We had the pleasure of dining at Hihimanu last night, and it was easily the highlight of my time on the island.
Chef Ray makes the best sushi I’ve ever eaten look almost effortless. Of course, nothing about it is effortless. That kind of ease only comes after years of discipline and doing the work when nobody is watching. You are eating in the house of someone who has truly mastered his craft.
