattern on the walls and there are plenty of HK Posters and photos around the restaurant.Our server/hostess was kind and very patient with us. I cannot get over this laksa!!! Granted, this was the first time I tried Laksa.... As someone who does not like spicy food, this had the perfect kick. It was a creammy-like curry-like-flavored soup with a hint of citrus. The chicken was nicely cooked and to pair with the thin noodles was sooo easy to eat! Very flavorful!
