“I’ve been a customer of Heidi’s since the 70’s, at various locations around Honolulu. I’ve been an infrequent visitor to the Pioneer Plaza location but have returned for two items … Heidi’s Club and the Turkey Cranberry Wrap.

I’ve gravitated to the wrap because it’s low cal / low fat … A Spinach tortilla is filled with greens, pieces of turkey and dollops of canned cranberry sauce. Real cranberry sauce would take this wrap from a healthy and tasty choice to a simply scrumptious choice. Oh well, one can dream.

The wrap is now $13 … Alas, prices have increased almost everywhere. There are very few places where we can get a tasty and filling lunch for less than $20. Yes, I know, if we complain about prices, we’re old. Anyway, back to Heidi’s … their menu hasn’t changed very much over the years … You can still get sandwiches, salads, and soups from the friendly staff.“

“As a film student, Ba-Le is the closest available place that's still open ( as film classes are long). The food is extremely affordable, their Banh Mi's being $8-9 and Pho at $12, they also have Vietnamese Coffee at $4 but it tastes really good. The staff are really nice and efficient, they do not waste your time. The only thing that sucks is There is so many students that are also there so getting a seat will be tough during busy hours :)“

Choose the bread, cheese, toasted or not and all the toppings. You can be out of there with free parking as long as you are in and out of the parking lot in 15 minutes.“

I never knew that even though I used to order protein bowls frequently at other branches. So glad I learnt something today and the Spicy Italian meats heated up tasted amazing! “This has become our go-to Subway when we want a quick, reliable meal. We almost always order ahead through the Subway app, which makes it easy to customize our sandwiches and usually lets us skip the line when we arrive for pickup.

The restaurant is clean, bright, and has been nicely remodeled. The staff has always been friendly, and our orders have been ready on time.

We usually stop by with our toddler, who enjoys coming along even though she doesn't usually order anything here. Ordering ahead makes pickup quick and easy, which is a big plus when you're out with a young child and don't want to spend much time waiting in line.

Parking can get a little tight during peak hours, but we've generally been able to find a space without much trouble.

“Subs is great for fresh ingreeds indeed. Of course the 808 prices never match the commericals, lol. At Kamʻs the service is always great. Never had an issue. Super profesh. Only thing is 1.) no more bathroom, 2.) only get like 3 small tables and the 4th table is right next to the door which swings open inward so when it opens 4.) the wind blows all your stuff off the table unless youʻre already prepared for battle against the zephyrs. But at least the place is always clean and they keep everything restocked and the trash can is never overflowing.“

“Unintentionally walked in close to closing with my bf and Mike was so welcoming and provided us with stellar customer service without rushing us. One last customer walked and in and Mike invited him in with a warm professional attitude and it was refreshing! My Bf forgot my cookies, Mike overheard and came back to the register when he could have let it go because I clearly said “it’s okay, I’ll get cookies at 7/11” he took care of us and ringed us up promptly and again demonstrated great service.
