“Had breakfast for dinner here this week without a reservation. Our server Saye (I know I spelled this wrong, sorry!) was unbelievably welcoming and kind. She offered a substitution option for my crab brioche that was a fantastic and the overall experience was just wonderful. I had a coworker who was raving about having to go back here and I can understand why. This a a must-eat location!“
“Great food. Steve and Ryan were excellent! Best service I've received so far. We got the paletas and it didn't disappoint. If you don't like a drink on the menu ask Steve and he'll whip you something up to fit your liking.“
“You know when you're looking a place that has delicious food (including breakfast now), amazing service, karaoke, dart boards, endless drinks, up to date sports games and a beautiful display, this is where you go. Period. Can't wait to visit again. Ask for Brit, Kailani or Tasha!“
“The most delicious Japanese food in Hawaii. Moreover, the cost performance is incredible! First of all, draft beer is currently $5. Moreover, the fineness of the bubbles is incredible. I ended up drinking 4 drinks by myself. Yakisoba and grilled mackerel (which never rhymes with each other) are both delicious. The atmosphere made me feel as if I were in Japan. It's helpful that most of the store staff can also speak Japanese. We recommend that you stop by if you feel a little heavy about American food. I also found our store on Google Maps. Please give it a try after reading this comment. You won't regret it!The best Japanese food in Hawaii. And the costuming is unbelievable! First of all, draft beer is only $5 at this point. And the fineness of the foam is unbelievable. I drank 4 glasses by myself. The yakisoba and yakisaba (not a rhyme ) are both delicious. The atmosphere was so relaxing that it was almost as if I was in Japan. The waitstaff can usually communicate in Japanese, which is a big help. If you are feeling a bit weighed down by American food, I recommend you stop by. I also found our restaurant on Google Maps. If you read this comment, please go there. You won't regret it!“
“Business with a heart - their business practices employ marginalized communities, providing food assistance and many more. The ambience is cosy and intimate, the staff are super sweet. The food and drinks - you can't go wrong with choosing anything because they all will turn out good. My personal favorite is the scallop risotto and truffle fries. Crab cakes and seafood medley is good too. There are enough options for a pescatarian like me despite its name. For parking there is a paid parking lot nearby, I do wish we could have parking validated and if you want to make a reservation they'd ask your credit card details and charge $60 if you don't show up which discourages me from making a reservation and showing up during less busy times instead.Dietary restrictions: The place is meat heavy but there are still seafood and small vegetarian optionsWheelchair accessibility: The seating is upstairs. Not sure if there are elevators but we mostly use stairs“
“We had a really nice, relaxing dinner here. It was a Wednesday and not crowded at all. The selection of really fun, unique cocktails was good and the small plates were very good (we had the chips/popcorn), asparagus and the salmon. It was a fun, quirky place. Our server was exceptional as well.“
“Conveniently located on the second floor of Nordstrom Ala Moana this bar that offers yummy drinks and light bites is perfect to break up your shopping. The service is great and they have a wide variety of cocktails and bites. My fave is their chicken and lime tacos. They are perfect to share and bursting with flavor! I also like the burrata. They have similar food items from the restaurant upstairs-Ruscello. Their menu changes from time to time. There is plenty of bar top tables or a lounge area where you can lay back and sip on your drink. I ordered a Prosecco with lemon drink. (forgot the name) but it was delicious!“
“This place is super cute, the service was incredible. It smelled so good when we walked in, so it was a hard choice but I had the lamb and my husband had the 4 cheese pizza and they were both very good. I highly recommend the brushetta it was fantastic! Desert we went with Gelato and I had espresso on mine. Perfect ending to a wonderful day“
“Fantastic ramen and yam cha in an informal cafe setting. Great place for a little family reunion, and it didn’t break the bank!Vegetarian options: I don’t eat pork but reveled in the Impossible versions of some of their pork dishes.Parking: Go to the TJ Max structure. Crowded but free.“
“I went there with no expectations, so I was very satisfied with the service and the quality of the service.Everything is delicious. I can't say which one, but I wanted to eat steak, so I came here, but if you're going to a famous restaurant that's expensive, I highly recommend this. We also have a Japanese manager, so I think he can help you in Japanese as well.I also received full marks for the attentiveness of the female clerk who quickly responded to irregular order errors. I will definitely stop by again when I come to Hawaii.“
“Mud Hen Water had one of the more unique menus out of all the places we ate in Hawaii, with dishes that were an interesting fusion of Japanese, traditional Hawaiian, and many other cuisines. My favorite dish was the handmade pasta with venison, which was absolutely delicious and caused my wife to almost abandon her meal to try and eat mine. Hers was also fantastic, a crispy chicken dish that was tender, well-seasoned and really juicy. With excellent service, great food, and a laid-back atmosphere, Mud Hen Water is a strong recommendation for anyone in the Honolulu area looking for a unique dinner spot.“
