“Always fast, polite service during lunch rush. Writing this review to commend the staff. Lady in front of me was talking into the glass then yelling when workers didn't make it correctly. Workers did a great job of responding politely even though the lady was verbally abusive to the employees. Rude lady started dropping the names of 'Subway owners', asking if 'so-and-so' still owned this Subway and named 3 separate names as owners. Had ridiculous requests that are not allowed, such as asking for more meat, and scoffing when the workers still adhered to her request. Asked for pepper after the sandwich was wrapped and in her hands. If you are going to to have ridiculous requests and be a pain to somebody making your food, go next door to the grocery store and grab some mayonnaise and bread and make your own food.“

Price was a little wild though, it was $19 for a foot long pastrami with chips and soda. “Went in around 6 today, the gentleman working the store was the only one there because his partner was running late. He had a ton of big online tickets a few people in store and the people kept coming in all while he was alone. He stayed calm and was very friendly towards everyone he was serving and got things out as fast as he could while giving excellent service. “Trying out this place for the first time! I walked in and no one was behind the counter. I saw two ladies working on the side, which looked like they were preparing online orders. Honestly, not being greeted rubbed me the wrong way at first. But the menu is right there, so I guess you don’t really need assistance until you’re ready to order.

I ordered the Cousin, and it was definitely worth the drive! The flavors were on point, and the bread tasted fresh. I ordered a half sub and still had enough left over for later.

“I’ve been a customer of Heidi’s since the 70’s, at various locations around Honolulu. I’ve been an infrequent visitor to the Pioneer Plaza location but have returned for two items … Heidi’s Club and the Turkey Cranberry Wrap.

I’ve gravitated to the wrap because it’s low cal / low fat … A Spinach tortilla is filled with greens, pieces of turkey and dollops of canned cranberry sauce. Real cranberry sauce would take this wrap from a healthy and tasty choice to a simply scrumptious choice. Oh well, one can dream.

The wrap is now $13 … Alas, prices have increased almost everywhere. There are very few places where we can get a tasty and filling lunch for less than $20. Yes, I know, if we complain about prices, we’re old. Anyway, back to Heidi’s … their menu hasn’t changed very much over the years … You can still get sandwiches, salads, and soups from the friendly staff.“

“As a film student, Ba-Le is the closest available place that's still open ( as film classes are long). The food is extremely affordable, their Banh Mi's being $8-9 and Pho at $12, they also have Vietnamese Coffee at $4 but it tastes really good. The staff are really nice and efficient, they do not waste your time. The only thing that sucks is There is so many students that are also there so getting a seat will be tough during busy hours :)“

“As someone who used to work at subway and also has been to most of the subways on the island I can say with 100% certainty that this is the best one to go to. This is the only subway I ever go to,It's so so clean and the service is really fast. I Highly reccomend.“

“First time ordering online at this Subway, went rather smoothly. Located inside the NEX mini mart by the bowling alley on Pearl Harbor. Transaction went smoother than the last time I ordered online from a Subway in Aiea (had to wait 15 minutes for the order since they were shorthanded 😥)

Ordered two BMT Footlongs online using the bogo code and with a pickup time of 1030am and when I arrived it was waiting for me at the counter🤙

Why no “Hair Net”?“

“A few days ago, my son and I went to the pearl bridge center. The parking lot was spacious and the store was cool and clean. I often eat Subway, but I have never seen a place that is as clean and fresh as here, especially bread. The staff members always greet me kindly. I asked the staff and they said they always bake bread on the early every morning. My son loves cookies here so much. I'm going to come more often in the future.
