“We RAN to Waffle and Berry after the zoo. We showed up 15 minutes before closed and they were quick to calm us. As long as we ordered by 2 minutes before close, we would be served. And then they showed up with a snack plate for our toddler. He absolutely loved it!! We absolutely loved our dessert. Crispy, warm waffle. Sweet ice cream and berries. Unbelievably welcoming environment.“

“If your looking for a good gluten free place this is the place for you, my sister has celiac and it’s always hard to find places but this place was perfect near our hotel, very filling waffles and you walk out feeling healthy with there organic options, it’s a small place but I felt the Hawaii experience dining outside, I highly recommend them if u have celiac disease“

“Loved this place! Guy taking orders was awesome, cook in back was crushing it. Food was great and just the right size portions for a breakfast before heading out to the beach for the day. The line may be a little long, but it’s worth the wait.“

They have limited options but available options are unique and yummy.
The service is bit on the slow, if you have a party of three, they still serve one person at a time. So plan your time well.
But the breakfast is awesome.

“Huge fan of Le Crepe Cafe and couldn't wait to eat here when we got to the island! I used to come here with my sister when she lived in Manoa, and the cafe was in a food truck in the Safeway parking lot. I was so happy to see they've found longterm success and are now in a storefront. Excellent savory and sweet crepes, and the coffee was on point. Very friendly girls working too. Can't wait to come back again next time!“

“We made a quick stop here for breakfast. It is an order at the counter style restaurant. Our food. Ame out so fast! I had the Spinsch, mushroom and cheese omelet. They were out of hash browns and I was bummed until I tried the home fries. YUM! They were so good that it made me forget I wanted hash browns. The omelet was light and fluffy, but so big I was unable to finish it and the potatoes. So odd. Because I usually eat everything. It was very good and I will put this in my top breakfast place list for sure! Nothing fancy. Just good home cooking. Thanks, Koa Pancake House for a great start to my day!
Side note: I loved the representation of all military branches displayed by the flags hanging from the ceiling. 🥰“

“Though I think I've only ever ordered the veggie omelet with cheese, it is my favorite omelet. Perfect size and great veggie selection (who knew cabbage would be so good in an omelet?!)
The hashbrowns are perfectly crispy. Be sure to get the biscuit!
My friends have enjoyed the other menu items they've ordered.
While I usually dine in this time I did takeout and everything was just as good as if I had eaten there. (Granted, I did eat it in my car right away.)
FYI they're now closed for repairs, I think till Jan 7.“

“Really enjoy the food, but each time we have come they have forgotten some of our food. First time it was crispy bacon and buttermilk pancakes. Second time was the buttermilk pancakes.

They were generous and offered a refund for the crispy bacon and buttermilk pancakes the first time. They were very kind and apologetic after each time.

“We stayed at the Royal Hawaiian for 8 days. It was a beautiful hotel, and we got breakfast as part of the stay. You have to go within 30 min of opening for breakfast, otherwise a line builds up quickly and it ends up being 1 hr wait. The pink palace pancakes were the recommended and they were superb made with guava. We also got the works omelet, and short rib eggs Benedict, smoked salmon, etc. Everything we had there was very tasty, even the continental breakfast to go was good. Such friendly service staff there in the morning. And also great service at the bar. Ask for a table by the beach to watch the ocean.“

“There was only two ladies working there when we went so it took a little while to get our table and order food, however, the wait time for our food was not bad. I got the ube pancakes and they were delicious! It was good, but I wouldn’t come back.“

I came here with my friend and we ordered the honey toast, Vanilla ice cream dream toast with chocolate sauce, Oreo cookie, pocky sticks and sprinkle sugar powder with raspberry. “This morning, my husband and I visited the IHOP on Ala Moana Blvd. The establishment opened up at 6 AM and there was about 12 people in line waiting. Upon one of the workers named Mike’s arrival, he opened the doors and Immediately seated everyone. Within five minutes, everyone had drinks, and he was preparing to take everyone’s order. He did this with Grace and expeditiously without complaint. Although he appeared to be the only one working, he remained calm under pressure and attentive to everyone’s needs until more staff arrived to assist him. We want to commend him for a job well done.
