“The storefront was so clean and the customer service was top tier! It smelled like how Subways used to when the foot longs were still $5 lol. The ingredients all looked good, the helpings were the right size, and the sandwich tasted great. I wanted meatball marinara with fresh mozzarella and when the worker saw the sandwich that I was getting, she made sure to point out to me that the sandwich i wanted was cheaper as the combo on the board and asked if I wanted her to make it that way. I really appreciated that! I got chips but they didn’t try to upsell us on the meal after the first time we said no (which most other locations do and I hate). The subway in the mall is closer but we’ll definitely make this one our regular spot instead.“
“All the pre-set menu items look delish. Service was super fast and the staff were nice when I entered :) I got the veggie sandwich whole and it was HUGE. Like totally worth the price. My partner got the hula sandwich half and it was delicious. We were already in the area for the vet across the street so it worked great to stop by Ohana sub. Better than most sandwich shops on Oahu ❤️“
“This spot is located near the Walmart. To me, Bahn mi consists of quality fresh ingredients, texture, pickles, right amount of sauce and good baguette.I’ve tried pretty much everything in their menu in the last. This time I tried their vegetarian tofu and mushroom. Personally speaking, I could use a bit more taste in the lemongrass tofu, still tasted good though. The Vietnamese coffee is also very good.“
“Sandwiches are awesome. Make sure to include the Papaya Seed Dressing. A full sandwhich is 18", about twice as much as a person should eat. Not a lot of seating, but there is usually a seat.Parking: Plenty of free parking in the back.“
“Super fresh and delightful food from Bella Banh Mi Cafe! I can honestly say that this is the best banh mi I have ever had and I have had a lot of banh mis in my lifetime! I loved the smoked flavor to the meats. They give more insides than bread or wrapper, which is hard to come by these days. They put generous amounts of cucumber, carrots, and Chinese parsley in my sandwich and I enjoyed every last bite! The bread was perfect - flaky with lots of crunch. The summer rolls filled with bbq pork had that great charbroiled taste too and they did not skimp on the meat. The homemade peanut dipping sauce was perfection! This was a delicious and filling lunch! I simply cannot wait to come back!“
“We got a melon slushy it was so yummy. Round off 5 bucks a cup it was cold sweet and bright green ? my little ones enjoyed it maybe next time we will try the food ? out door seating and it was sunny and breezy that day so it was a nice little spot to stop ✔️“
“Best sandwich ? n Hawaii, pffffft Earls, gentrification sandwiches, IMO, Stortos is classic pono ono kine hunnid!! Truly feel better once I leave either one of their locations. The humans working there are the salt of the earth, truest and nicest staff. Stortos is one of these places that should be listed as a state treasure maybe even National. Small business with amazing product. The papaya dressing is from heaven I swear it. I talk to the gods all the time and it’s their favorite as well, in heaven. Aloha and mahalo, my Friday Sunset 8” stacked with side of pickles made my day, maybe even the weekend. Just love this spot. And keep Earl’s sloppy loppy loopy poopy ovah in kaka’ako. HahahahahHa Awn Mawmma ?Parking: Prowl for meters, if cannot park in loading zone, parking attendants no give tickets anymore.“
“Get the strawberry milk! Just trust me and do it. Get it with a little bit of ice. We went to get the Japanese strawberry sandwich and the mixed fruit sandwich to go, and wanted a drink to share. I had one sip of my friends strawberry milk and literally commanded my husband to get 2 more: one for each of us they were that good! I don’t even like milk and I loved that. Those strawberries they use really made it. It was sweet and refreshing. I did pay for it later (lactose intolerant) it it was worth it!The sandwiches were also very good and well worth every penny. Those Japanese strawberries are delicate and perfectly sweet and sour and that bread is hands down the best. I always hit up the Mana bakery when we visit Hawaii so I have o my good things to say.“
“Janet and her team are awesome! The place is super clean despite being in an industrial area where there's lots of dirt and dust in the air. Janet really makes it a point to take care of her customers and ensure they are happy with their order. The food is always fresh and tasty!“
“Went for the first time yesterday the sandwich was incredible! They bake their own bread and they have little mini loafs, I used the mini loaf today to make the best french toast I've ever had. The staff are friendly, the food is amazing, you gotta try this place!“
“The sandwiches here are great. They all seem to be a few dollars more than you’d expect but that’s Hawaii. Customer service is great, but there is always something off when I come here. Sale system isn’t processing gift cards, they are out of a lot of offerings, or something else. The tables always have crumbs on them and food takes a little long. The sandwich variety and quality keeps me coming back despite these inconveniences.“
“Staff is absolutely amazing my best-friend and I are visiting from california and this is the best service we have had in a long time. The lady who helped us worked so hard and quick especially considering she was by herself. Don’t walk but run to this subway!“
“Food = excellent always. No issues with taste here. Blows away subway or any other sub shop in my opinion Service = excellent and very attentive. Ambiance- it's a sub shop! Very busy at times. Especially at lunch. Ordered at giant "famous Philly" awesome sandwich! HEY DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE APP! order a sub and they will give you 72 SHORE POINTS! BTW that's a reg sub! 1-1/2-29. Can't beat that!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Subway located at 1425 Liliha St #6, Honolulu, HI 96817, and I must say it was an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that the staff at this Subway truly puts love into making their sandwiches. The level of care and attention they put into each sandwich was truly exceptional. They took their time to layer each ingredient with precision, ensuring that every bite was full of flavor and texture. It was clear that they were not just throwing together a sandwich, but crafting a culinary masterpiece. The staff at this Subway were also incredibly friendly and engaging. They greeted me with a smile and treated me like a valued customer. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions for toppings and sauces. It was clear that they took pride in their work and wanted to ensure that every customer had a great experience. In addition to the amazing sandwiches and friendly service, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and inviting. The seating area was well-maintained and comfortable, creating a pleasant dining environment.I highly recommend visiting this Subway location on 1425 Liliha St #6, Honolulu, HI 96817. The staff's dedication to making delicious sandwiches with love and care, coupled with their friendly service, sets them apart from other Subway locations. Give it a try and experience the difference for yourself!Best on the Island!“
“This food truck on Saturdays is a must when I'm there for farmer market tamago sandwich to there OG Katsu sandwich and and now serving there keiki hot dog Katsu with fries my kids gave them the thumbs up and that never reach the vehicle and wiped it out easy check them out good people from there service to cashier to the cooks they hold it down and keep it real and always taking there menu to new height trust me not going to be disappointed.“
“First time ever trying Jersey Mike’s - I had the chicken Philly, it was good - really cheesy. The fries were good too, super crunchy which is what I like. April was helping me and she was super sweet - had great customer service, I’ll definitely be back.“
“Unintentionally walked in close to closing with my bf and Mike was so welcoming and provided us with stellar customer service without rushing us. One last customer walked and in and Mike invited him in with a warm professional attitude and it was refreshing! My Bf forgot my cookies, Mike overheard and came back to the register when he could have let it go because I clearly said “it’s okay, I’ll get cookies at 7/11” he took care of us and ringed us up promptly and again demonstrated great service. Thank you Mike! Your work ethic is refreshing to witness.“
“I'd take this over a chain sandwich shop any day. 5 stars for the actual food Thick, soft bread. Thick layering of deli meats, plus fresh, cold toppings. It's a tiny place, so it's better to-go than for dining in. Staff were punching out meals.“
“Came here to grab some sandwich coz I am in the mood for carb-loading. This location is pretty busy so you gotta act fast and make sure before you go in line you already know what to order. I got #2 Braddah (tender roast beef, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo) which is so good and for $10 it is all worth it. It's only good for one person and is already filling. I would definitely love to try their other menu. And this location was a pretty good one as they got plenty parking since it is in a plaza shared with other businesses. Mahalo for reading & happy juandering fellow Yeeps!“
“I ordered a kid's meal and it was just the right portion size. Not to mention, it was very tasty! The service of the food was a very short wait time. I did ask for very crispy fries, which I did not get, however they were not soggy, so not too bad. Unfortunately, the food vendors are disappearing. I can recommend Charley's as a good choice!“
“The Subway on Pearl Harbor on The Subway base side in the Nex store The ladies there has outstanding customer service They have the Freshest veggies than any Subway i have ate on this island. They are not afraid to give you veggies on your wrap,or sandwich..Thank you ladies..“
“We went to the Jersey Mike's in Mililani for two giant sandwiches. One of got the number 9 and the other was the number 13, both on whole wheat bread. As before, we found the subs delicious and they make great leftovers. The meats were freshly sliced and all of the vegetables were also very fresh and they combined to make the best sandwiches. The staff making the sandwiches were very friendly and very efficient as well. We will be back for sure!“
“Sooo everyone has had Subway sandwiches at one time or another right? If not then I got the Subway for you! Located in the small strip mall next to the Costco Waipio. I'm not gonna go into detail about the sandwich because I gotta say. I ain't had a bad sandwich at any Subway on this island, but this place has customer service in spades! The Bruddah making the sandwiches was awesome. Super friendly, super helpful in the choices, and super fast and efficient. He wanted my veggie order before my sandwich was outta the toaster and he hit it perfectly. Even offering extra everything if I wanted it. Who does that? And while I was eating in the super clean restaurant I even heard him making a sandwich via speaker phone for a customers wife and he was just as friendly and efficient with her. That's awesome. This place better watch out. This sandwich maker's CS skills are on point!Anyway only down side is the actual parking for the building. It's horrible but that's not their fault. Just park in the Costco lot near the Makai side and you should be all good. Rahja dat!“
“Okay here it goes. I am not getting paid to do this. Anyway you’re welcome. This is probably the best subway in Wahaiwa. Those ladies will take care of you. Be a team player. Communication is important. I have been going to this place for some time. I am telling you ,know your sandwich artists and they will know you. Haven’t been to any other subway ever since. And for the Mililani subway had a bad experience.“
“I don't go here that often, but I am always treated well, am served quickly, and my food is good when I do go. It would be great if they participated in the Star Card program.Parking: If you go outside of meal hours or right after the base's business day is over, you will have no problems with parking. If you go during those times, you will be hard pressed to find a parking spot.“
“When was the last time you had a meal that really had an effect on you? No, I'm not talking about the last meal you enjoyed, the last time you burnt your mouth, the last time you had an overly sweet cake. I'm talking about the one that really made you have a paradigm shift in your actual life. One whose area of effect extended beyond the duration you were eating it, that embedded itself into your psyche, long after you had finished it.It's a gradually unfamiliar feeling whenever you get it, because as you grow older, that feeling becomes increasingly harder to find. Mostly because as you grow older, the more you get acquainted with the world around you, that it becomes rarer for you to find something that makes you reflect on it, to take a moment to enjoy it. Like your first bite of Kraft Mac & Cheese, or your first medium rare steak.Today, I enjoyed an extraordinary sandwich from a singularly unexpected source. To say that both the meal and its maker have challenged my preconceptions about sandwiches is a gross understatement. Sometimes a sandwich doesn't have to be a supermodel, laden with decadent, expensive ingredients, to have an effect. I was lost amidst the vast choices as I entered, but was guided through with customer service only Hawai'i could have. Equipped with the submarine sandwich and a cookie, I sat down.To say that a sandwich could fix me is absurd. But as I began my jaw workout of engulfing this tall gift from God, I had a sense of relief rush over me. My jade glasses were washed away, the world was no longer in monochrome. This toe-curling, juicy, girthy, aromatic, hefty sub was no match for my depression, my apathetic demeanor, nor my fatigue. It was a warm embrace on a summer day. A hearth in a snowy lodge. Like telling your friends you love them, instead of hiding it under your day-to-day greetings. For a little while, there were no worries of the past, present, or future. There were no nagging regrets of lost love, or a feeling of being in the wrong place and time. For a moment, I belonged where I was, in that moment. To be niche, like walking down the stairs in 'Hello, Dolly', with the theme song in the finale.Perhaps I was just hungry. Maybe I was going through it. But in this modern world of abundancy, I feel we often forget to hold onto what we find truly special, instead moving onto the next thing, always in a rush. This sandwich helped me remember that there are great things in this world, things to look forward to and to make life worth living, like spending time with good friends. It helped me remember I enjoy looking at the world through an optimistic lens. It reminded me to hold onto the bonds I've made with friends. Just because the vessel for my mental healing was in a sandwich, doesn't make the experience any less real for me.Not as a means of putting an item of monetary value on a pedestal, but to highlight an experience in my day, one that I didn't know I needed. A good meal loves you unconditionally, with a designated beginning and end. Like a soft embrace, but when it's over, there's no anguish, or conflicting feelings, just gratitude for what it was, and who it made you. Maybe I needed a reminder that we can take things that end, and see them as sandwiches. Just because I no longer have it in my hand, doesn't mean I shouldn't have ever gotten it. It is something that changed me for the better for a long time, and fulfilled me until the next meal. I don't regret getting it--rather, I'm really glad I had a good moment in my day, it was enjoyable. Things that end are not things that are bad. The end of a concert won't make fans ask for a refund. The loss of a beloved pet won't make the owner wish they had never gotten the pet. The separation from someone life-changing won't make me wish I had never gone to Lithuania. Rather, like a sandwich, I can look back with gratitude, because I enjoyed it. You have not met all the people, or sandwiches, in your life who are going to love and cheri“
