Our server Hunter, very friendly very attentive. Wagyu Cheeseburger was so juicy. My Crab pasta was excellent. Popover with strawberry butter and Consommé soup were always delicious. I ordered Homemade chocolate chip cookies taking home. Freshly baked. I will have another reservation end of this month. I will miss Mariposa.
Mariposa offers a stunning view of Ala Moana beach park, accompanied by delicious dishes like their special crab pasta and tasty chicken broth. The atmosphere is bustling with live entertainment, and the service remains attentive and super friendly with tons of aloha. Customers are welcomed with Mariposa's signature 'popovers' that simply melt in their mouth, along with a classic chicken consommé amuse-bouche. It is a local gem and one of the best experiences in the islands, well known by locals. Each dish is delicious and perfect, from the Crab & Shrimp Louie to the pulled pork sandwich. The presentation is exquisite, and everything is prepared to 'perfection' and tastes wonderful. The mango BBQ pulled pork sandwich comes with salad and fries, adding to the diverse menu. While the setting, ambiance, food, and service contribute to an enjoyable dining experience, some guests have noted that not all dishes, like the Hurricane French fries, met their expectations. However, the overall experience remains special, making it a repeat destination in Honolulu.
